I would say white and black works but my main complaint is gold works better with darker colors frankly, I just think white and gold is not a good pairing. Its also why I tend to avoid those colors for Prime Warframes.

Also white looks decent with solid darker colors compared to how light gold is. Something like a yellow or orange can look great with white.

I think the screen itself since its in the center creates it own balance, at the end of the day though this shits all subjective.

My Limbo has a good balance on colors, however I put armor on him that never really worked for looks frankly.

The shoulder buttons are a bit much. Gold is an accent meant to complement whatever its slapped on to. Try and find a gold d pad, put the original shoulder buttons back, and take the white caps off the sticks(too much). The gold parts you have also look kind of cheap, but it's not like you'll find better. White and gold is pure, but the gold can be super tacky/overpowering if done poorly/overdone.

That would make it better and let him keep his white and gold thing. I think another problem is how cheap and matte the white shell looks. I like the classic white with famicom buttons, personally. Everyone does it, but it looks really good. Also white base with red/blue accents looks alright(similar to the pokemon switch mini) but that's just my take.

This is my ps4 pro

Basically I stripped it bare, mounted it to a sheet of aluminium and attached a Raijintek Morpheus 2 GPU cooler with 2 noctua 140mm fans.
The fans are spliced into the ps4's 12v rail and I'm using the ultra low noise adapters so they're basically silent.

It's inaudible unless I'm playing a game on disc instead of digital.

If I were to overhaul it but keep the precious metal thing, I'd do black/silver and try to find nonshit cheap chrome buttons. Maybe replace buttons with cut diamonds. Put clock faces in the sticks idk some niggery shit.

OP here. The shells for the joycons were from the SNES style that came with red/blue/yellow/green buttons (which I'm not a fan of. They're cool but not to my liking).I bought the gold buttons separately and were the best gold ones I could find. The only other options were yellow so this was the best I could get for the aesthetic.

most of it was easy.
The mounting hardware that comes with the cooler just barely fits the spacing on the ps4 pro.
To make it fit in a roughly box shaped space (I originally planned to build a custom enclosure for this) I had to mount the PS4's power supply upside down and fabricate custom cables to go from the power supply to the motherboard (the mobo has metal pins protruding that directly enter the power supply and make connection).

Disagree. Gold can be paired with earth tones in fashion and blues in fashion and it will bring vibrance and class to an outfit. Shiny af gold decor is usually gross, but a patina or smoothing can make it an excellent accent piece to go in dark, chamber like rooms or airy and open ones(shiny okay here in well lit areas). The right joycon did have fitting issues. Part of a clip that holds the battery inside the joycon was too long and pushed the case outwards right next to the analog stick so I had to file it down slightly and loosen the screws on the back a tiny bit. This completely fixed the issue. No problems with the buttons and they work as normal.
The left one fitted perfectly.

I wish the red joycons were actually red instead of the soft neon whatever they are.

The most annoying thing is seeing Youtubers attempt it and explaining how they broke at least one pair of joycons trying to do it. If you have patience and follow the steps carefully you won't have any problems.

The other minor buttons are still black and contrast better with that white. Gold doesn't look good on that white and the surface you have on those buttons looks slippery.
