I did so much random shit in GTA 4, and I felt like your missions and so on were pretty long with multiple approaches, where as with GTA 5 everything is incredibly specific, with cutscenes every 10 minutes.

I get annoyed when RDR2 fanboys compare their game to GTA IV. For one thing, RDR1 still has more in common with GTA IV. The games were released only 2 years apart on the same console and have a virtually identical control scheme. And also, GTA IV does not have the ridiculously shitty slow movement and dumb slow mechanics of RDR2. It feels like RDR2 fans just try to use GTA IV as a way to make their game seem more legit, but it's a dumb comparison. RDR2 is in another class of its own when its comes to slowness and attempted realism. GTA IV feels pretty arcadey in comparison

It's about FUN. The realistic physics in GTA 4 were fun to play around. The realistic shit in RDR 2 isn't fun, it's a nuisance.

Man I'd love to play this game at 1440p 60fps again.

Strawman argument. This is not the case. I think a lot of people would defend V's more rapid, fun driving and general gameplay. The main issue is that the physics are worse, no DLC, and the gameplay in general is less dynamic due to too-powerful cops. People want the more advanced physics of IV with the more fun gaminess of V.

And even if Rockstar was an American company, it would have been made by a country that Britain originally invented, so it's still technically British
