My friend forgot to bring second controller.
Pooping
I am
japanese netcode
Because doa has better waifus
Too many moves.
Movement itself is also too hard to grasp.
Because all it boils down to is juggling someone for thirty seconds and I don't care about volleyball.
I'm terrible with most fighting games, the only one I can play decently is smash bros.
Based Liliposters, continue having superior taste
Already played earlier today
Because of shit characters like Lili, Lars, and thar filipina chick
Doesn't run on my craptop
Okay
whats going on in this thread
An hour ago I tried to play Devil Jin for the first and got fucked 0-3 5 times in a row by a Dragunov so I ragequit
I normally play Jin, Anna and Master Raven
Anyone have days where you just suck more than usual? played earlier today and got rekt by almost everyone. felt like i played like shit and had bad movement
I tend get salty over the most retarded things so that's why.
don't let the thread die
I'm not home at the moment.
lili is so unga, all she does is just matterhorn and flips
Because I play good games instead like UNIST.
maybe if you're a 1st dan
Yes. What I do is to never play after waking up because my reflexes are sluggish, and well pray to god I'm not tilted. Getting enough rest is essential too.
She is an unga character with tons of evasive moves. Just gotta lab. Same with asuka, eddy, xiayu and hwaorang
I tend towards the opposite. I want to play as much as I can when I'm at my worst.
Gookshit
op you're getting pretty annoying, if youre gonna make a thread to talk about tekken do it without all that waifufaggotry
tfw no sleepy vampire gf to cuddle with
lilie shows her belly button alot
Because I don't like it
mad someone disturbed your politics threads and eceleb shit?
I am. I took 2nd place at a local tourney last week and won $15. My mains are Julia and Bob and I'd like to go into the city soon to find even stronger competition.
Made for japanese tomboy fisting
I once stabbed myself in the leg with a pocket knife because I got a problem wrong on my math homework. I once punched and broke my parents' TV because I lost a match, and to cover it up I slammed my forehead on the corner of the TV table until blood was running down my face and then convinced them that I tripped and fell into the TV on accident.
If I can learn to manage my anger, anyone can.
Did your parents abuse you?
>I'd like to go into the city soon to find even stronger competition.
You've maimed Bob so hard you've become him
I prefer Blazblue
If anything they didn't abuse him enough.
>like the Muay Thai moveset
>have an irrational hatred/annoyance of crying women
Goddamnit
How do I become good at fighting games?
Honestly no, at least not in my opinion. I've just always had an intense self-loathing and need to be perfect. If at first you don't succeed, you fail, right? You're a failure. Why the fuck did you even try if you were going to suck so badly? What's the fucking point of doing anything if you're going to do it WRONG?
I can distinctly remember my father trying to teach me that it's okay to make mistakes if you learn from them, and I kept arguing with him because I don't WANT to make mistakes. I want to do things the right way, the first time, every time.
I've still got it in me. It's something I fight with pretty much every single day of my life. Every single minor inconvenience is a potential trigger for a sudden and extreme burst of violence. I have to keep most knives and sharp objects in a closed drawer, so I don't impulsively try to cut or stab myself after, I don't know, stubbing my toe on a desk or spending too long in a mildly hot room.
I still compulsively bite and scratch myself sometimes. It can happen so fast that I don't even notice. I'll be like, "hey why are my fingers bloody?" and then I'll remember that I lost a close match like twenty minutes ago and scratched up my face and neck on impulse.
>getting fucked even harder on DJ than on Jim, Anna and Raven
Do you normally just try and out-random your opponent or something? The fuck happened
shit game lets you beat pro players by button mashing
That user is right, you dont need to rely on 2D anime waifus to get a kekken thread going. Just some good ass tekken.
Lili is cute. I haven't played tekken since soul calibur came out. It might be hard to go back to tekken movement again
You were fucking born broken. Go see a therapist and then apologize to your father for at least making an attempt at rectifying his broken child.
Because the son of a bitch is still downloading.
>all I can play is practice mode with no DLC playable
>Estimated Time: 99+ Hours
Fuck Verizon, I’m getting gypped hard on my internet service here, and there’s literally zero alternative.
You best not be playing online, unless you're on PS4 then go for it
PC's online scene is fine though
It’s dead at this time of day.
Glad it sold 4 million though.
Sure because you have a higher chance of connecting with someone using ethernet but if itll take you 99+ hours to download your shit sounds like itll straight up be too slow to even play fighting games.
I'm playing a superior fighting game.
Seems fine to me
>Soulcalibur 6
>190 playing 21 min ago
>287 24-hour peak
>14,486 all-time peak
I guess I have to go back to tekken now, huh.
i played yesterday and some today only to further realize i much prefer DOA and SC
As a longtime SC man who finally broke down and switched to Tekken, yeah. It's just a better game in every single way.
Reversal edge and soul charge completely fucked the game. Mounting a reliable offense is fucking impossible when every single character has access to a fast and easy armor move that gives them a mixup opportunity and tons of meter.
All I wanted was SC5's fighting system on a game that wasn't rushed out the door in less than a year. They didn't have to change a single fucking thing. SC5 was my favorite fighting system of all time. And they completely fucked it in the ass.
Welcome and enjoy
I think my PS1 is in my parents attic.
Smash Bros is more fun
I'm 1st Dan, so obviously not very good at the game
I feel like everyone knows what to do against DJ, but with Jin is mega strong this time around and Anna and Raven have a bunch of crutches I can lean on
You know I'm right, fag.
