Mothra's defeated Godzilla in all but one of the fights they've been in, and in the ones where the adult died her offspring finished the job. Plus she always resurrects through her eggs.
I will go on record as saying that KOTM really did her injustice, though, she has the least screentime of the four, her fight with Rodan was barely shown, and despite having God Rays as an attack in the lore she never used them except to part clouds.
