I meant playing as. I always like playing as different characters in Tales games. Back on 360 I had a lot of fun playing as Estelle during co op, (most of the game) but would switch to Judith when I had to play solo. I’m looking to mix it up this time around.

I also meant to ask, how well does Patty fit into the story and skits/cutscenes? Is it super jarring and noticeable like she was just tracked on, or did they do a proper job weaving her into the narrative?

Tales weren't turn-based like from the very beginning, the series gimmick is (bland) real-time combat.

Evenicle has the senran kagura artist. I think you can figure the rest out.

This is pretty accurate. It's a more vanilla rance but it still has some darker themes at times compared to non-porn games.
Also user forgot later on There's vore and monster rape on preg. but for 90% of the game it is pretty vanilla with a tit focus but you should expect that with the artist.

Although I recommend it if you want a lighter-hearted rance-lite game if you aren't bothered by it not being relatively easy.

Finished Mary Skelter. I kinda hoped the plot wouldn't shit the bed in the end, but what was I expecting? Of course the Jail could only be an ayy in the end.

Agarest Series then. Nice waifu selections but a gameplay that will test your patience. The first one took me over 500 hours to complete, absolute ballers if you can go until the true end. Oh yeah, I actually get the harem ending of Conception 2, Wake saying the tagline of Conception 1 was nice.

Funny you started at Zero, the prequel of 1. You should have an idea what it should be if you played the digest version on Zero, except the Soul Breed system is possible there. If you don't then basically there are 5 generations before you get to the final boss so choosing your waifu will get complicated if you cansider stats and willpower inherited, but I don't think you need to mind it much, just do what you did in Zero. I recommend the wiki for the true end guide though, its a bit confusing this time unlike Zero.
Conception 1, I didn't played yet since its on nip (rip translations) but it has more waifus than 2, based on zodiac. Although unlike 2, you can't bring your waifu in the dungeon. Theres Conception Plus, an updated version which is being localized so you can wait for it.

First battle network is pretty much the "worst" of the one so get ready to enjoy the sequels.
