In general side combo enders give lots of meter, up combo enders launch for an air extension, and neutral combo enders do a quick burst of damage to avoid the enemy bursting out

also I don't get the character number complaints. its a new IP from a series that wouldn't have much character options. most new fighting games tend to start with 12ish characters, not 70whatever

It took me awhile to truly appreciate Tsumugu, and now that I do I'm equally mad. The worst part is that he's been shown fighting on-foot plenty of times throughout the series, with a variety of tools as well. All they had to do was let Tsumugu fight as he normally would, and let Aikuro fight in a Dotonbori Robo. Done, that's two more unique fighters right there, and better representation of both of them both. Sticking them both in the Double DTR was outright retarded... Also he's hot, so yeah him naked when instant-killed would have been a bonus.

I would have preferred Regular Ragyo, and then Ragyo w/ Shinra Koketsu as an alternate playable form. I get that it's meant to truly represent how eccentric she is as a person and designer, but good Lord is the The Grand Festival design awful. The only time it looked half decent was when she stole Junketsu.
And yeah there hasn't been any mention at all of Life Fibre Arms Nui. Though it would make for an excellent alternate moveset for her, as well as a great parallel to Satsuki and Ryuko's Dual-Wield styles. Hopefully it comes in later as DLC.

In-Game finishers are naked, cutscenes are clothed. The game's already M rated so I guess this is a way to prevent things from getting too explicit due to how far away the in-game finishers lob them compared to the cutscenes.

They already plan for updates down the road consideing Mako and the DTF being added as fighters, they may just be trying to figure out how to balance these for actual PVP play.
Especially considering Kisaragi Ryuko's special attacks also trigger Bloody Valor due to how that fight works.

I've gotten loading menu freezes when I use the lowest resolution, otherwise its fine. There have been lots of people that get menu crashes who bought the game. Might just be Arcsys doing a shitty port job again.

very short. they dont even give you a "save and quit" type of option to stop playing once youve started, you have to manually hold a button or pause in a battle after the many cutscenes. its very easy to just keep playing and beat it in.. idk..2 hours?

story mode 2 hours. online multiplayer infinite hours.

Took me 3 hours to beat the story mode, and that's because it tricked me and i fell for the padding.

You know Pulp Fiction where everything happens in a static timeframe but it's retold from different point of views? they try to do that here and very poorly, there is only 2 chapters, Satsuki first and Ryuko later, Ryuko's is basically 90% the same as Satsuki's with barely any new scenes and different fights.

And if you are not interested in the Story mode, though luck buddy because you need to finish it to play online, unlock characters and even training mode

I played both versions of the demo and I didnt think the switch version was *that bad...I mean noticeably worse but very playable

You have to beat Satsuki's story mode to unlock online. Have to beat almost all of Ryuko's story to unlock Nui and Ragyu. Not sure what genius decided that would be a good idea- the story just feels like a rough first draft of the original show before they developed it into what it was. Which makes their efforts to "protect" it like it's some narrative masterpiece absolutely laughable.

Pretty much every fighting game since Street Fighter II has had more alternate palettes than this.

Well if you really want to know: This entire world is a fake materialized from Junketsu reading into Satsuki's deepest desires, however this also leads to the Primordial Life Fiber taking form and absorbing life fibers from multiple timelines so when Satsuki's world reaches critical mass it ends up destroyed. Satsuki is literally invincible and unstoppable so she's locked in a stalemate with it when her mind gives out. Ryuko is an anomaly in the world and thus she can actually fight back against Satsuki, she gives Senketsu the idea to rob the life fibers off the primordial life fiber so they can absorb the fibers from other timelines to achieve Senketsu Kisaragi, strip Satsuki to wake her up and convince her to destroy the dream world. It's weird but also totally irrelevant, it basically just leads into the anime which is the weakest part of it all.

that's a pretty dull and weak ass setup. "it's all a dream" is a writing crutch on par with time travel or alternate realities since no one does anything interesting with them any more.

The second story mode is Ryuko's side of the story. Some of the fights are the same, but there are several new ones, including a new final boss. It's also how you unlock Ryuko's dual wield mode, Nui and Ragyo.

How many of them are Kill # Enemies?

If I remember correctly, there are two that require you to defeat a certain amount of COVERS or Nui clones. The first fight requires you to beat the Elite Four one after another, and a later fight requires you to defeat them again as well as Satsuki, with two of them fighting you at once.

There's something poetic how even in a dream world Satsuki cannot beat Ryuko in sheer insane ideas and actions yet again she loses to her little sister.

Is Ryuko the real one or the dream world's version that despite Satsuki literally controlling the dream cannot control?

I'm glad piracy exist because of game preservation. I also believe that piracy improves games and the way companies treat customers. Game has annoying DRM? Piracy solves the problem. Overpriced DLC? Piracy.
That being said, all of the people that proudly brag about piracy are annoying as fuck. Look at me I'm too poor to buy a game lmao. I'm enjoying something that someone else made but who the fuck cares about paying them right?
On the bright side, piracy was a lot worse in the 90s early 2000s. Nowadays even places like China, Russia and South America buy games. At least sometimes.

believe it or not piracy also lets you peel back the curtain to see what the fuck is going on internally sometimes. believe it or not sony fails to strip debugging communications on most first party games, but then shit like bamco went out of their way to make sure it ONLY runs in a proper method, or some decided to disable communications between development tools which could be re-enabled if you get past their weird obfuscation
i tend to believe most companies that care about their product go out of their way to disable and remove dev stuff rather than just assume it wont matter.
