I think I'm out of stuff to try on NG+. I keep messing around trying to do more or skip more but it seems they actually protected a lot of areas from sequence breaks. Maybe I'll try to do a whacky RBO run where I use invert to fight craftwork and watch as it literally can't do anything.

there's like 5 of them and they each hit for more damage than you and they usually go nuts at high rank just all swarming any enemy or boss and decimating them all while you stay safe from a distance.

Mind you thoughThey deal 30 damage at the start and maybe 50-60 at the end fully ranked up with gears and stats and levels and stuff. But the thing with nightmare is you're stuck at level so the stats are low and they'll usually just be doing 30 damage. Which is still FAR more than whatever shit damage you'll be doing.

In theory, anything is possible as long as you never get hit.

You can farm the familiar at the start of Nightmare to Grade 9, which gives you 5 floating attackers who will deal with most of your problems before they can reach you. Even with just one or two of them they're still good since they don't waste time winding up slow attacks like most other familiars.

What? I was doing like 10 damage at most to vepar and 15 to zangetsu and craftwork. Meanwhile my army of floating helmets did 30 per tick while savagely raping them in the ass while I just focused on dodging.

Keep Directional Shield on one of your shortcuts. Switch to it after he freezes time and you can block the ice shards. And be aware he'll throw his sword into the wall behind you, so you'll want to move away from that position.

For me, they only targeted her when she moved to the middle of the stage, which is when you're going to be doing the most damage to her anyways. And if I kept them around for the rest of the fight, they would sometimes kill the tentacle eggs midair before I could react, letting the laser fuck me over.

They kept hitting him while he was in the middle of dashes, which let him chain into another attack at close range to hit me. Found it easier to turn them off.

His first attack leaves him wide open for a long time, and the rest of the battle is just backdashing. True arrow cleans him up on its own easily.
Now, I have no idea how I'd do a Nightmare run without ranking up True Arrow. A run without shards at all sounds impossible.

If you equip shoes and do their weapon technique in the air you can go right through the stream. Just don't use the shoes for anything else in the fight...they're just so bad.
