How are these games?
What do you like about them?
Just asking because I've been thinking about buying them.

Attached: 1538703132314.jpg (1848x1500, 1.16M)

Sell your fucking switch and get a ps4. We know that you are only owning a switch because its "cool" but stop trying to fit in and get over the fad.

>We know that you are only owning a switch because its "cool"

>tells others to get a PS4

top lol

>owning a PS4 in 2019
fucking yikes user
I feel sorry for you

I own a Switch, PC and a PS4. They're all great platforms for different reasons user!

What should I get for under $10? Thinking about Metal Slug or something

Doom

Please reply

Box Boy + Box Girl

>tfw can't decide what to play next
Just finished last G rank key quest in MHGU and need a mh break. Backlog:
>Furi
>Enter the Gungeon
>DBFZ
And I have $20 eshop credit and don't know what to get.

One Strike, it's ridiculously fun

I've been playing BOTW. it's fun but it seems like I've done most of the big things. I'm on my last beast and already got the master sword. I've only done 36 shrines but they aren't very enjoyable.
Dunno. Seems shallow like I've ran through the game.

Did you do Eventide Island? That was the best quest in the base game. The Trial of the Sword DLC was my favorite thing if you include DLC.

Which one is that?
I don't have the dlc the upgrades seem pointless and it's expensive. I'm just doing sidequests that seem interesting now and trying to find the white horse.

Should I finish MUA3 or should I start FE 3 Houses ?

Cuphead.
Switch has been collecting dust for the last couple of months but my PC monitor died so it's my backup for games right now

>What are you enjoying on your Switch right now
Pic related. It's super fun (first time I've played a fanservicey game like this), but the input lag is genuinely terrible. Has anyone else noticed how laggy it is?

So I got $60 in eShop funds bros. What should I get? I've been thinking about the following:
>Super Mario Maker 2
>Astral Chain (pre-purchase)

If I got Mario Maker, I would start playing now, but I wouldn't be able to get Astral Chain because of my status as a poor nigger (the funds were a gift). If I were to get Astral Chain, the only problem would be having to wait 5 weeks before its launch, and I have no idea what would I play in the meantime beyond average Mario Kart/Splatoon/ARMS/Smash sessions and some Bayo fun. Unfortunately I don't have money for the vouchers and they seem to expire next week anyways. Thoughts?

>nearing the end of Valkyria Chronicles 4
>4 hours into Fire Emblem when I was worried I might not be able to get into it and due to overlap with VC4
>only reason I'm not playing more right now is that I have to get up earlier tomorrow for a con
>will probably play it on the bus
>might even play some Smash with folks at the con
Good shit.

I WAS going to enjoy classic Doom, but ya know, DRM shit and fucked up music.
Other than that, been having fun playing Monster Hunter GU.

>They're all great platforms for different reasons user!
based

Just run around and run into random things. The shrines are hit and miss and the beasts are pretty disappointing, but it's still a great game to just get lost in.

Mario Maker will have a lot more replay value if you're a poorfag looking for bang for buck.

Aww, be nice, user. I'm sure OP is frustrated already so why rub salt in the wound?

I hopped back into Mario Odyssey just to fuck around with those good controls and get some more moons or something

>Just got a Switch.
>Enough money left to get Mario Kart 8.
>Waiting for the next month to buy moar games.

At least tetris 99 and Mario Bros 3 are fun.

SHILL ME A GOOD CHEAP GRIP FOR PORTABLE PLAY
I have tiny hands and this shit still even hurts my hands lmao fukcing japs

Oh, interesting. I only became aware of t his because of Snoy's censorship. It looks like it plays like the Mystery Dungeon games.
I'd say both really, since Astral Chain has replayable chapters just like Bayonetta. Mario Maker has a slight upper edge due to the creation side of things.

That’s a funny way to spell Xbone

I don't have a Switch and don't plan to purchase one. Ask me anything.

Nothing because it has no games

I unironically kinda wanna buy the three Doom games on switch. Has anyone tried them out yet?

