RE4 is okay, it plays like an action adventure game and less like a survival horror game.
Other than that it's a decent addition to the series and a phenomenal game standalone.

Resident Evil 4 is one of the greatest third person shooters ever made and basically defined the entire genre. It's just not a survival horror game.
RE2make is a perfect example of how to modernize the formula without abandoning its core gameplay, idk why no one figured out how to do this in 2005

Who the fuck spread this "herb and ammo conservation" shit? Even on the harder difficulties, supplies weren't the issue, just your limited inventory space because you had to carry key items to places you weren't familiar with that took up slots.
