>warrior class
>abilities cost health instead of mana
Warrior class
>warrior class
>pulls 6 more powers out of his ass
RIVAL PLEASE PISS ON MY FACE AND FUCK MY GF
Little dumbass using 100% on himself all the time.
>warrior class
>is just the boring class
>warrior class
>abilities turn your fingers into raisins
>warrior class
>can use kicks
>Warrior class
>Is a virgin
>Character has been inflicted with LUST status effect
>This LITERALLY only happens in one game (Persona 5)
Dropped this shounen trash a while ago. Has it gotten any better recently?
"Charm" or "attract" are basically the same thing
> Warrior Class
> Gets bodied by ranged class because he can't get near them before getting most of his health blasted
I dropped it when All Might lost his powers and never looked back. Seemed like a good point to stop watching when this is one of those stories with no end in sight.
>Mage spends all his MP on one attack
Kinda weird how he went from a finger snap shattering concrete and causing tidal waves to straight up kicking people in the face with metal boots and they not instantly explode into gore clouds.
>warrior class
>is just a ranged class with melee animations
its more brutal then berserk
>warrior
>melee attack
>strong melee attack
>melee attack that hits same target fast X times
>aoe melee attack
>kick
>holy warrior class
>gets extra powers by being a virgin
>you can take away the extra powers from enemy holy warriors
O MY
Stop trying to get this poor user to read a billion flashbacks just for some cheap gore.
did you miss the part where he stopped using all his power
also its shonen dog
this show is so generic and piss ass boring
>warrior class
>gets outscaled by wizards and mages
>melee class
>outdamages every class in the game with a weapon they’re only moderately proficient in
see you next week when shigy strugles tying his shoes without destroying them
He's kind of holding back a bit but also it's a Shounen.
You know the kind of shit where fuckers get thrown through buildings and they just act like they took a particularly hard punch?
>he doesn't know about stance dancing
Same
The 7 quirks just confirmed it for me
Goofy's strong as fuck. Shoves with his shield and sends him flying 20ft in the air
The one thing I don't like about MHA is it suffers from "Marvel syndrome" where everyone who doesn't have super strength is basically peak human physique, which excuses them getting slammed into walls with little injury and having lightning speed reflexes.
>Lust status effect
>same shit as any stunned status
kek
goofy needs to be tough have you not seen the niggers going to toon town anymore?
>"Donald, don't!"
So either Goofy has been told about how much Zettaflare drains Donald or he's seen him use it before.
>class is based around switching between different stances to use different skills
>after update each spec is based around staying in the same stance at all times
>Fighter Class
>Ultimate ability deletes your mana bar for the rest of the save
They specifically stated this is how OFA worked in the second episode. Anyone who wasn't asking where they were is silly.
They stated that it's a quirk that "accumulates power". We never see All Might use any other quirks so it was implied that the accumulated "power" was just raw strength.
Actually, that brings up a great point. Why hasn't All Might used the other quirks before?
you are a retard
Yes it's called a misdirection and a plot twist.
speed readers
Because Deku is the chosen one.
Because then All Might would be the MC.
>why isn't Alex Mercer just a random soldier
Because the author pulled these powers out of his ass, duh
You can't say it was clearly stated and call it a twist at the same time.
>one statement that can be interpreted in tons of different ways makes it okay for the shonen hero who already had greatness thrust upon him obtain an assload of new overpowered abilities
>but they're locked away inside him so that they'll be able to manifest conveniently when the hero's in a pinch
>meanwhile characters like Leg Engine Man and Grape Rapist are now 100% irrelevant instead of 90% irrelevant
Bravely Default had a boss with the unique ability to make characters fall in love with each. It would like make them attack others that healed the one they loved and die if the one they loved died too
>berserker class
>ability kills restore health
USE THAT WHIP, IF YOU'RE SO GREAT
>Class Menu literally says used right this is the best Class
>Class Menu heavily implies there's more to the class than meets the eye
I originally thought it was going to be because he was spiritually wrong for the true power so he just got to be fuckstrong while the Force Ghosts couldn't talk to him, but apparently it just plain wasn't ready until Deku's generation. Though it did talk to Nana atleast once.
Leg Engine Man got a power up that very arc, and the new power was in a pretty low stakes scenario and he can't even use it. It was basically just to clarify that this is going to be happening but the power up isn't really there yet.
>Op class
>Abilities make me cringe instead of enjoying the thread
Why are you so easily baited?
