i feel like theres no possible positive outcome for this movie unless they literally rewrite and reshoot it from the ground up, it already has a shitty generic premise and aside from sonic theres barely anything actually related to the games, eggman doesn't even look like himself until what i assume is close to the end of the movie or a post credits scene
even if they make sonic look considerably better its just going to be a shitty movie regardless, they'd have to not only fix sonic but ALL the robot designs, reshoot every scene with carrey in a fat suit, and get rid of the bizarre "sonic has ring portals" plot thing they've got going on and beyond that rewrite all the jokes because none of the trailer ones hit (which since they usually load trailers with the best bits means every other joke is a bigger stinker)
im glad to see them actually listen to fan input but i really wish we got the horrorshow the original was aiming to be because i don't think this product is redeemable
at least i still get my CGI abominations with the cats movie though

They can't be so dumb. To low movement scenes you can use the pc software to auto generate these small changes, so you put em in sequence. if Sonic's angle is totally different, you have to draw another Sonic, but again you can use the pc to generate small changes.
tldr You don't need to draw every single frame of Sonic nor the small changes

It's CGI, dude. CGI is easy to make. You mostly don't have to draw. The PC generates the most of the small frame changes. Even a 3 year old kid can make a CGI movie.
