>has no character besides being evil
Has no character besides being evil
Was Nihilus even conscious? He came across more as a force of nature in a roughly human form moreso than an intentionally consciously evil being.
he's not evil just hungry
You're Not You When You're Hungry!™
what did he meant by this?
He's a force of nature, dumbass. That's the point. He's all about raw power and how it can consume you. There are two other villains to cover the other stuff.
He's not really a person anymore. He's a thing. He's given in completely to power and become like a plague.
*one
one other villain
The second one not being one-dimensional like Sion doesn't magically undo the all the villainy.
He had some nice dreads.
Haha, tricked! My deadly implication was that Sion wasn't a villain, rather than the more common strategy of declaring Kreia was not a villain. Another fool trapped in my web of lies.
DUDE WHAT IF LIKE HE ATE THE FORCE
If he had an insatiable hunger for force, why didn't he eat Visas? Surely eating was more important than having an apprentice.
He eventually devours all life around him, he just does so more slowly with his servants since he still needs them to do stuff like fly his ship.
He was eating everyone on his ship. Just in very small amounts.
He's a force of nature who works on basic instincts like hunger. Nihilus is essentially the Exile's counterpart, they're both a wound in the Force. Though while you cut off from the Force completely to be able to survive, Nihilus drew from it.
He's there as a reminder of what could've happened to you if things turned out a bit differently at Malachor, and what the Jedi Council thought you would eventually become if you continued to exist.
Not killing her was his last bit of humanity or something.
If we go with that he was a delusional broken fool, then there are no villains in the game and possibly the entire lore. You can rationalize everything away.
>You can rationalize everything away.
*rationalizes away the last decade of no good Star Wars games*
h-heh
Idiot. Scion and Nihilus are one-note by design. That's the point, they're supposed to be the big bad sith but they're failures
He lost his personality chasing power. That's the point. Don't be like Nihilus. Being able to destroy planets is pointless when all you can or want to do is destroying more planets. At least be a cool Sith and build an Empire, or teach some bad-ass Sith students to ass-stab you in your sleep. Don't just mumble around in a crummy old ship with a bunch of gray boring assholes.
One thing that irked me about the Sith in KotOR 2 are the mooks. The rank-and-file Sith officers and soldiers you fight.
The regular Sith military looked out of place considering the Sith Triumvirate didn't occupy any planets and seemed to be completely disinterested in running an empire or even contesting the Republic at all.
Nihilus just wanted to eat every force user and Sion just wanted to kill Jedi.
The fuck they even needed soldier underlings for, and why the fuck would they serve those cunts and not turn mercenary?
Good insurance and dental plan
They are remnants from the Revan and Malak time. Initially the Triumvirate probably even used them.
That's kinda dumb but it's just an SW thing. Remnants probably. Nihilus' forces make some sense as they seem to be very zombie-like, drained of their personality and such by his evil presence.
>wears a burka
>is the ultimate evil in the galaxy
what did bioware mean by this?
Kek
What we all knew.
Thats not malak
Perhaps they were promised powerful positions in a new empire once the Jedi were out of the way. Still a throwaway line by some officer for exposition wouldn't have hurt.
Sith empires are theocracies but the "normie" imperials and their motivations always interested me the most.
Visas had a valuable force power. That's the only reason he kept her alive.
Because with Visas, he finally achieved his goal of having a big tiddy asian gf
How the fuck could this possibly have happened to the Exile? I must be missing some shit, but Nihilus is some kind of freak. Mega strong in the force but really weak in the sense that he needs to eat people to live
I always saw sith empires being "might makes right" kind of deal, with regular imperials doing their best to become strong, but all accepting that they cannot be as strong as the Sith proper
Nihilus is essentially an absence in the force that became a black hole and just eats it all up, the Exile is only at the absence stage.
>How the fuck could this possibly have happened to the Exile?
Have you listened to what Kreia was saying? Like at all? About Malachor V? Or the Jedi? Or even fucking Bao-Dur?
They both were at Malachor V.
Vitiate was meant to show what a Sith does who has achieved it all: uncontested power and immortality.
He becomes detached demigod. Instead of playing the game and pubstomping like he used to, he designs his own levels for fun. He even stops being edgy to those who are no threat to him, like normal Sith like to do to flex their powah.
He became so powerful that those who posed absolutely no possible threat to him had nothing to really fear from the guy. Zakuul was an okay empire to live.
Like how ladybugs don't go around fearing us, while bigger animals higher up the food chain do.
It was an interesting concept. With better writers he would be one of the greats.
Sure. But the higher officers do seem to get uppity every now and then, resenting the Sith Lords for being selfishly quarrelsome cunts who risk imperial defeat with their infighting and power games.
Absolute social darwinism is hard when you don't have space magic powers. Regular humans, even those who place value in ruthless competition, still need systems of honor, loyalty and principled subordination to a higher ideal - even the imperials.
Imagine a military where the surest way to advance in rank is to frag the officer above you. Kek.
