Fitgirl repacks are guaranteed to match the original game files unless indicated otherwise, which means that CODEX updates will work on them. They also are guaranteed to be fully up to date whenever possible and not missing files.

That says more about you than the repack, DESU. What game were you trying to install? What OS? What CPU? How much RAM? I've installed dozens, even hundreds of those repacks on multiple machines and never had an issue. Only thing I ever had an issue with was needing to use Win 7 compatibility mode on the installer after MS broke some shit in certain versions of Win 10.

First off RAM is horribly inefficient for mining crypto, even for the ''ones that use it''. If it was mining anything the installs would take even longer than they normally do and you could test it pretty easily. Also with how autistic the pirate scene is, the second anyone had actual proof there were miners in his releases, he would have been dead in the water years ago.
