After some extensive playtesting with Guard Cancel Aassault and Assault Cancel in the game, they're super fucking fun mechanics. A little busted right now but with some tweaking should be good

Technically yes, it's right below purple which is the highest, but don't rely on square color to tell how good that person is. There are purple squares that play like green squares and blue squares that play like orange squares.

I need to get some more reliable side-switch combos with Hyde.

Yeah, I could see the comparison to a twin-stick shooter. A lot of the joy comes from the retarded fire power you get eventually. Nothing beats laser-designating whole groups of insects for your missiles to mulch. 5 added crappy liquid effects, so you'll sometimes paint skyscrapers with insect fluid. The dumbass voices manage to make a fairly bleak game goofy too. It's a treat.

Yeah, I live in a really shitty town and I'm trying to save up so I can get out. In Florida too so it explains a lot. I kicked the mother fuckers out of the house but I feel like I painted a target on my back. Like one day a couple of meth heads also broke into another house in my neighborhood and kill an elderly couple because their son knew them from a mutral friendship like 10 or 20 years ago and now they're fucked up because of meth.
Seems like I'm not in a similar situation because my mom use to have a childhood friend but now he's a fucking druggie and it was before she knew until it was too late that he was a meth head
And I was being fucking aggressive with those people too. So it might be possible that I could get killed in the near future unless I moved. The law enforcement in my town is the biggest fucking joke in the world.

How do Squares work? I went from White to Green but I don't know any combos and I've only won 5 matches.

See I believe after your first 30 or 40 matches it ranks you depending on how you did while you were a grey square.

From there you have to win 10 matches positive to rank up or lose 10 matches negative to derank. So in other words, if you win 2 and lose 1 you'd be +1 and you need to hit +10.

It only goes up when you face people your square color. Don't be too bothered by it though since it can be misleading, as you see myself performing some pretty neat stuff for a yellow square.

White is the data collection square that determines where you end up. It dumps you into yellow, green, or orange I believe. You rank up and down now by playing against people the same square as you. Lowest to highest is light blue, dark blue, green, yellow, orange, red, and purple.

Ah that makes sense. I'll just keep in mind that all the red squares I've seen so far are pretty neato and that one day I might see a purple.

These lobbies have a few purples.

Stick around and I guarantee you'll run into them in the next few sessions.

Some of them are also doubledippers as well (play on both platforms) so they've got loads of neat stuff to show off due to all the experience.

Absentia's Yuzu is super patient. It's like watching someone wait for the smallest opening and then striking.
