The Tribunal Expansion fucking sucks

Mournhold is empty and small when its supposed to be the biggest city in morrowind. Story is terrible, its just boring dungeon crawling. The main game is great but this is a terrible expansion. You dont even get to bang your goddess wife from a past life because shes on the rag

Yeah it sucks and morrowind has no good dungeons.

yeah man

It added cool armor and weapons and clockwork city was cool, too. I do, however, agree that any parts that involve the sewers are god-awful.

>It added cool armor
... that you couldn't use because medium armor is worthless

medium armoris good for increasing endurance

On the subject of tribunal, is it intentional that the assassins drop high-grade light armor that you can use or sell?

it would make sense if the assassins only showed up after you beat the main quest, but bethesda didnt think ahead when they made the expansion

Hmm, can you actually play the expansion pack before doing the main quest?

Well... to be fair, Morrowind doesn't really have a balanced difficulty curve to begin with. Once you know the game it's not difficult to make OP characters and even when you don't know the game it's easy as shit to bumble fuck into daedric artifacts accidentally.

What's the meta? Go to Caldera, steal the Alchemy set, do the potion loop until you're rich af, then train all skills to level up while making sure to optimize for +5's?

its fun being overpowered though, having super speed and flying everywhere while raining death on cities is awesome

Yes just like Oblivion and Skyrim they're open from the start

Yes Assassins come at Lv1

Then how does the story make sense if you're not even the Nerevarine (and your character probably doesn't even know yet wtf is that)?

that's cause you did it wrong

King Helseth has informants close to the Emperor. They told him about the random prisoner being sent to Morrowind, copied the contents of the package to Caius, cracked the code, and then Helseth took action. Even though you're a nobody, you're a possibly threat if the Emperor takes that much interest in you.

thats a big map

Pfft. Not even. Just grab the sword of white woe in Balmora or, even better, find the ebony deposit down the river and tell that Hlaalu perv in Vivic, what's his name, about it so he gives you a Daedric weapon of your choice. Stock up on Sujamma and you'll one-hit 90% of all enemies in the game. Then go grab the savior's hide or the Lord's mail, depending on what armor type you chose. Mentor's ring is also easy as shit to get and it's right outside of Seyda Neen if you're going to do magic. Additionally, if you're not running a mod that disables it, the fact that enchanted items insta-cast with no cool down makes the right ones tremendously OP.

I played the expansion literally 10+ years ago but IIRC Almalexia is supposed to recognize you as the Nerevarine and give you Nerevar's sword etc.

for you

Some say it's small enough to fit on Almalexia's mantle.

All true, Bloodmoon was infinitely better. Elder Scrolls is fun when you're exploring, not slogging through layers 1-10 of sewers.

Also didn't help that the quest chain often was ambiguous where to to next

Bloodmoon had way too many encounters though. Made it a bitch to explore the island.

Some say Almalexia has it as a nipple piercing

wouldnt it be nice if you could have made up with almalexia and remarried and had a nice big family and lived happily ever after haha

She was crazy as shit and never loved Nerevar, she goes more for nine foot tall cyborgs who can clone themselves and have clockwork penises.

bloodmoon is worse. it fucking sucks and i hate it.

You honestly should disable it until you're done with the main quest.

dont disable it, youll lose the improved journal. juust get a dark brotherhood delayed mod

The improved journal and other QoL stuff (like the enemy health bar) was part of the engine upgrade. You literally can't disable those in any modern digital re-release.

For a minute.