>berserker class
>has permanent berserk status effect that makes him attack both friends and foes with buffed attack
OH
>people are still surprised when a shounen pulls power out of his ass
It's been over two fucking decades. Just learn already.
>granado espada
My dude.
That said, wasn't the meta for that game being ranged AP?
retards want to be mad as cry asspull at anything
>Seething status effect
>Affected user is forced to click on a thread in the catalog that contains content he dislikes just to talk about how upset he is about that content
>but apparently it just plain wasn't ready until Deku's generation.
That screams "we pulled this out of our ass and have no way to explain it".
i dont understand this shit meme. Where does deku get 6 new fucking powers in the manga or anywhere? Does it happen after gentle because that's where i left off
no, you smooth brain. its poor writing. a plot twist is only good when, in hindsight, things make sense and it doesn't appear out of nowhere.
>b-but it does make sense in hindsight!!!
why didn't all might have this ability? why wasn't he informed? its dogshit writing because he realized he can't have deku punch shit for the next 10 years, it'll get stale
He been found a way around that, user.
He literally just starts unlocking the quirks of the previous OfA users.
Stockpiling strength != stockpiling different superpowers
I like MHA but even I think this is fucking retarded. The person with the strongest quirk in the world shouldn't need 7 other quirks
I mean Hori at the very least had the force ghosts and All Might's inability to connect with them from the Sports Festival arc.
So worst case he had a vague idea that he wanted the power to evolve.
And ultimately it's not that big of an asspull given that it's similar to AfOs powers.
The next arc or so when they fight 1-B.
Why not? He's going to fight a dude that has Dozens of other quirks themselves.
If you insist.
i definitely remember one for all being 2 different quirks, the quirk to accumulate power and the quirk to give quirks to others. it makes sense that they would be able to transfer quirks down the line
>but apparently it just plain wasn't ready until Deku's generation.
this is total shit writing though
It's guaranteed going to involve what Eri did to him during the Chisaki fight.
I agree actually but only because my fan theory doesn't work and I thought it'd be tonally appropriate.
Soo each ofa user had a different quirk each time?
What chapter does gentle happen? Im gom a catch up
>Soo each ofa user had a different quirk each time?
Yes, except for All Might.
All might probably had a lot of quirks and only used one because it was the only one he trained, so all the other ones were weak as fuck compared to his strength, it's the only shit explanation I can make, it still doesn't explain why those are not even mentioned, it reeks of asspull
Kingdom Hearts is like a fucking fever dream. It only gets weirder the further it goes on, too.
>Mage who had the potential to become one of the most powerful witches in the world is overconfident and gets raped and killed by low level mobs
Maybe him getting punched in the kidney by big bad steal quirk man real bad had something to do with him not being able to use them.
I watched the whole show last year and me and my brother both thought this is exactly what was meant so this "twist" or "asspull" was not a surprise at all. The show was pretty blatant about how OFA worked and anyone not seeing this coming eventually probably wasn't paying attention or merely forget they already covered this.
I think what happened is when you watch/read it week by week you forget little details like this but if you watch it all at once you remember it because it's till fresh in your mind.
Nice "videogame"
Fuck off with your dogshit anime.
man this anime was retarded
School Festival Arc starts at 169 though where did you drop off?
New quirk comes in the Joint training arc that starts in 194.
Wouldn't that just make them a FF Dark Knight?
He has to hold back so he doesn’t pulp every bone in his body. He’s done it so much that he’s incurred numerous scars and permanent damage. Even the resident healer told him to stop being a dumb nigger and said in no uncertain terms that she would stop healing his dumb ass if he continued. All Might was able to use his power right out of the gate because he’s a Chad representative of silver age comics. Izuku Midoriya is a faggot.
So it's like every anime ever made
It's more like a 200k word fanfic with a billion fetish tags.
The in-universe explanation implies he never needed anything else since he so easily mastered the base Strength/Toughness thing and never applied himself further concerning the quirk's depth. Deku's additional powers are manifesting because even though he's getting a handle on the strength powerup, he still needs more to perform to the best of his ability.
>Possession
>Selfcest
>Corruption
>Old man
>NTR
>Size Difference
>Choking
>Transformation
The Last Sovereign
Hot.