>inb4 get them on pc

Don’t have a pc

Seems odd to compare the two. Replayable chapters or the biggest neverending pool of UGC content since LittleBigPlanet with people making creative new shit all the time?

I'd take the latter.

People say they've got DRM shit in them and have fucked up music.

CTR is the best kart racer I’ve ever played

Also been playing Diablo 3 but I don’t really know what I’m doing. Still fun though

Is Hollow Knight good enough to justify a $40? I want to buy it physically

What is “DRM shit”? I don’t know a lot of technical terms.

Yeah

to justify a $40 purchase*

Thinking about picking up Doom 3, looking forward to Astral Chain and Luigis Mansion 3

Anyone playing the new Fire Emblem? How is it?

Money well spent good taste.

I'm currently tsking taking a break from being balls-deep in Fire Emblem. Great game.

lmao don't you ever sleep? Sad pathetic loser.

You have to have a bethesda account to play.

>Anyone playing the new Fire Emblem? How is it?

Honestly great. The game throws and overwhelming amount of stuff at you in the first couple of hours but its by far one of my fave games of the year so far.

I have been alternating Isaac (I'm trying to unlock the starting item for the Lost), CTRNF (I unlocked Motorsport Tawna today, I'll probably be in the top 5% so I'll stop playing until the next GP) and Splatoon 2. I want a new game and I'm conflicted between HK and MM2. I also bought Doom but I don't feel like playing it with the slowed down music.

That’s kinda dumb but is it really that big of a deal? I can just make an account real quick and be good to go right?

They're always-online and require a Bethesda account, and they're shoddy Unity remakes of the games, not worth any money.

You can, but for a 25 year old game with no online features whatsoever, it's a huge slap in the face and just screams data mining.

I’ve never played any Fire Emblem before, should I buy Three Houses ?

I wish I could be enjoying Doom right now but fucking Todd Howard saw the last 10 bucks he'll ever see from my household

just downloaded Senran Reflexions, Mahvel, Fire Emblem, and KillLaKill

fun weekend ahead

I'm only getting Doom 1 and 2 on the switch. I'll probably do Doom 3 on the PS4.

Seems good so far. Was playing Trials of Mana. Holy fuck what a ride.

So gutted that the Doom releases are totally and utterly fucked

you fucked up.
the higher battery life switch is coming in August (not the switch lite, the current switch with much greater battery life).

Also for the price of all those games you could have easily bought a hackable switch off ebay.
Basically you fucked up from both perspectives.

Attached: 1557519040705.webm (854x480, 1.01M)

so people found out, you can play the games offline
You have to log into your account once and thats it.
When creating the account, the game doesnt count that as log in.
So you have to leave then comeback and official log in, and then you can play offline

basically it's shit.
Pirates have already cracked it and the homebrew port of the games is better anyway.

Customers got fucked over for nothing yet again.

PSA ANYONE WANTING TO TRY DOOM ON ANY SYSTEM

video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/1154876639274135552/pu/vid/1280x720/Qx47fzfcg7Axmn2X.mp4?tag=10

jesus christ, fuck Bethesda

What are the chances crystal chronicles will be a valid voucher option?

How is the doom trilogy (specifically 3)? I'll grab them if they're solid.

->

Why the fuck a old ass game need this crap?

Buying a Switch when the revised model comes out but I'm gonna pre-buy some games. So far thinking of getting

>Super Mario Maker 2
>Breath of the Wild
>Mario Kart 8
>Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Anything else you would suggest? I'm not a big fighting games fan so I'm kinda on the fence on if I should get Super Smash. I wanted to try Splatoon 2 also but I don't want to spent $80 on a dead or dying game. Oh, and how is Monster Hunter Generations?

If you're not big on the Smash series or have friends to play with locally, don't get Smash. Splatoon isn't dying, it just had timed events end which were basically just reskins of the main mode which is being added to private lobbies anyway. Generations Ultimate is a nice introduction to Monster Hunter with A LOT to do, though it can get repetitive if you're not super into the gameplay. I'd also recommend Bayonneta 1&2 and Tropical Freeze.

