All of the games are fun for at least a playthrough.
You can see BL1 is more of a prototype for BL2 and that TPS is mostly a big DLC for BL2, but they are all good.

borderlands 1 is really rough around the edges in comparison to the sequel. if you want another game play the pre sequel , the story was definitely rewritten at the last minute to shoehorn in political bullshit because it contradicts itself almost every story beat, but it has laser guns