Is this a thing in Rance?
no just that one and its retard world
>class that everyone thinks is ass actually performs well when used right
More importantly
>gap closer
All might prequel would be fun
>making an intentionally shocking and graphic introduction to establish your fantasy world as a dark and serious place with real repercussions to subvert expectations
>rest of the series is generic anime fantasy schlock outside of two or three scenes
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING
Wheres that post that talked about how Donald is the most OP character because flare is only reserved for the most powerful mages in FF and Donald is the only character to know Zettaflare. Not to mention flare originally being called nuke in earlier games
It would basically be an 80s shonen piece. it’s exactly what I wanted ever since All Might appeared
But all the consumables you need to chain just to be viable.
>spiderman comes out
>dude takes a whole week hiatsus to play that game
>suddenly deku has a spiderman like power
Fuck that
is the true? why do the big shounen comics like to do this.
>Bleach had Ichigo become a super reaper hollow quincy fullbringer
>Naruto had all the special powers from the strongest ninja families
because they cant write for shit and it appeals to the target audience
Because it would be boring to see deku slowly growing up and mastering his one for all. So the creator decided to give him more powers to make up for that. No but honestly it is pretty retarded, he does not know how to even use OFL on like 10% power without breaking his bones but he sure needs +6 more quirks to learn
That's right, put it down because it hurt you.
The entire point is the MC who cuts a path through the typical fantasy bullshit with ingenuity. If it wasn't a generic fantasy setting, there goes the entire point.
So we can all agree that The Crawler is the better MC right?
I stopped reading at the end of the chisaki arc when they started with the dumbass joker parody. Didn't really hate it or anything, just didn't feel like reading it anymore. Did it get better or worse?
All the adult cast as young dumbasses would be plenty good and incidentally I want that more than anything out of the series
Except maybe a THICC CHICC
name ONE game
Didnt this happen in the movie or something? At least young all might from what i saw based on previews
>Class has insanely overpowered skill
>Level requirement is so high the game's almost over when you get it
>Bleach
Lmao
it stays as boring as it was when you left off
The Cruller can be a pretty good MC, yeah. It helps that he genuinely starts from the bottom whereas Deku got an open door to make his way to the top.
Deku started off as no quirk loser and worked hard just to get to the starting line. it devalues his origin when quirks get rained on him to make him some OC donut steal multi quirk man
This is his true quincy form
I like Cruller, but he's a generic dopey, oblivious MC. Deku may get more hate, but at least he didn't draw the short straw in having a personality.
I don't know, Dragon Ball was retarded about it but at least it was just Super Saiyan not every other power up the ass.
Based
>every one of the cast is revamped back to a younger look
>all might still 6'5" and built like a truck, no-one comments on this
>flashback one episode to even earlier, he's exactly the same but in a propeller beanie while in elementary school
Oh right this thread reminded me that the new season is slowly comming out. Will normies be upset about magne being killed? Will they call the creator tranny phobic? After all Magne gets killed off right away after revealing that she is a tranny and is also the very first character to die in this serie
Ichigo gping hollow was goat
Deku's struggles were mastering his newfound power. Not having a shit power that keeps having new aspects. He didn't just get the best power and suddenly be the best. The early arcs of MHA are great because it's still a struggle for him.
>Class IS a insanely overpowered skill
>Level requirement is not reachable within the game's own rules and legitimately requires cheating
>Soo each ofa user had a different quirk each time?
Assuming they had a quirk already OfA combined with that and bolstered it.
>propeller beanie All Might
The death was really shocking.
I haven't watched any of the modern pokemon anime, what's going on here? Is there actually romance?
The only villains worth a damn in that league are Double and Toga.
Deku's got a good personality for sure, the only reason you really could hate him is how he gets OFA's quirks rained down on him whenever he needs them. Koichi may be about as deep as a kiddie pool but he doesn't get that treatment and anything he adds to what he does is something he learns he can do with the quirk he has.
XY anime had a lot of potential but it got Blast Burn'd
I was wondering what you meant but that's a big spoiler bro, I should know better than to open anime threads on Yea Forums
Correction
>Naruto was a direct descendant of space demons who branched out into the strongest ninja families
If Koichi grows as a character, I think Vigilantes will improve significantly. We know he's a good guy, but he hasn't had any meaningful personal struggles. The character development seems to be relegated to the Master. At least whenever he shows up shit gets good.
