Prey

Should I take it?

Its a very slow paced game, if that's your thing than go for it

Yes you should, probably the greatest game in the past few years

Sure, why not. Nothing wrong with stabbing yourself in the eye.

if you liked system shock, just buy it.

no its a virus

Yes. The real choice is whether or not you should get the alien neuromods

That's great and all, but I'm talking about neuromod
Don't you have to keep your eye open for 5 minutes or did I misread that.

That's how it works in-game, but for the player, it's instant cause video games.

Pick up that ultimate edition or whatever it’s called on sale. As a value package it’s a great deal since you get one single player game, a rogue like version of the single player with its own narrative, and also a multiplayer. Single Player is fun if a bit derivative and uninspired. But it’s right and well crafted so it’s still something to appreciate. And if you never played stuff like Bioshock or Dishonoured this game is definitely the best of its kind.

if zappy is your best gun, then yes, you should
you need it

you cannot progress unless you take it i think

Is the zap gun any good? I haven't put any points into it or gotten any alien neuromods but I'm up to the psycbotechnic alien and I can't beat him with anything else.

do you have the shot gun yet?try that
stealth is always an option

Yeah, the shotgun solves so much of my misery when fighting phantoms. Problem is it does jack shit to these thicc bois and I have to take him out to gain access to the main elevator. Fuck going through g.u.t.s. again.

Why did they decide to advertise neuromods with human skulls?

USSR water cooler?

try stealing and stacking turrets and stock up on food

Yeah. There is a small difference at the end if you pick up typhoon powers.

i forget to say don't depoy them
use them as walls

ussr is still around in prey universe

don't get lost in space anons

>invent a way to teach anyone any skill instantly
>have to inject it straight into your brain through your eyeball
Yeah I'll just wait until there's a pill or something
>Later skill unlocks require like 6+ neuromods
So what, I gotta shoot myself in the eye 6+ times at once to learn it or what?

>So what, I gotta shoot myself in the eye 6+ times at once to learn it or what?
you do 6+ all at once

I did ONE neuromod upgrade. FUCKING ONE. Pissed me off something feirce.

I just wanted to say because ive never told anyone, I took LSD and opened this game, my autosave was in space, and I lost my fucking mind. I felt so alone, had to close that shit it was a mindfuck.

How's the DLC

do you like timers and a hub monster?
think of MM
but with difficulty and +time things

wha?

just started playing this too

Just 100%'d the Mooncrash after the base game. The neuromod grind was kinda unnecessary imo, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, after I realized that all of the escapees share the mule operator stash.

Basically, my strategy was to:
>max out inventory slots on the engineer
>sweep the whole base of weapons, ammo, neuromods and other valuables
>repair everything in my path as I go
>recycle all the trash
>load my stuff onto the mule
>grab everything from the mule by the next character

Picking them up doesn't automatically disqualify you from the "No Needles" achievement. Only installing one does.

MM?

Really good. You have to use a more specialized toolset and work around problems instead of being fully kitted out and having a zillion options.

Is the wrench the best weapon during the whole game?
I remember playing this game for 10hours and figured out that you could infinite stun aliens with charged wrench attacks.

Majora's Mask

every thing is the best if you max it out

No, the shotgun is the best weapon by far. Pulverizes most enemies in a single shot, and ammo for it is always plentiful.