In what place do you live for Splatoon 2 to cost $80?
Splatoon 2 will not die anytime soon, it will die when Splatoon 3 comes out (=in a couple of years)

not defending the shit unity remake but
>spic with shit internet connection

Dragon Quest Builders 2

Just got through the first part of DOOM 1. It’s fantastic minus the DRM bullshit.

>In what place do you live for Splatoon 2 to cost $80
Canada. All Switch games are $79.99. Sucks man.

Switch is region-free. You can get physical and digital games from any region.

Canada most likely.

It does blow...

Would it be ok to leave Fire Emblem for later since there will be new content? Soon also DQ XI S will be released and I'm thinking that maybe it's better if I delay Fire Emblem until Christmas or so...

Attached: 1564097548604.jpg (640x640, 55K)

This run great on handheld mode.
it's the first tales I play since Abyss and I'm really enjoying it, I wish there were more re-releases of past generation jrpg, fuck people complaining about ports.

Attached: 81ue3JUno5L._SL1500_.jpg (922x1500, 318K)

>vale
lmao, that's an extremly passive aggressive reply. Why wouldn't they have just used "Aceptar", "Entendido" or even "Ok. Saying "Vale" sounds like saying "yeah, fuck off already"

Attached: 1547736626165.png (228x250, 11K)

That's Spanish, not Latin American Spanish.

... I'm spanish myself

It'd only mean "yeah, fuck off already" if you were Mexican.

Not really. You use "vale" when you are agreeing with something, and even then sounds a bit rude, most of the time you would just use something like "me parece bien". But in this case you are acknowledging something, so you would use something else. I don't think I've ever seen a game/software using that unless it was google translated.

The Nintendo one is just ok but is dirt cheap

Based

Darkest dungeon
Crazy fun but tough

60 FPS?

i got mine a week ago and its bee great
>SMO
best game so far
>SMASH
super fun
>Doom
nice shooter but really struggles graphically and you need a pro controller to play it
>DS Remastered
probably the best handheld RPG ive ever played
>bloodstained
more like cumstained, boring and shit
>a bunch of indie games
probably most fun playing these: dead cells, minecraft and terraria

I hacked my switch so i didnt pay for any of these games, waiting until Astral-Chain NSP comes out

Attached: 1563642247169.gif (320x180, 904K)

more like asshole pain

I'm not sure about the actual framerate on the field, it's over 30 and stable enough. On battles is definitely 60 fps.
This is on handheld, I don't play on dock mode.

Recent Titles
>Fire Emblem: Three Houses
>Dragon Quest Builders 1 + 2
>Little Nightmares
>Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
>Senran Kagura: Peach Ball

Switch Waifu
>Nia from Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Attached: 1558534519106.jpg (655x1024, 93K)

Just got my switch hacked boys, feels good.

Well I WAS enjoying Doom until I saw all the bullshit. Fuck Bethesda. I can't believe they somehow fucked this gem of a game up.
I'm gonna play 3H when I get off work.

The robots that fight w/ you in Astral Chain remind me of how you interact w/ blades in XBC2 although astral chain's combat is a bit more involved.

I am looking forward to most of these (and probably a few that I didn't circle).

Attached: upcomingswitchgames.jpg (598x1200, 263K)

I've never properly played Skyrim, just put some mods on PC and dropped it after a few hours, it is worth getting the switch version for the vanilla experience?

Just beat Dragon Quest Builders 2, gonna play the postgame tomorrow and just mess around building stuff for my island

Playing Fire Emblem right now after the last week of replaying Octopath. I kinda wish the Switch had the JRPG support the 3DS had. I know there's smaller stuff and that trash series Atelier is on there but I'm wanting more quality ones on it. Was kinda hoping for that Atlus support, but SMT seems to be taking longer than I'd like.

Attached: 1564092272371.jpg (433x650, 70K)

The vanilla experience is pretty ass 2bh.

Get morrowind instead.

Which game should I get next? I'm torn between Super Mario Maker 2 or Crash Team Racing
