Will FF7R be faithful to the original game?

Will FF7R be faithful to the original game?

It won't.

Characters will be really similar, but the writing and way events are presented will be quite different.

Don't expect it to have the same humor and charm, or you'll probably be disappointed.

It's going to be a steaming pile of shit and weeb numales will slurp it up regardless.

Cloud isn't that bad, he's less exaggerated but it looks fine

>ZRfags will defend this

I really really like this image

Cloud looks fine, even with the AC Hair. 8/10.

Tifa looks nearly a world apart from her classic design, like what a deviantart artist/cosplayer might think is a cooler "version" of Tifa. 4/10. Her new voice is 10/10, though.

Aeris is so well done that I don't even mind the new granny frock as opposed to her sexy button-down, even though I prefer the latter. 11/10.

Barret's design is good, but a bit too light skinned for my tastes, and the sunglasses are a bit much. 7/10.

Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie all look superb. 10/10.

Sephiroth looks like Sephiroth. Sephiroth/10, I guess

You all actually wanted a REMASTER. This is the only reason you're bitching.

>Complaining about Thigh-highs
Shit taste

I didn't, and I highly doubt many other FF7 fans did.

The only people who wanted an FF7 remake were those who complained about Midgar.

Literally the ONLY issue is Tifa's design.

Thigh highs are amazing, but they do not belong on Tifa under any circumstance, especially if the goal of the new design is to make her seem more "athletic."

when not if it comes to PC, there will be mods that change the character models to make them more like the original.

It'll have all the events from the original, but also new shit. I almost expect them to add at least another reactor mission to the game to pad out the length.

are they gonna add the ability to save Aerith?

I'm actually expecting some "classic costume" preorder DLC with Tifa's classic outfit, Cloud's classic hair and purple SOLDIER uniform, and a button-down dress for Aeris.

I really dont think game companies understand that keeping the style of a game is a lot more important than making it look realistic. like you can make it HD and add more detail, but i dont think ff7 was ever going for a gritty realistic style. every game is just trying to look as realistic as possible, which in hand is why most games look so similar now, because realism is the only style companies know now

I didn't want a remake, then Square shit the bed constantly with all their new titles, so I changed my mind. Just seeing fully 3d renderings of classic environments is enough of a selling point for me.

They literally made World of Final Fantasy last year and everyone hated it because it looked like a childs game.

What the fuck do you want?

My only issue with Tifa's design is that she's too fucking skinny. I swear Aerith has more meat on her. Everyone else looks great, in my opinion.

i love world of final fantasy, but thats besides the point. that was its own game, so its not adapting a previous style unlike ff7. if you made ff7 with a chibi style, of course people would hate it because thats also not ff7s style

does barrett call tifa a nigger in this version or not

My only issue with Tifa is she isn't thick enough to convince me she can hurt anything with her punches and kicks. Literally no muscle, let alone body fat. She's skin and bones.

The game LOOKS great idk why any would complain about the graphics. It's the gameplay and the fact that SE is milking the fuck out of it by splitting across 3 titles that concerns me.

Also no pc version at launch is shit

>muh thigh highs
ZR is useless with stick legs, undershorts and a secondary skirt over the first

I doubt it

imagine the smell

people hated that game because it played like a child's game, not because it looked like one. it's art direction was the most charming thing about it.

Tifa's original hair was better.
