AoT2 is pretty good. I was off put by it not having anime soundtrack but the game does well with the stuff it has. The OC story isn't that bad and then you get to play through Season 3 where it doesn't just repeat what you did for the last 15~20 hours.

In Flesh + Blood, the gf of Stevens (a Rickert type character) gets kidnapped by Martin (a Gambino-Griffith character) and gets raped, in order to stay alive she has to flirt and appeal to Martin. Meanwhile Stevens allies with Hawkwood (a Guts-type character who funnily enough has a female nun gf who has short hair like Casca and is insane like Casca) to beat Martin.
Most of the middle acts of the film are depressive because we see the shit that characters go through, kinda like the middle acts of Berserk.Stevens is captured after, etc
All hope seems lost until Hawkwood survives being infected by the Plague through sheer fucking anger and stabs an infected plague dog and throws it's meat across the castle walls where Martin resides.
Long story short, Martin acts like a retard and manages to get his crew of bandits who worshipped him before to turn on him and fight scenes ensue. Stevens gets his girl back. But his girl has developed SOME kind of Stockholm syndrome because Martin survives, and is seen escaping from the fiery castle. But she says nothing to Stevens. Which leaves uncertainty as to the relationship between Stevens and his GF.

What you'll notice is that Martin gets his own kingdom of sorts like Griffith, and he's charismatic and manages to lead people despite being an insane psychopathic bandit, again like Griffith. But ultimately they turn on him because the Guts and Rickert character (Hawkwood and Stevens) outsmarts him.
Ultimately the series will end with the God Hand and the Idea of Evil still being alive, but Griffith might become a normal human but will have lost everything, and thus if he were to survive his battle with Guts, he would be a dead man in a way, as he'd have nothing, just like Martin. And that unironically is the ultimate defeat of Griffith.

That's just a possibility based on how Griffith has that same tale of ambition as Macbeth, and how Macduff was someone who is not "woman born" (i.e. someone born from a c-section) like Guts who was literally born from a hanged woman's open womb from a tree which would not be considered "woman born". That's still a possibility but I doubt all of them will be killed off, it'll perhaps break the eternal struggle and points out that Guts' struggle might soon end the eternal battle. In a way it makes Guts a side character to the larger story of Skull Knight, but maybe Guts is instrumental in at least starting the beginning of the end between the eternal battle of Skull Knight and his crausade against the God Hand.
