RE2 Remake is the game RE4 should have been, format-wise. Now that we have the former, RE4 might as well not exist. Now they just need to do it another time and bring back the attache case with item boxes and unsegregated inventories, seriously, how fucking long HOW FUCKING LONG has it been since since people asked for this and they've still NEVER DONE IT.

OTS like in REmake2, as in, still survival horror.

No but it has his charm. The ambientation is great. The gameplay isn’t that good but that is actually good, in this game you can’t just Bing bing pew pew, you have to think what to, remember how many zombies were left, how ammo you have how you have to spent it, how is your heart and how many hits/bites can you get without dying. Is unique. I apreciate that. A shame it isn’t that scary after the beggining, expect when a red crimson is running towards you

Quite the opposite. The open ended, non linear exploration of the mansion is great and the puzzles tow the line between too easy and too hard. It's also a game that relies hard on player improvisation. Not to mention all the bonus modes/replayabiltiy this game has.

Especially funny when all the other ports didn't cause that kind of trend.

Forgot to mention that many of the people who were crying about it were also playing on easy thinking it was normal mode.

I give you certain games being too generous with ammunition, but you should've known that your handgun goes in the trash almost as soon as you get the shotgun which you can use with near impunity.

With gameplay i mean when using guns. The puzzles, enemies and mansion were very good, sometimes the puzzles. feel a little hard to me but that because i’m a brainlet. Also I feel like this play was intented to be replayed a lot. Sorry if i didn’t explained too well
