Anyone excited for Shadowkeep?
Anyone excited for Shadowkeep?
Yeah, I hope the armors aren't fucked up. Fuck Reckoning too, and Undying better be one he'll of a PvP make over, but I fucking doubt it.
Yea, I hope at the very least they fix a lot of PvP stuff. I'm only doing reckoning for the Prime Armour triumph so I can get the 2019 seal.
>Destiny
Unironically, SERIOUSLY kill yourself dude. Preferably painfully.
Same. I actually like Gambit but Reckoning is awful. I can't get enough collector synthe and I've rolled fucking 4 boots and 3 chest pieces when all I need is a god damn bond.
I respect your opinion, but politely disagree.
I'm not a big fan of gambit, honestly. The invasion mechanic is kinda shit in a lot of ways. You shouldn't be able to invade a team that doesn't have a primeval if you have one. Especially if they have under half the required motes. Also walls.
Yeah I agree but its fun for turning your brain off and hanging with buddies.
Yeah, I can agree with that. I just need a full set of notorious gear on my Hunter for triumphs. That, and 21% delirium for the other one
Well when it's coming to PC for free yeah. Quit the shit game after the disrespectful and blatantly low effort Curse of Osiris DLC - I really hope Bungie gives a discount for people who bought the season pass for Destiny 2 but it's unlikely (gonna get a code off a key reseller site couple months after release)
Been burnt out on Destiny ever since the April Update back in 2016 but people talk about it highly now so I might jump back in. I genuinely miss the game and the fun experiences
Yes
no i rather play warframe instead
It's in a much better state than CoO's release, but ultimately it's still up to you as to whether or not you like it or not. Right now, Forsaken, base game, and every single DLC is on sale for like $40 and that transfers to steam if you decide to try it. You won't need it to play Shadowkeep, though, which is $35. It's going to a more MMO-ish type model where the base game is free and the bigger expansions cost. I'm really excited for it, especially since my friends that didn't wanna buy it at first want to try it now.
Trying to queue for reckoning as anything other than Well Warlock is just murder

>We know that while upgrading these sets is a fun experience, it does take a commitment of time and effort. Lest it feel like a bummer earning this set just to have the new armor system make it somewhat obsolete when Shadowkeep releases, we decided, based on player feedback, to make the Solstice of Heroes armor set the first armor 2.0 set you will receive (assuming you earn it, of course).
>Whatever full Legendary sets you earn now will have their new armor 2.0 versions waiting for you to pick up from the Gunsmith when Shadowkeep releases. You will be able to see only the set for the character you are logged in as; you will have to switch characters to claim other eligible sets.
shadowkeep will probably be the last chance i give bungie if they manage to fuck this up. ive already forgiven them too many times
The most recent update almost killed the game for me. Hunting those wanted tasks was so boring. I enjoy the game when I play with others.
Fair enough. I play both and like them both, although I don't personally find then all that comparable.
Too bad that only applies to Solstice Armor, which Titans don't have a great set this year because for some reason half of it has to be an unchangeable gaudy gold.
Will buy it a year later with all the content on a discount so I can burn through all of it in several weeks like I'm doing now with Forsaken
Fair enough. I find myself rather complacent, because it feels like modern gaming is either "forgive and keep playing" or just stop playing most games. The gameplay and story /generally/ redeem it for me.
Depending on what you have right now, you probably won't have to worry too much about it. It's $10 per annual-pass-style expansion and $35 for shadowkeep so it's at least a decent bit cheaper than before.
>Forsaken, base game, and every single DLC is on sale for like $40 and that transfers to steam if you decide to try it
Well I'm gonna try it out first and link my Xbox live account
>going to a more MMO-ish type model where the base game is free and the bigger expansions cost.
Sort of iffy on that model - liked it the way is was before where you just paid a set price. The way it has the season pass stuff is complicated to understand
Same here man
It's not about money anymore
I'd be throwing money at Bungie in the thousands if the end product was worth it
Alas fuck them I'm never buying their shit at full price ever
How much content is forever gone? Is there collectable shit that I will never be able to obtain because I wasn't around for it? Weapons and the like?
The queens events are forever gone and I will never ever forgive Bungie for doing it
Yes. There's nothing that I can think of off the top of my head that is genuinely needed/viable in the current game, though. Just various armour/weapon reskins from faction rallies, seasonal events and the like.
Speaking of things that are gone and need to come back, Prison of Elders and good D1 armour.
>Grind for best gear
>New exp comes out
>Replace it in a second
>Do it all again
>Repeat
Zero challenge game like warframe
As long as I have fun, that's what matters. I'm really passionate about this game and its story/lore too so that helps
Still trying to get recluse, I'm not good enough. At least lord of wolves is getting nerfed next week maybe I'll make it then...
Just doing the couple games to get the EXP boost weekly should also help a ton. I just got it with time and a ton of patience. If you start to tilt, take a break. It's not work anger.
The gameplay is really fun. Instead of warframe where the gameplay is superjank helicopter(i actually loved coptering) sliding through the levels for the first 30 hours before you can actually play the game that is just SPAMMING ONE ABILITY TO WIPE THE ROOM.
Destiny 2 just don't have shit to go for. I mean the exotic quests are alright but i think it's missing content that can mix with the great gunplay.
Recluse is the easiest Crucible pinnacle weapon to obtain by far, though
Ahem
FUCK THE GAUNTLET ON THE FAT MAN'S SHIP
Yeah. I'm going for Luna's and Redrix right now.
Redrix isn't worth it
>Excited for anything destiny in 2019
HUH?
And that means I missed out on quite a bit of content huh? Is there any reason to try and get into it with only the Y1 season pass then? CoO was so dogshit I dropped it right then and there.
>mfw oneshotting yellow bars with the thrown hammer from midtree sunbreaker with Wormgod Caress
>especially fuckign wizards
>implying anything in destiny is worth it
dumbshit
Gauntlet in Levi is fun, but not so much in Menagerie.
I'm autistic and it's one of the things that I genuinely get really obsessed with. I have a real passion for it.
Yee, I just kinda do a bit here and there. Just wanna say I have it.
When shadowkeep launches, a lot of Y2 content and gear are going to be available to all free players IIRC. You still need to get forsaken and the annual pass for the story/that sort of content, but you have access to gambit, a few raids and stuff.
>destiny 2
>lets blame our game being shit in Activision
>OKAY... Activision is gone! The big boogie man is gone!!
>when is the game going to get better?
>any day now?
>few months?
>a year?
>you are aware those features we hate can be hot fixed right?
>game is still shit? Oh dear...
I'm happy I only payed for 30 bucks for the game and the 2 first expansion. By the way how do I convert my fucking Activision version to the steam version?
At least Destiny actually has good gameplay.
>I'm happy I only payed for 30 bucks for the game and the 2 first expansion. By the way how do I convert my f
They have a site right now to sign up for an email for when you're able to, but for right now, all we know is that it is in september. Likely like a day or two before Shadowkeep releases.
