Bah, I couldn't give a shit about that sort of stuff. I want her playable or at least accompanying Link because it would make for an interesting dynamic. Much like how Spirit Tracks had her doing stuff. She doesn't even need to be in a combat role, I think they can do something new that she would be suited for, things that Link would look odd doing. Archeology stuff, research. I want mini games where you have to put together clay pots or other things, which can point you to where treasures are. None of which that would be required of course, entirely possible to find it yourself wandering blindly. But it would still be cool. I also want her interacting with Link a lot. The memories where they were getting along were nice and I want to see more of that. Kind of like the culmination of what Miyamoto wanted to do with OoT and it's originally conceived dating elements, where he said he wanted to be able to take the girl on a stroll down the beach.

I mean, sure I get it. A lot of idiots that barely have played Zelda hate the idea of the princess in distress and want her to do something. Or are confused on why Link is only ever a boy and claim it's exclusive to girls. It's good to protect against that shit, because Zelda doesn't need to be about representation. But some people just want to watch Zelda being cute and competent and the old "Save me Link" has kind of gotten a little old and would seem ultra lazy if done with the same Zelda back to back. Plus I think people aren't thinking about the possibility of dressing Zelda up in various outfits and also undressing
