RCT Thread 1 looks to intense for me.
RCT Thread 1 looks to intense for me
Posting screens from last weeks openrct Yea Forums game
I played RCT2 all the time as a kid but could never, ever figure out how to
1.) build things vertically
2.) play with limited money (and succeed)
I was a kid so I figure it's fine, but was I a total retard or is it pretty normal to just not get certain things like this as a kid?
>no openRCT2 server
fucking when
>cuckoldry simulator
Alright thats all. Maybe we'll see each other when I'll host a server some other time again.
>Just finished Fungus Woods for the first time ever
You know what, I’m gonna say it:
FUCK Pay for Entry Parks and FUCK Side Friction Coasters
You got a .sav of the map?
outstanding
FUCK levels that don't let you set admission/ride price
Nah the whole thing crashed on me when I turned on experimental features to allow all types of carts on all types of tracks and someone build a swan-boat rollercoaster
Here is the last park I built, thoughts? A problem I tend to encounter in Rollercoaster Tycoon is building a park that looks good.
Also new Yea Forums server when?
>try to get openrct update
>antivirus sees it as a trojan
what's the deal?
It makes sense, when i was little i thought making the rides have good value for what they were was a good idea, as well as charging out the ass for park entry at the same time.
Then I got older and realized the path of the jew was the one true way to play. Free park entry, but that Launched Freefall is $9 a ride.
It looks comfy and very simple. The only way to make insanely realistic and/or beautiful parks is through custom scenery. But something tells me you’re not ready for that level of autism because it does require lots of it.
What antivirus are you using?
It's a false-positive. Happened to me on some GOG games with Windows Defender before I disabled it.
the trick for Pay for Entry is to find out what the minimum amount of money a guest can spawn in with, and set the park entry price to that amount exactly. Never use ATM's on those parks because you want them to gtfo fast so they can be replaced with another full wallet
windows something or other. I get paranoid about that sort of thing though
Embrace the spaghetti
Which RCT had these maps stock?
I forget.
>Foreign Admissions
>broken down
fucking kek
RCT1, but just get the map packs from the old /vr/ threads from the archive and you have no reason to touch RCT1.
still mad those threads died, FUCK the 2 week long limit for threads on slow boards like that
I see, thanks bro.
Those are RCT1 maps, converted for Open RCT2.
Play Parkitect
please forgive this shitty image shill, my laptop is a toaster
Post spaghetti/cramped parks
Graphics are ugly and not aesthetically pleasing like isometric RCT.
That’s the only reason I won’t play the modern coaster building games.
>download rtc1
>Beat a level easily
>Have sit let me computer run for like two hours for the level to finish in it's own
I don't understand how the devs thought this was ok.
something something "can you maintain that?" either way openrct lets you fast forward
Screenshot of this ride?
Why not set the park entrance to $80+ AND charge $10 to ride the freewill? Set the toilets to .50 too
>$80
the lowest amount they hold is 40-60 usually. But charging for both is a bad idea. Having park entry free makes them more willing to pay more per ride
What's the most insane map ever made in Roller Coaster Tycoon?
Stop lying to yourself. Parkitect is literally just RCT even with all isometric view translated to 3D. RCT is only good nowadays for its rustic kind of feel, deep down you know the style is a limitation of its time, and its a good thing we have moved past that barrier.
What's open rct and how is it different than the normal games?
>budget bone's thrilling ride
made me chuckle
Pretty much just has more features. Stuff like fast forward and some other stuff i forgot about
Who Stille Willem here?
Online multiplayer, able to customize rides a lot deeper, larger max map size, custom user made assests(ride themes, cars, scenery) some UI changes, "cheat menu", QOL stuff and more.
constantly updating, somewhat active community with future plans on the project.
