The earliest chapters are some of the hardest. You should do fine until you reach late game though but be aware the bosses are actually decent on Mentor.
Now wait until you reach CH2 on MN and can't get to the first checkpoint.

not really, i would say it has more extreme combat but ng blacks uses the enviroment/wallrun better during combat and has guard breaking as something that matters, and the enemies although fewer pose more of a threat since you cant just do obliteration tech left and right, and they do seem faster and more aggressive than the ng2 mobs
