Fuck the two first games were amazing. I keep putting off Despair Girls and the third one because as I draw closer to the end I feel that "it's all over soon"-despair that always comes over me when something cool is about to end.

How is Despair Girls anyway? I've heard it' a very different game from D1 and D2.

The first one was fucking hot garbage but the characters were okay i guess. It served for a good introduction but oh fucking god how terrible it is, it thinks you are a retarded guy with amnesia.
And then Comes DR2 and improves on everything and even has the wonderful character that is Hopeman, he carried the entire game.
The 3rd one is okay, expected ending, okay cases, music was good.
Overall a good experience if you can pass through DR1.

The whole game had a theme of Truths vs Lies. The truth is usually ugly and something you have to accept. Lies are easy to handle, but just a fabrication of what’s real. At times It’s hard to what’s real or not, but what you feel is always real. Despite everything being fake and not real you can still take what you felt and add it to your own life experiences

1 and 2 are not fiction within their own stories. V3's universe has a version of 1 and 2 that are fiction. Fiction or not, the stories are the same, anyway. No, Hope's Peak did not exist in the world of V3, but that shouldn't matter. 1, 2, and 3 portrayed the world of Hope's Peak being real.

All Danganronpa is about is hyper-talented high schoolers murdering each other, and that's all it has to be. Don't be disappointed.

After some time, I can kinda enjoy it for what it is. My problem is that the backstory, I found far more interesting, never got finished. The despair whole world burning was a better fit and should have been properly resolved instead