Hence why it's a door. Deku got a powerful, ever evolving quirk he has to gain a handle on but because its power is somewhat vague it means if he needs a new quirk, he probably can use it through OFA. I liked the early arcs too as well as the movie but you can't contest that he hasn't gotten a lot of advantage and ground due to OFA's convenient latent abilties
well Goku did pick up techniques from other people
>kamehameha
>spirit bomb
>solar flare
>flying
>instant transmission
its just his natural saiyan powercreep overshadowed all that and later fights were just unnamed ki blasts and shit
>one of them is just a literal turtle
>part of their disguise is blending in to regular society despite taking on terrorist ops, ergo having costumes
>the ninja turtle just wears a bandana over his eyes, and people totally forget who it is
>there's no way he's the same guy!
Like all of them have an alibi but this fucking Donatello knockoff over here.
That said he seems like the one who's gonna betray them to help Deku, so
the one for all power is basically the power to transfer powers onto someone else. each generation's powers are passed on each time.
Considering how people are these days I would say yes, also there a track record about the creator being harassed by twitter + death threats over
>Bathroom scene - people cried that they are underage and enabling pedo stuff
>Him drawing a sketch of girls in bikinies - people cried that they are underage and enabling pedo stuff
>Endeavor getting a redemption arch - he was a bad dad once so there for he does not deserve to be forgiven and is supposed to be a villian
Overall im sure that there will be some outrage
It's best to end Dragon Ball with the Buu arc and go no further.
>dude shows up to fight Za Warudo with nothing but a sniper rifle, C4 and a speaker
Knuckle Duster is too good
Well Goku had to be taught the Spirit Bomb by King Kai, he's actually the only person who can even use it
and the Yardratians taught him how to use Instant Transmission, which is why Vegeta's taking a road trip there now
Vegeta blowing himself up to kill Buu would have been the best way to end it.
Any games where status effects/debuffs matters on bosses? I'm fucking sick of Kiseki bosses being immune to everything.
That's probably the hardest thing for Koichi, he has no real ties to most things on a personal level. Most of the significant character arcs so far have needed some reason to fight, hell by the end of CC's arc he changed a lot while we're also learning more and more about Knuckleduster's ties to everything and his past. So the biggest issue with Koichi really is that he's basically Vaan from FFXII in terms of relevance to everything going on, he's just there and does stuff when he is there.
Considering he's the Stain fanboy, and he believes Stain recognized Deku, yeah. That seems really likely. I feel like Double and Toga could go rogue too though. Toga seems to be fed up with Shigaraki's "I'm gonna destroy it all!" bullshit. And Double seems to be a morally (though misguided) motivated character. And the two of them are way tighter than the rest of the league.
I think you might be retarded.
Unironically FFXIII
Dragon Ball GT and Super were garbage, why even bring the series back, it was already getting out of hand with the Buu arc.
>Tank class
>Can't attack
SMT and Dragon Quest
It was also stated that giving OFA on someone with quirk will kill hoster.
Thats why at least Fallout guy got cockblocked.
O MY
Super being garbage aside, BoG was pretty damn good
Say what you will about the Buu arc, but it was interesting. It had a lot of build ups with no payoff though. Wow, nice fusion Gotenks. Nice "Mystic" powerup Gohan.
fpbp
All Might's master had a quirk, what the fuck are you talking about? We didn't even know All Might was originally quirkless until much later
Cell Saga was a better ending.
> All Might's master had a quirk
It wasn't stated at all at least before yakuza ark.
> We didn't even know All Might was originally quirkless until much later
He literally said in early chapters "actually i was quirklet too"
I agree
its been the goku show ever since the nips complained about Gohan taking up the position of the strongest, back during cell saga.
It doesn't inherently kill the host, All Might just got fucked up hard and the previous users were being hunted by the fucking Devil on Earth.
I've just watched that, and I think that fight made it worth bearing through the series. It was top kino. I have a feeling i should drop it now too
>it was already getting out of hand with the Buu arc.
user, it was getting out of hand from the Saiyan saga.
This was DBZ's biggest failing, especially later on. Absolutely no spreading the love around. Only Goku is allowed to fight. Everyone else must job.
>It was also stated that giving OFA on someone with quirk will kill hoster
No it wasn't otherwise Togata wouldn't have been considered at all.
Still the best shounen. Even if the final arc sucked donkey balls.
A lot of it comes down to miraculously having a shounen protagonist that isn't an annoying waste of space.
What manga
>It was also stated that giving OFA on someone with quirk will kill hoster.
