Is silver the rarest material in TLoZ's world or what's its deal? How come they never use it against Ganon anymore when it's the only thing that can actually kill him?
>inb4 Light Arrows The Light Arrows stun and damage Ganon, like the Master Sword, but they can't kill him when he has the Triforce of Power, only the silver arrows can.
You're an idiot. The answer is 'bad writing' or they just didn't care or 'it's for children'. You autistic fucktards need a goddamn world-building grimoire for every game.
Adrian Brooks
You are a literal retard. We know it's bad writting, that doesn't mean we don't want an actual explanation to fix it
Leo Thompson
Silver has a very long history of being able to defeat monsters in folklore. It was the REAL special item in LoZ since the idea of the Master Sword didn’t exist yet. LttP was basically a reimagining of LoZ on better hardware so it included the idea of the silver arrows being the key to killing Gannon, but Miyamoto decided to throw some King Arthur into the mix by making the sword special. They can’t BOTH kill Gannon, so instead, the sword just stuns him and the arrow kills. OoT realized that the Master Sword is cooler than the special arrows, so it was now given the job of killing while the arrows do the stunning. Blah blah barf blah...
Never take Zelda lore seriously. It’s a hot mess.
Wyatt Robinson
What the fuck is "writting"? Is it like writing? Are you retarded? You don't deserve an explanation.
Andrew Gutierrez
>so it was now given the job of killing while the arrows do the stunning Except the sword is still unable to kill Ganon
Grayson Anderson
Defeat. Whatever. You knew what I meant. Don’t take Zelda lore seriously. It’s a hot mess.
James Bennett
I know what you mean but the point remains. The modern super sacred arrows and the sacred sword can damage Ganon now but only the old plain silver arrows were able to kill him, it's fucking ridiculous
I think it has something to do with silver's antimicrobial properties. essentially, the kid raised eating from the silver spoon was slightly healthier due to the lack of germs on their eatery.
Adrian White
>See thread >Get excited >Ends up being shit flung back and fourth Darn.
>wants a better thread >does nothing to improve it Sasuga
John Bennett
Killing stuff is not child friendly so they ignore that part.
Jordan Cruz
Might as well. But late night on a Summer Friday? Really fucking hard to do. I feel as though the sword would win over the Silver Arrows because, even though the Silver Arrows are more effective when it came to killing Ganondorf, not only was the highest sword upgrade backed by the statistically best stats of all time, but also generally used for more than just a reincarnating mass of power and rage. Silver Arrow, no way that sword will beat killing Ganon with one fucking arrow. But everything else, yes.
Wouldn't they be less healthy since their immune system wouldn't develop as well as the kid who ate the germs?
Jaxson Jones
Obviously it's because Link in LOZ1 used the power of the Triforce of Wisdom to find Ganon's vital weakpoint after disrupting his defensive spells. Since even other games with silver arrows; Ganon still swings around after getting hit with them just like Light arrows and any "Ultimate Evil Slaying Sword".
Juan Richardson
That's not how it works
Blake Jenkins
Then how does it work? Just accepting Ganon's a bitch in LOZ1?
LttP's master sword actually can kill Ganon. It just takes many many hits with precise timing before he finally goes down so most people think you need silvers.
