So if DMC6 adds another character, what kind of play style would you like to see, another summoner or something completely new?

Personally I liked V's aesthetic and personality a lot, really wish he wasnt literally a Vergil clone.

I miss the days when it was just metaphorical power of heart pulling them to victory, it went nicely together with Sparda, a 100% demon, achieving all what he did after awakening to justice.

to be completely honest i dont really want a new character, rather than having dante nero and vergil in the same game (on release) with even more indepth and explored movesets with a story that is even more kino than dmc5's was

I suppose it just goes to show just how incredibly powerful Sparda was in his prime.

Really baffled why DMCfags don't think this is as edgy or even moreso than DmC Dante.

Humanity is like a steppy stool for demonlets without the motivation to get strong on their own. Mixing humanity and motivation gets crazy though

I think a new character would be nice if their fighting style was fun enough. I think we have pretty much hit the ceiling in terms of complexity when it comes to Dantes moveset. I physically cannot use all of Dantes moves and styles to their full extent. Nero could probably still use some tweaking though.

I really find DMC charming but the strange obsession with the story is a bit unwarranted. To continue having games, the series will inevitably have to have more and more outlandish scenarios take place to keep things both interesting and dangerous for the characters. People say 5 has a fanfic tier story but 4s story is much more like a fanfiction desu.

I think you just need to enjoy whats good and accept the intended emotional impacts of the story while leaving the goofy stuff behind. DMC3s story was only so kino because it was lightning in a bottle.

Yeah, they tried too hard to be edgy and serious, what makes DMC so good is the mix between being serious and cheesy at the right times.
They should also had focused on the plot-holes, why didn't they went to save Sparda? And why Sparda is treated like a bitch when he was Mundus right arm?

Because Nero has character. He acts cocky and funny because that's what Dante does and he respects Dante. So it also really burns him up when the guy he respects calls him dead weight. There's a reason they start the game with that.

Yes, at this point the Sparda bros are WAY above Sparda, hell, Nero is close to Sparda's power. But pretty sure Mundus will return with either a power up or shenanigans that will allow him to rival Sparda bros.

First time I saw that he had the doppelganger out and I was just imagining Vergil alternating lines with it.

The Twins beat the shit out of each other just then for about half an hour when Nero went in for the interrupt.
Nero was also riding high on the power of familial love so he had plenty of heart on his side.

Dante wielding the Sparda could beat the shit out of Mundus, so Vergil who is his equal when Dante upgraded to DSD could probably do it.
But like others have said Mundus will get a power up.

This meme really needs to end. There are a lot of retards who equate Trish talking about human blood empowering demon's meaning that Nero is stronger, or has more potential, than Vergil and Dante because he is more human than they are. Trish IS NOT talking about human/demon genetics when she says this. She's specifically talking about the fucking fruit (which is like millions of human's worth of blood condensed into a single source) giving demon's a giant power boost.

They're stronger than full demon's because they have a heart and fight for righteous/just causes as well as loved ones. It's the same reason Sparda was so powerful compared to literally every demon despite being 100% demon himself.

Nero is not stronger than SDT Dante or Vergil, he interrupted them after they had been fighting for 20+ minutes. Even Arkham, a weak human with minor demon powers, was able to beat Dante/Lady/Vergil all at the same time when they were tired from fighting. Nero won in the end for the same reason DMC characters always win in every game, because he was fighting to protect his loved ones and was the most righteous protagonist. Vergil was probably just fucking around with him too on top of that.

The first game is all about your DT, refil it by taunting alot and fighting while not getting hit. The game rewards for utility, not style(style is just for orbs).

Yeah user, everybody knows SDT is stronger then DT, but Nero is now atleast slightly under Sparda's level which is enough to make him hold his own against a bunch of demons no. And Nero is pretty strong nowsince he accepted his demon side and still is a emotionfag.

Reminder that Nero performed better against Vergil, forma tentaculos, without DT than Dante in DT, meaning that Nero with his devil breakers before awakening was already stronger than that old retard.

It's shown and said that taking millions of humans blood, condensing it and eating it in a special tree does. It is never said nor shown that being more human than demon makes you stronger.

Sparda woke up to justice and waxed Mundus and the entire demon force. The same Mundus who are the fruit Vergil was after.

Human blood isn't what makes characters OP, is the human heart. Sparda had a heart and that's what made him strong enough to beat Mundus.
