Different game, man, it's not a console port.
New weapon, new enemy sprites, new additions to engine's lighting capabilities. Completely different set of levels. It's canonically what bridges Doom II and Doom 4 story-wise.
Better than Doom II. Or would be, if it weren't for gamepad strafing. Hence, 64 EX.

At the same time Doom 1, 2, and 3 were also only listed out as coming out for PC and PS4, but that ended up being untrue and they released for everything else. Going to assume it's also untrue for 64 . It'll be super weird seeing a game with "64" in its title released on non-nintendo platforms.

Runs at 60 FPS on Switch, at least, and looks fantastic. Those Doom 1 and 2 ports are strange though. 35 FPS is fine if you're going for the true authentic Doom 1 feel but I'd prefer 60 FPS and for the sound to be fixed
