Dark Souls 3 is the best Souls game, I just wish the PVP didn't get worse since Dark Souls 1. I ain't played Bloodborne. Demon's Souls is great but 1 is better than it in every way and only delusional retards hate Dark Sous 3 (DeS 2) and love DeS.

I dislike the pvp in ds3, I do like the variety, the amount of weapons to use, but I don't like the animations, the meta, the few overpowered weapons, the absurd low cost of stamina to do everything and how easy is in that game to just press a single button to make an unstoppable jumping combo like in any devil may cry that does 200% of the hp of the enemy.

That's why the Black Knight Greatsword with Perseverance is soooooo amazing. Press a button to deny their combo and outdamage them, winning the trade.

about 500 hours on my main bloodborne character, top 300 in boss kills for the league, i love helping randoms with depth 5 cursed dungeons so i do that all day long, 40 million echoes - can't really say my total time for souls games but it's gotta be in the thousands, maybe close to 10k - played demon's souls, ds1, ds2 for ps3, ds1 ptd, ds1 remastered, ds2, ds2 sotfs and ds3 for pc, and finally ds1 remastered, ds2 sotfs and ds3 for ps4. i have sekiro for pc and ps4 too but i haven't really sat down to do full plays of them yet due to work

I think it's great, but it all depends on what you're looking for. I like the customization and being in charge of my own little wrestling company. A lot of people shit on it because they just want to watch cutscenes of their favorite wrestlers.

I don't want to attack your comment because thats a good strategy, but I think the game offers just a handful of meta builds to fight and the battles becomes players using the top notch thing to fight, the unbalanced stuffs and I dislike that.
For example, when playing DS2 I made a build with poison and daggers, I knew that I was fucked because of the reach and the damage to the poise. But the game gave me the posibility to use daggers in powerstance (thing that I don't know why they didn't implemented in DS3) and to use items to boost the poise damage and poison effectivity and damage, I love the build I made and is useful in pvp, of course it is if I'm playing well in the first place againts other players.

So I felt disappointed when I realize that I couldn't just combine the daggers I liked to use to attack at the same time, I had to use a presetted pair of daggers and only those, because those were the only daggers in pair. Then I realize that the poison was specific and it was no way to boost the damage, in fact, damage was stuck at the same number, a really low one, poison became useless, it wasn't a good way to apply pressure anymore.
Then poise was boosted, a lot. and because of the low use of stamina to do anything and the speeded up animations, I just couldn't use the daggers in pvp, the moment I land just 1 attack, the enemy would always spam click and destroy me. And I couldn't get them to drain all their stamina after applying pressure while poisoned, because they would dodge roll like 7 times without stopping and they would be fine and out of reach, or they would spam dodge roll 5 times and then stand up with an attack that if landed, it would take like 40% of my hp. And I could land 10 hits to anyone with the daggers and making only 50% of their hp, but If they landed just a single hit with any meta weapon they would destroy me.

And thats the problem, If I played 10 matches in pvp, I would see 9 of them using the exact same meta builds.

this game would be amazing if it had more content and better areas to explore - like the framework of destiny is spot on, classes work, the guns feel mostly good to great, good enemy variety. visuals are pretty stunning in places. THERE'S JUST NOTHING TO FUCKING DO in most of the zones besides public quests/lost sector farming and working up to the hard mode strikes. like holy fuck, there's barely anything to find, barely any story beats outside the missions, fuck all in terms of actual exploration. i want to like destiny so much but it's like the game is shooting itself in the foot constantly

why does ds2 being liked have to be such a big deal, it's a great game, all the souls games are pretty great and it's largely personal preferences that determine which one someone likes the most.

I'm saying that the pvp is better, in fact I dislike the world design of DS2, I think in that regard DS3 is better, but that game will never surpass DS1 in world design.

i do a full 40 hours a week with optional weekend overtime for pay and a half - i don't bring any work home with me though so once i clock out that's it, free to do as i please and no gf so my time is whatever i want it to be

2 feels like a cheap knockoff, similar to something like lords of the fallen.

DS2 feels like a fangame until the DLCs brought back a lot of what was lacking (artstyle, area design, boss quality)
I found it alarming that half of the vanilla bosses in DS2 could be a mini-boss type enemy (tough enemy that doesn't respawn) in any other Souls game. Dragonrider, Flexile, Ruin Sentinels are such a throwaway bosses that turn into normal mobs that don't feel as good when you replay the game, it's like the opposite of Capra and Taurus being copy-pasted in Izalith. In the Burg, they have their own role and are acknowledge by the game, but it gets muddled when you get to the endgame area and it's obvious it was rushed.
Even the Dragon asses have a better reason to be there than all those demons.

You can call it a great game because it is better than most other games that come out, but calling it the best game in the series is just fucking retarded. There are so many things wrong with Dark Souls 2 that other games in the series did not have problems with and it doesn't do anything particularly better than other Souls games. The only positive thing Dark Souls 2 brought to the series was finding a way to make dual wield work.
