Yes. Normal mode has a very gentle difficulty curve for newer players, and hard mode actually feels like a fire emblem game

Arlo is a goddamned manchild who thinks Mario Odyssey is some flawless masterpiece and that Breath of the Wild is the pinnacle of gaming itself. Anyone who's actually tried anything other than Nintendo games knows that yes, these are good games but there's been all sorts of more creative games out there in terms of gameplay depth and storytelling that match if not surpass these games. It's to be expected that a game with actual depth, storytelling, worldbuilding and true freedom of choice to the player would go over this manchild's head.
