I actually like Persona 4 the most outta the trilogy. If you ask me it was the Jojo part 4 of the series. weird how people say part 4 is the best part in Jojo but Persona haters hated p4 the most.

They don't really turn 180, more like they look like they underwent their character development. Yosuke looks a bit more mature, Kanji no longer puts up the delinquent facade, Naoto is comfortable looking more feminine, Chie looks mostly the same, Rise let her hair down literally and metaphorically, Yukiko looks ready to do the innkeeper thing her own way instead of being a slave to tradition.

Personally I'd say wait. Atlus released a survey a while ago to gauge interested in old games being more accessible in modern consoles. So Golden might get ported. But......If you want to play it safe just buy a PSTV.

I got my PSTV for 60ish bucks like a year ago. It was a good deal. But yeah. If you're planning on getting a PSTV, you better have some plans with it than playing Golden on it. You can hack it and play every PSP, PS1, Vita and most retro systems.

All of them are canon. P4D is the last outing of the Investigation team, Moonlight takes place around October in P3 and Starlight takes place a bit after the finale of P5 but before the ending.

No, but getting a Vita is. 5 is garbage because it has to be played on a TV. PERSONA GAMES ARE INTERACTIVE DIARIES. Playing them on the big screen ruins the games.

What are you talking about? It makes sense.

It's not a deep story but the characterization is by far the strongest in the series and the characters are 90% of the plot in Persona games anyway. The story is also simple and effective unlike the total trash nonsense of 5 or an inconsistent edgy anime storyline of 3.

It's been a year and if you haven't noticed a lot has happened. They literally faced a version of themselves that was keeping them locked up inside. Of course they were going to change.

You can chose what to inherit on your personas which for me was the biggest upgrade. Also you can skip ahead through scenes faster than just holding triangle by pushing select. Which is also a big upgrade if you dont emulate and can just hold TAB to speed through dialogue.

There is also some waifu stuff for valentines and winter.

I wish they leaned more into this. Especially how it slowly got consumed by modern times. Like at first all the small shops are open, but over time they slowly close as junes is killing the competition.
