Assassin's Creed Kingdom

Ubisoft will soon officially announce the new assassin's creed. Viking era. the player can choose between a man and a woman. The woman has blond hair, and the man has brown hair. The game is already advanced. Character is a reincarnation of Odin. There will be a boss fight against Thor. The character will join the Brotherhood during the story and will have a hidden blade.

sounds gay. vikings are so lame and not cool.

yeah, and gta VI will take place in brazil, mc is a black woman and it will be in the 70's

assassin sneed

Try harder retard. Ubisoft doesn't announce AC games so far off.

Are you not familiar with Assassin's Creed "leaks"? Origins just as a simple example was leaked a year before it even came out and then in 2017 it had a bunch of screenshots of in-production gameplay leaked. Unity had a bunch of leaked screenshots of the first major assassination like half a year before release.

Usually, if multiple major outlets pick up a "leak" as a story it's usually true, and Vikings has been going around for a couple months now on top of there being concept art from one of the Ubisoft guys for a viking game and The Division 2 apparently patched in a random poster with a viking on it.

why are you putting "leak" in quotes?

If its more of the shitty witcher clone/RPG checklist shit I dont give a shit.

Because the leaks are too convenient, there's too much information and too many screenshots coming out with every single game to believe it's just some random employee leaking it out each time. It feels like it's Ubisoft themselves doing it to drum up discussion and hype before they actually reveal information about the game and it would be a good way to do exactly that. Plus, no other Ubisoft series has leaks to the level AC does even though they have roughly the same amount of people and studios usually working on their stuff.

because they're closer to approved marketing releases than actual leaks

mesotoampia, an indian setting, something with colors and beautiful shit to look at. NOPE, lets have a harsh winter setting to cash in on the god of war crowd. fuck Ubisoft.

I still can't believe they are going with fucking vikings.

Not only is it relatively overused compared to other historical settings, it's a shit choice for Asscred in particular. What fucking cities are you going to explore? The vikings didn't have big urban cities.

Even just limiting it to pre-widespread gunpowder settings, literally all of these would be better options

>Roman Republic/Empire
>European Middle Ages (enpough shit fort like 2-3 games at least)
>Proper Ancient Egypt (as opposed to origin's poltemic egypt)
>Bronze Age or Iron Age mesopotamia (Sumer, Babylon, Assyria, etc)
>Ancient Persia
>A newer game set in the Medieval Islamic world
>Ancient or Medieval India, (like with europe, enough shit here for like 3 games)
>Medivial Southeast asian kingdoms (Khmer, Sukhothai etc)
>Ancient or Medivial China (like India.europe, again enough for like 3 games)
>Fuedal Japan
>Postclassical Mesoamerica (Aztec, Purepecha, etc)
>Classical Mesoamerica (Maya, Teotihuacan, etc)
>Late Horizon Andes (Inca Empire); an early intermediate or middle horizon with Moche city-states or the Wari and Tiwanku empires would also work, if not for the lack of historical sources

For fucks sake even AFRICA has some actual kingdoms and empires in the northwest parts of the continent with larger cities and towns then the vikings got close to doing. Even the more complex Native Americans like the MIsssissipians and Pueblo had comparable towns and settlements to the vikings, see pic, and said setting would at least be more unique and underused.

It's a complete waste and it's a spit in the face to anybody who gives a shit about history. There's so many better options that never get any attention in media, and while asscreeds is a normie franchise, and has stuck to mostly european history, it's at least generally gone for less common european settings like the Byzantine empire or french revolution or ressiisance italy.

ancient Persia, some Islamic setting, india, asia, Mesoamerica, andes… ALL THOSE BEAUTIFUL FUCKING SETTINGS with colors and love. ...Nah, we need that God of war audience, harsh winter and blandness. fuck I hope this leak is false. any idea when its supposed to be announced?

if that is true and considering what op wrote is also true, why would they spoiled their own game like this?

im with you man, would be nice to explore some beautiful locations

Think about it, it drums up discussion about the new game, it drums up discussion about the brand as a whole, it gets people interested, and the air of mystery has people speculating and talking about it keeping the series in people's minds constantly. Then when the reveal happens there's even more hype than there would be if it was just an announcement itself.

I never said I wasn't familiar with them, I'm just calling OP out on his bullshit. The only actual leak we have is from Jason Schreier and all he said was "Vikings end of 2020" and that's that. Ubisoft has nothing to announce until next E3.

anyone guess when the announcement will be made? i hope its not next years e3

OP's information probably isn't true but there's still speculation to be had considering it's what keeps popping up with regards to various leaks.

I fucking hate vikings.

Next years E3, or very close to it anyway. That's how it goes with AC.

>woman
dropped
fuck women
fuck minorities
bianca deserved it

You act like the series never featured beautiful locations, Egypt and Greece look incredible in these games.

why are you assuming it would be set purely in scandinavia when AC odyssey brought back the boat and vikings were seafarers through trade and war? it could shrink down the north and baltic seas to allow for locations all over europe

>female has blonde hair
>male doesn't
Why does this feel like Bioware all over again. Why does the video game industry hate blonde men? I can't even recall the last Western-developed blonde man in a video game.

stop believing every single thing you read user, jeez

since when do you post outside of yakuza threads?

Can you Ubisoft shills leak something other than Assassin's Creed for a change? Is Splinter Cell ever getting another game or what

>. Even the more complex Native Americans like the MIsssissipians and Pueblo had comparable towns and settlements to the vikings, see pic, and said setting would at least be more unique and underused.

Actually the larger Mississipian sites absolutely BTFO even the largest viking ones, Cahokia was a Mississipian site that had 30,000 to 40,000 inhabitants. May not have been made of stone, but it was city.

We literally had a Civilization having just formed in the middle of the Eastern US, but they collapsed right before Europeans showed up, and then then the successor towns and cities got encountered by Spanish explorers, whgo documented those towns and cities, but then whose disases then finished the job, wiping them out. By the time the British and French came to the US to colionize it, the entire contitient had already gotten fucked by diseases which wiped out all the sedentary semi-complex cheifdoms and proto-states/cities.
