About to start the biggest gaming comeback in history

Hello Tyler

lmao

>Buys out one of my favourite youtube cooking channels
>Turns into a commercial channel and slowly dies
>Attempt to revitalize it is to put himself in a video where he just eats a steak

It pissed me off that so many pcbros flooded the video and gave it praise just because of that.

He said that they would do that when Linux got to 3% of (non-Chinese) Steam users. Have you done your part?

Plus if you want to know what Valve are working on you don't understand that Valve is an open source gaming technology company now. Practically everything they're working on which isn't their big secret Linux-exclusive title to launch the brave new world of PC gaming is in the open. You can actually check up on Valve employees accounts and see the progress made on projects like Mesa (high performance standards compliant drivers), ACO (super fast shader compiler for AMD hardware), fossilize (long term shader caching for distribution), and of course everyones favorite DXVK (D3D implementation on Vulkan which can run faster than card makers own D3D11 support)

Half Life 2.5 VR and Half Life Citadel (For VR)

>Have you done your part?

I'm the guy you're referring to. Yes, I have Linux on my laptop and Steam on there. I'll likely migrate from Windows 7 to Linux on my main machine next year.

Unfortunately if you use Windows at all for Steam, you still count as a Windows user. Valve doesn't track users who dual boot or have a secondary machine, and if you want game developers to pay attention to Linux so that you'll be able to make the switch when Windows 7 is gone you need to commit to the switch as soon as possible.

The sad thing though is that its probably too late. Publishers have have once again proved willing to make developers bend over for the limitations desired by platform holders willing to pay. Who knew that Epic would wind up being the Judas to sell the future of PC gaming out.

Running an online casino disguised as a game studio, same as the last few years.

He's working on BCI devices so he can escape this mortal plane

Sharpening his knife collection while his team is doing all the work. You know, CEO stuff.
