So people spend money on a program to play their game on their bought pc, with their internet they payed for, while they buy games, that they can only play as long as the streaming service is active. And may have connection issues with even for single player games.

if it works without input lag on singleplayer games and is super cheap its fine, ill probably try it out. I dont see much difference in consuming digital goods. What the real problem will be is that it will all be AAA trash, i cant imagine AA Slav dev games being on this.

Google crashing and burning with this idea is good because it will scare people off from streaming-only gaming for the foreseeable future. Be thankful that they chose the worst possible model and handwave all legitimate questions and concerns about the service. If they were actually smart about it we might've been fucked.
