What happened is Masterz accused me of defending an "alt right nazi" who (((allegedly))) made threats to some Halo YouTubers (LNG? Don't know or care) girlfriend. You're constantly asked to know which encounters are coming and have a specific weapon for each scenario, or die over and over again. I was legitimately considering uninstalling until I found out about Spartan Charge, now I want to try using sprint with a Jackal Shield in every level, since you can use it to OHKO Honor Guards.

ignore that error. you dont even need to extract the maps from the tar file, but it gets rid of an annoying prompt. open the batch file and copy the commands to build each individual map.

I only heard about this mod with SPV3.1 so I'm not sure how much has changed, but their changes to the flood are terrible. They added jackle flood forms, which are super annoying. And pretty much EVERYTHING carries infection forms now, it's absolutely ridiculous. They made them more bullet spongey too.

My favourite part about all that drama was how he had such a huge gripe about ElDewrito being "stolen assets" but the entire time was creating an ODST lovestory politicizing the Halo franchise using assets stolen from Halo Online & Stubbs the Zombie.

I think what I said about the weapons is that many of them felt useless and wholly outclassed by the BR, much like the later Halo games. As for the aesthetic, they tried to make the game grittier and more detailed than the engine could reasonably represent and it ended up looking like ass.

Come to think, neither of those complaints have really changed with SPV3. It's the same shit with a new coat of paint.

Look up "Banished", it's a canned project by CMT. The game "Stubbs the Zombie" ran on a heavily modified version of the Blam engine Bungie made for Halo CE. Banished was using the world from Stubbs the Zombie and a ton of assets ripped from various leaked Halo Online builds.

in terms of the campaign missions,people often argue that CE has "less linear" levels then 2, but The only non-linear level in CE is mission 2, which just plops 3 playspaces around the map and then has a giant, empty ass field with nothing in it between the 3. All that's gained from it's nonlinearity is which order you do each objective, wheras what you give up having any sort of good level design overall.

Beyond that, what people mean is that CE ostensibly has more large combat spaces then 2 does, but 2 has just as many and most are just as big, the only difference is 2 actually has buildings, trees, cliffs, rocks, and other structures inside those spaces to make the level design interesting, wheras in CE they are all mostly empty: which is bad since due to the geometry is always the same, the way you approach encounters is the same/doesn't matter, vs 2's more differing layouts and geometry means different encounters. And nearly all of CE's campaign suffers from the same copy pasted repetitive corridor shit for indoor spaces that the malgined arbiter levels do in 2.

The "bad arbiter/flood missions" are bad due to the same flaws nearly all of CE's campaign suffers from: Copy pasted interior corridors, low weapon and enemy variety, etc.

By making the DMR so precise it's pointless in close quarters unless you have godtier aim.

By making the BR a perfect jack of all trades weapon.

By making the carbine use a battery instead of actual ammunition so you cant actually keep it for an effective amount of time and every single one you pick up is missing anywhere from 10-40 percent of it's ammo.

By making a retard rifle.

Read the error right above it. You have to store the data into a custom bitmaps and sounds.map. Type "help build-cache-file-ex" and it will tell you what each 0 or 1 argument does
