On switch. 2/3 of the way in. It ran fine initially, but near end game the stuff I made has caused my island to chug hard. I havn't even made alot of stuff yet? The biggest thing I made was copying my whole town from the first island (except the tree, fuck building that again) everything else has just been whatever the game makes me have to build. This sucks man. really liked the ending though, it delivered on that traditional bat shit insane ending most jap games give.
THIS GAME RUNS LIKE SHIT!

Wait, I thought the Switch was a current gen console that can rival all other consoles on the market?
>PIaying a cheap japanese shoveIware minecraft rip-off
Considering it's graphically perfectly on par with the ps4 pro in this game, yes.
I dont know what to tell you, i played through the whole game and it ran fine all the way through. I played it entirely in handheld mode and only experienced slowdown while visiting peoples massive islands online.
>game about building becomes unplayable when you build
They didn't think this through, did they?
Not saying much since DQB is like a PS2-tier graphic game.
I played only in handheld to but the game chugs hard if you use the buggy buggy at all, a huge bummer cause I was gonna make roads. I forgot to mention the buggy, my bad.
but rip-off is better than original
It works fine on my PS4
Which is why the ps4 has 17 fps on average?
Does it though? And what is the switch average?
unless youre terraforming mountains and building massively dense buildings you will never experience slowdown while building in the switch version.
your square dirt roofless houses will not cause slowdown
it does, but somehow nobody complains about it.
Even the ps4 pro at 1080p drops down to 17.
But I am building those type of buildings. Are you saying that I should limit my self because the game was shoddly ported?
oh wow a BUILDING game where you can't BUILD things
>your square dirt roofless houses will not cause slowdown
Why waste money on it when that's the extent of what you can safely build.
learn to read, nobody said to limit youself
the better performance on ps4 was known for well over 6 months, you only have yourself to blame if you still chose the switch version and expected it to run on par with the ps4 version
But this guy says it runs equally shit on PS4 too
It runs 9 fps better on ps4, so still under 25 at all times, nowhere near "well".
>buggy buggy
More like CHUGGY buggy, am I right?
I've had some slowdown happen on PS4 whenever the game generated too many gratitude hearts on my isle.
One hit to the bell and the issue's fixed
So I can't be mad when a game runs like crap?
