it's a shame that bf3 onwards it became ace combat tier but without the good soundtrack that made ace combat tolerable

I actually don't see that as a big deal. The US military was heavily involved with the original Top Gun where they snipped and clipped every little thing until they looked as good as possible. They had recruiters right outside of theaters because of that shit, tryin to catch whatever sap they could walkin out of there on a high from the movie.

For all its faults, dogfighting in the downtown area is the best casual jet fighting game out there.

See if H.A.W.X. 2 is on there , that has a really cool "intentional stalling" mechanic that adds another layer to flight.