It was never ever said that. AM just happened to be quirkless before he inherited.
Yusuke is baller as fuck, gets the girl, isn't zainy child MC but a street thug turned detective making the best combination ever.
Boku no Pico Academia
The manga has been in a league of villains arc for a while now, with the 3 most recent chapters being shiggy flashbacks like posted. It's been okay. Of course, yet another criminal organization had come up. I'm worried that BnHA is going to end up being closest to Bleach in this image in terms of plot.
Who cares about plot inconsistencies when all that matters is best girl Mina.
There's literally nothing wrong with this.
Even in games.
Why would you want to read about/play some bland useless fucko who has no special powers?
>you will never be melted into mush while she rides on top of you
Yu Yu Hakusho should be one of the greatest, and it has moments... but...
>Japanese Delinquent theme immediately shelved
>Kuwabara almost never allowed to be great
>"This demon realm stuff is neat, I wonder if they're going to explore and..."
>suddenly tournaments, tournaments, tournaments
>best girl Botan sidelined for generic girlfriend
the movie features maybe 5 minutes of young All Might. those 10 minutes are good but the kids are the focus of the movie
Even though that wouldn't happen because she can control her acidity, it'd still be worth it.
That and all the MCs got to contribute, very rarely, if ever, did you get the feeling that Yusuke could have done everyone's else's job.
legitimately corporate interference.
Tension is an important part of a compelling conflict. If the protagonist has a trend of getting a new power that solves the problem for him any time he's pushed it reduces the tension and gets boring.
>Even though that wouldn't happen because she can control her acidity
Her doing it intentionally is what makes it hot.
Togashi is best described as inconsistent, especially with HxH. He just kind of swings between some of the best arcs and moments in manga only to swing back to boring, forgettable garbage. He's up and down and all over the place.
Reminder that all BNH girls are best girl, but Mina is first among equals.
>MC doesn't die because he's the MC
>player doesn't die because you need to finish the game
I don't see where tension is needed. From the start of it I know I'm in for the story of the winner, or even in dramatic media the story of the one who makes it to the end.
I mean did you really at any point in the Matrix think Neo was going to die?
>This and Bleach
>Think Ghost Adventures with cute feisty handler would be great
>Well enjoy these tournament arcs
>Well now we're back and Yurameshi is the strongest fucker on Earth how do we add some challenge here? Introduce Stands
>Just kidding. He's just going to fight a crazy gay version of himself
>Enjoy these tournament arcs
O MY POWER NAP
What makes Yusuke great isn't just that he subtly changes and matures over the series (lots of series even with bad character writing remember to have the MC miraculously undergo a shift) but that Yusuke is somewhat self aware about the fact that he's a real punkass troublemaker. He knows who he is and that he's not the best guy in the world.
Most other shounen protags are primarily just defined by some goal and their autistic obsession with it that impresses everyone around them. Yusuke doesn't even have a goal most of the time besides just living and being tough when needed.
There's a difference between "I know the hero will probably live" and "I know the hero will pull something out of his ass to win this ezpz"
I don't remember that one at all. Who was it? or was it one of the bosses in norende? never bothered much with those.
Name me the last game you played in which you thought the protagonist was going to lose in any capacity.
I'm waiting.
>1st of December
To simply put All Might was a good natured simpleton that began as quirkless. Strength was all he ever needed.
Wet dream.
Pretty much this, when I first read Hero academia and saw the large numbers of support characters I assumed that most of them will die as the story goes on while they fight the villians but nah, they just get injured maybe but will be ok after a day. Its like this for the most part right now
Student training > some sort of student vs student event > villian attack >repeat
Villians here are just like team rocket, they show up every week but never do anything.
Because he's dumb as a bag of bricks and only thinks of punch; why bother seeking out new powers when you could just punch dudes harder?
Deku is gay
Is Zetaflare a really high tier attack in FF? Has Donald not been able to use it prior to this? Did the other guy get vaporized?
Good thing he wasn't thinking about Ochako in the tub.
In a game it's you in control and in a good game you should stand a good chance of losing. While you get to retry as much as you want you shouldn't be able to just snap your fingers and win.
Nigger, its been Goku show from day one. Do Americans don't know shit started before Z?
Mass Effect 2 but only because I literally heard Shepard dies somewhere in there and Cerebus has cloning tech or some gay shit.
But you missed my point entirely.
based non bald multiple punch man. Also his punches have cool names.
