just got a windows tablet device with its own pen as i was testing it out i noticed that i cant man straight lines it is always wavey this is the fault of the programm or is there a setting in windows ink for it?
Oh, he's using lasso selection tool so he can just use fill bucket to cover large areas with flat colours or prevent "bleeding" color over the lines. You can also use a normal bursh iwth a larger radius to color along the edges of the areas yourself and just use bucket when you close that area. Yes, there's pen stabilisation/smoothing that uses algorithms to make the lines smoother. There should be a setting for it in your drawing program. what are you usig to draw?

Could be a lot of things, driver issues with your display or pen software are an easy culprit to fix. You could also be thinking of a stabilizer, which not all paint programs have by default.

Sounds like you need to learn to use layers my man. (that window on the bottom right)
Think of them like transparent sheets layed out on top of each other, everything you draw on one will remain separate entity from other layers. Seems weird at first, but can be used to pretty much change any part of the piece easily if you're organised properly.
For example, in you're pic. the guy has put the black line art on top of the stack, so everything else will pass underneath the line art. he put a sold color on the bottom so it's not transparent Then he's just putting blocks of color on separate layers in between so they go over the background, and underneath the line art.
You should probably just watch any of the thousands of videos on youtube explaining how to digital art.
I don't think that has line stabilisation, sorry user. There's proably some wrapper third party software that can fix that. I think Lazy Nezumi should work, if you can find somewhere to pirate it.

You need at least some kind of stabilizer unless the drivers on your tablet and compatibility with your drawing software are absolutely amazing. Your lines are going to be scratchy and pixely if you don't and it has nothing to do with skill.

It's wavy/wobbly because the surface of drawing tablet is smooth unlike paper that has rough surfice To fix that, either use stabilzier from drawing program, or practice your stroke

Photoshop, SAI and Clip Studio Paint are the most common ones. Photoshop didn't have pen stabilisation until CC2018, I think but last good version of Photoshop was CS6 which doesn't have it. People often use SAI1 which is lighteweight, easy to find and pirate but kind of limited and quite outdated with some features (like proper transform settings and no text tools at all). SAI2 is much better but it's harder to get a hold of a good copy. I'd personally advise stick to Clip Studio, you won't regret it. If you're using Trial version, it goes on sale for $25 auite often and it's one time payment so it's worth it. It's similar to Photoshop but brush settings are much more intuitive and it was made with art in mind unlike Photoshop which was made with photo editing in mind. CSP has a ton of great features so be sure to play with them.
Do not listen to this guy. Stabilisers are good in moderation. If your tablet is outputting raw info that looks like THAT you certainly need some stabilisation for your tablet. I personally find it difficult to use high stabilisation levels because it's literally trying to make your lines as straight as possible.

What even is your argument? Nobody here said that you can't learn to draw in MS Paint using no stabilisation and the default pencil tool. You don't even need a tablet, there's some artists even in these threads who draw with a mouse only. Why are you trying to convince the newbie to make it harder on themselves? People will just quit sooner when they see no improvement because they're spending more time hassling with a program with annoying settings that can't even save a jpeg without awful artifacing than they are drawing. Even coloring within the lines in MS Paint is a chore and picking colors from its extended color palettes isn't easy at all for someone who's just starting and doesn't know anything about color theory. To add to all this, some tablets and tablet driver versions just aren't that great. My tablet can't produce a properly straight line even if I tape a physical ruler on to it and pull a line along it.

To keep it interesting, instead of one group shot at the pool, he's doing different pictures in a Summer Scrapbook, to show off different scenes. He's already worked out a few ideas, but please include suggestions!
Any specific character interactions are up to the artists, but if you draw your character(s) a certain way and want them in the water or in a certain scene when things are more concrete, please specify in your submission.