Traditional fightan is monotonous and boring as fuck
I've played it regularly for some time, but it's just too stressful, I don't know
I mean, I'm having fun and it feels rewarding when I'm winning, but when I'm losing, it somehow feels devastating. And it never happens with any other fightan I play.
Take, KI, for example, this game is a blast to play no matter if you're winning or losing as you're always engaged and make decisions even when you're being combo'd
In Tekken, I feel like I'm overheating.
>plays nintento
>calls others fags
Holy fucking COPE!
Listen, your character has absolutely nothing to do with it. Literally every character is equally viable until like, Ruler ranks, which is about 25 Dans higher than you. Until then, pick whatever the fuck you want and start to get a feel for them.
If you really want to improve quickly though, I recommend Kazumi. She's the most basic character in the game, which means you get to spend as much time as possible learning the fundamentals of movement, spacing, and pokes.
I'm Tekken a break.
As that other user said its definitely you and tiers dont mean shit until later, but as far as Mishimas go you can duck EWGF and that also happens to block hellsweeps, so MIX EM
I'm so hyped for the Zafina reveal at EVO
Why are Lili cosplayers so slutty? Fucking pick Nina,Anna or Katarina if you're going to be like that.
I have played tekken all my life since like 1997 until now, got like 700+ hours in T7. Just started to pick up Street Fighter for thr first real time ever, enjoying V a lot.
>lili moved into asuka's room
Do you think she filters her tea through asuka's panties? asking for a friend
No but she definitely brews it in Asuka's tomboy sweat.
I believe every character is viable but obviously there are characters people just don't lab against because nobody plays them, especially in this area of ranks. So people fall for stuff like Anna's d/b+4~ and MRavens teleport and backturned and flipping all over the place bullshit
>ywn be Lili
why live
Devil Jin's a bit harder execution wise and ofc people are all looking out for the hellsweep.
It's not an insurmountable difficulty however, if you like the character you can still push through that and climb through the ranks.
Soulcalibur is better
you're right, i should
there's a tournament coming up saturday and i havent been practicing
lmao jk dark souls 3 time
No Team Battle.
I am afraid of online because people got shit connections
Also I can't for the life of me learn how to juggle. I just keep using a simple 8 hit combo I've learned to dish out maximum damage every time it connects, rest is just blocking and jabbing
You don't need to optimize combos right away, just focus on punishing and movement.
that and some movement is really all you need
>he doesn't know how to korean backdash
>If at first you don't succeed, you fail, right? You're a failure. Why the fuck did you even try if you were going to suck so badly? What's the fucking point of doing anything if you're going to do it WRONG?
That is weird and honestly stupid way of thinking. Nobody is perfect, nobody does something perfect the first time they attempt it, if you do indeed that, it means you've learned some things in the past from which the knowledge translates into the latest thing. Failures are a teacher, you fail as many times as it takes to get good, it's not the same as slamming your head to the wall and expecting different results, a mistake makes you feel bitter, but it's supposed to motivate you to try again so many times you eventually succeed. After you succeed, you'll do it right the next time, and the time after that, maybe fail once, but the rate at which you succeed grows with each repeat. Once you do it so much you master it, you'll do it flawlessly every single time you attempt it.
It is a weak mindset to quit right after failure, it is fear of failure. Someone who isn't afraid will keep going, even if it embarrassess them in the progress, because eventually they'll be so good that the ones who quit will be jealous of how good they are.
And people always ask those who've mastered their craft, "how are you so good, man I wish I was as good as you". Bitch, it's time and dedication, failure after failure, to get this good.
Asuka's panties now all belong to Lili.
Because I like SC much more.
SC6 is a lot more fun than Tekken 7 for me, but now it's practically dead and the RE mechanic is still in and fuck that shit.
So I don't play either anymore.
Sure must be nice, getting up to a Dan.
The problem is that I'm better than my friends and they don't want to play with me anymore if I improve more.
I miss the actual arcade endings for characters. The 1 minute pathetic excuse for a cutscene we get in the new storymode is a fucking joke. I want to see Lee fucking up more Mishimas and giving a thumbs up after he says some Engrish shit.
Same here. The only person I know doesn't play anymore because he got frustrated by the steep learning curve. After bodying all his buddies just by employing sidestepping
How long until she just buy Asuka?
I keep seeing Tekken 7 threads these days.
Tell me. Is it good?
It's the best fighting game on the market right now.
Given, all other fighting games on the market right now are bad, but T7 is still a damn good game in its own right.
The only problem is a lack of in-game tutorials so you'll have to watch a bunch of youtube tutorials to learn the game, as Tekken never teaches you about game mechanics like crushes, for example.
Because it's so boring and ugly compared to DOA6 or SFV
Why is Tekken's movement so shit?
I would but online fucking sucks. Sometimes you have a great time and sometimes you ran into those 3 bar bitches. They should really start showing the ping in ms and not some ass-backwards bar graphic.
these threads are all started by notorious redditor and stoner, Aris
avoid at all costs, if you smell the stench of weed, run, he is near
I'm the same to a lesser degree
getting better as I get older and wiser though
Should I buy tekken on PS4 even though I already have it on PC?
I played for 3 years and suck. Went to Vsfighting and everyone smoked me
You don't need to learn all the moves
>hundreds of moves and strings to memorize
>frame data, which ones are punishanle, duckable, steppable, interruptable
>retarded movement
>overly defensive once you start playing at a decent level, first person to whiff gets launched
That's why
SC isn't bad. Don't know much about Granblue and Samurai Shodown though
So you don't like to learn. Cool.
