Name three (3) examples of this.

Talk about a twisted designer.

what is this, a slide for hedgehogs?

1. Silent Hill 2
2. ?
3. ?

Silent Hill 2

SMTIV during the poison swamp in Naraku the first time through.

A couple of stupid Mario Maker levels.

Metroid Prime 2's dark world

DMC1

Nito's arena and Lost Izalith in DS1

seems more like an rng death section desu

It was a slide at an amusement park that became notorious for the absurdly high number of customer injuries and fatalities.

I think if you got stuck you would probably still be able to climb out of loop. Probably not if you are 8yo though.

jesus wept

Just about every DRPG with damage tiles.

Mother 3

>game has boss you're supposed to die to
>doesn't make it readily apparent so you waste all good consumables in an effort to survive

Wouldn't that cause the water to just pool up like a u bend?

Lost Izalith's damage can be avoided by taking the Chaos Servant shortcut.
You can't avoid the fall damage entering Nito's Room, though.

>game has boss you're supposed to die to
>you would actually be able to win if it wasn't programmed to not let you

>game has boss you're supposed to die to
>beat it anyway but get nothing for it, and the story proceeds as if you had lost

there was a level in one of the first 2 doom games where you are forced to walk on the acid floor through a hallway, and they just put a few medkits in there to keep you alive
