I'm half way through sekiro and it's already one of my favourites, holy fuck, thought it was all memes and it was going to be mediocre since I didn't care much for nioh r8 my list lads:
fave gameplay: sekiro fave lore: bb or das1 fave world: des fave plot/story: bb
>gameplay BB no contest. >lore (referring to historical context of the game) BB tied with DS1. DS3 is a close second. >world DS1. BB is a close second. >plot (basic quest of the protag) Sekiro. I'm a sucker for full fledged rescue quests. >story BB or Sekiro. I enjoy the depth of BB but I can also appreciate the directness and characters of Sekiro.
Overall fave: Probably BB. Sekiro and DS1 are a toss up though. They have different strengths. All the games are good honestly.
Bentley Hill
Bloodborne and Dark Souls are tied, but if I had to choose, I'd go with Bloodborne for the aesthetic alone.
>All the games are good honestly. Imagine being this much of a Fromdrone.
Sekiro is the only game that I consider and actual fleshed out game from From. The other games just seem like experiments and missed opportunities to me. They all have an idea and potential for fun, but their execution always ends up being flat and it’s like it never achieves to meet your hopes of what it should be.
Sekiro on the other hand gave me a tight and meaningful story with great characters and combat that’s actually really fun and right and impressive to master. By the end of the game I felt so satisfied with everything and like it was a full package. I actually have replayed Sekiro more than any other Souls game already, just because of the fun factor I get from it. Which is ironic since people seem to think that its lack of “RPG mechanics” bring down its replayability, but I think they have it wrong. Replayability comes from how fun the game is to actually play.
I still really like Dark Souls think Demons is alright, but its insane how much Sekiro and Bloodborne blow those games out of the water now

>Gameplay Bloodborne >Lore Bloodborne >World Dark Souls 3 >Plot Dark Souls 3. I like the way it ties everything together.
Not sure why story is a separate category so not gonna bother answering. Bloodborne is my favorite overall, but it's pretty meh without DLC. Dark Souls 3 base game is the in the series without DLC. The DLC for 3 is shit though.
Double ape is such a shit boss, I swear miyazaki is a sadist
Elijah Ward
Double ape is easy just use your firecrackers
Evan Martinez
>gameplay overall sekiro, I love the freedom of movement and all that, the combat itself gets old a bit too quick >bloodborne souls >world souls >plot ds1
>overall fav DS1 and BB
As for bosses here's my tier list, as for sekiro: Owl (memory) and Isshin takes S tier for me.
Just run around and attack him during his huge vulnerability windows, brown monkey first as he has no health. I killed him without firecrackers.
Easton Anderson
You mean L1iro?
Justin Mitchell
Yes. Still better than Backstab Souls and R1borne.
Jaxson Taylor

G-guys, I... I have a confession to make. I dropped the game after spending half a day to successfully defeat Butterfly Lady or whatever the name is. I rage too much, my neighbours looked at me with that weird look afterward. I swear at some point while I was fighting her I probably sounded like Hitler during his most intense speech. I want to play Sekiro because the visuals are Kino but fucking hell do I have a chance at being good? Should I just forget it?
I'm not a big gamer. I only play 4 or 5 games a year casually.
Excuse me?
Wyatt Edwards
Once you kill her you should be fine. Honestly even though she's not that hard for some reason I can't fucking kill her worth shit even though I can do the rest of the shit after her just fine. It doesn't help that the fight isn't really that well balanced since they expect you to do it with items that are finite until after the point where you kill her.
Nathaniel Brooks
After I beat the game once I clapped cheeks hard thru 2nd play through. Set the game down for a bit after killing Owl in the memory.
Bloodborne has the best gameplay! Dark Souls 1 has the best of item collection and grandest artistic vision for the world, but it failed to be as big as it dreamed. Sekiro is pretty much the only game with a story, though. In the souls games and Bloodborne you create the character who appears in cut-scenes, so you kind of create your own story. Bloodborne is the most memorable to me, but I really do love Sekiro and Dark Souls 1 closely behind.
I promise I'm not a sonyfag, I just think Bloodborne was the best one.
Landon Cooper
By the time you fight double ape you should have the boss patterns memorized like they're your phone number I found it far easier than OG guardian ape, beat it on my 2nd try in fact. And genichiro took me like 20 tries
David Robinson
My fav is DS2 heheh choke on it u fags

Lmao classic, 1 longcat for you

Can someone tell me if my Sekiro is bugged? I defeated the Corrupted Monk, got the stone flower for the aroma, reported back to Kuro, talked to Emma about using the Mortal Blade to make him bleed, talked to Kuro again, where Wolf insisted we finish the aroma before cutting into him. But I don't have anywhere else to go. The "bottomless hole" leads to Ashina Depths, but I've already been through there with the dual guardian apes, Mibu Village, etc. The only things left for me to do are to face the Shimchen Warrior in the dungeon, or the Headless at Senpou Temple/Ashina Outskirts, and the Headless outside Mibu Village. But all of these seem like optional content.
Lucas Perez
btw don't tell me where to go just call me a retard if there IS somewhere else to go.
Luke Wilson
Genuinely curious as to why? I played it and it just felt mediocre. Only Souls game I had to take a break on for something else.
John Gray
Retard. Search for ice.
Leo Richardson
he's shitposting no one actually thinks DS2 is the best
Eli Adams
>Retard ty >Search for ice. Faggot.
Camden White
Wait, but I've already gotten that important item that the serpent god was guarding. Kuro never commented on it.
Kevin Harris
You beat guardian ape and got the flower?
Luke Davis
Gameplay: Nioh Lore: DS1 World: Ds1 Plot: BB
I don't know why peopel don't like Nioh more, it has the most interesting combat system of any of these games. As in, it actually has a combat system. I haven't play Sekiro though, I hear it's pretty good too.
Adam Harris
Yes.
Elijah Bailey
And you beat Owl?
Ethan Baker
It sounds bugged but 99% of times when people complain of something being bugged they’re just bad so I have a hard time believing you’ve done everything truly.
No. Haven't seen him since Hirata Estate where he died. I dunno, I feel like I have. Cleared the depths, the Bodhisattva valley, Senpou Temple; all the important places. Sounds more and more like I'm fucked. Yes. pic related is most recent screenshot.
this is it really so hard to save one paycheck for a ps4?
