Tips for getting viewers to your stream?

Network with other people who already have viewers. Literally nobody gets big without connections or some source of virality.

Why even care?
If you're going to stream it should be for yourself first, for fun or for learning about how to do it and what you can do. (Because it is presentation/performance skills, and it can be quite rewarding even if nobody's really watching to just practice that)
Chasing the dragons of trend is only going to impact the quality of those streams in the long run and possibly even create a poisonous cult following if you do make it big.
I stream. New shit, old shit. Whatever I feel like shenver I feel like doing it. If people like that, cool, if they dont: whatever I'm still playing the game I like playing anyway.

become buddies with a more popular streamer and leech off them to propel yourself forward, then make more buddies even more popular than them and repeat the process.

ideally though if you could begin leeching off a big streamer you'd shave a lot of time.

Shill and play whatever the fuck is popular or trending. Bonus points if you're a girl or not ugly. Also most importantly: overreact to everything as much as possible even if you have no attachment to it. Pretend to like Star Wars or Marvel

I just started doing a bit of streaming, and focusing on views or growth is not healthy.
Just do what you want and have fun, and that in turn has a positive vibe that will attract viewers.
You may never be big but that shouldn't matter if your having fun.

its much easier if you have an outgoing and exciting personality. being dull and monotone is very boring to watch and listen to.
get really into things. talk to the chat members, ask how theyre doing etc.

That's a short-sighted strategy, though. It's going to give you a big bump in viewers, but you're not going to be around to reap the benefits.

Play the popular game of the week and screech exaggeratedly like a fucking retard. Or play a genre you like and be interesting. You might not be super popular (And why the fuck would you want to be part of that awful culture?) but you won't burn out and might actually have some fun with it.

Don't do it, you essentially have to win the lottery if you want it to be worth the effort.
That being said, consistency. It's a full time job, not something you can just do on the side. Pick a game, consistently stream it, or at least pick games that are similar enough to attract the same kind of viewers. If you do variety streaming from the beginning nobody will know who you are.

Pay for bots and views to artificially make you seem relevant. Then start some drama with another streamer.
