Yes.
Going to enjoy it even more when Three ouses released
Mario Maker 2 has been eating up a lot of time.
I wanna sit down and play Mega Man 11, but I just can't when there's so much fun Mario to be done.
Yeah, been playing tiny metal fmr and its great although I wish there was an xcom title on the switch
Waiting for astral chain to release now and the wait is killing me
What shall I play first, Dragon Quest Builders or Katamari Damacy?
Since the switch is getting ports of mobile games, do you think there's a chance we will get SMT dx2?
Yup. I'm away from home atm for another month and the Switch plus my gaming laptop are a blessing. Being able to comfortably play wherever is nice. Bought an Anker powerbank before I left and I can play for long times undocked.
Sad thing is that my data is very limited here so I can't buy+download any of the new games and I won't be able to play Astral Chain at launch but I'm looking forward to coming back home to play Dragon Quest Builders 2 and Astral Chain, in the meantime I'm working on finishing all the MAXIMA content of World of Final Fantasy and finishing Tales of Vesperia.
Highly unlikely, I believe. I really want some news on SMTV that's not just "we're still developing it", however.
Why does Silk Song look so much better than the first Hollow Knight?
Shit build quality and paid online aside, it's alright. I have no idea what to play on it.
builders will suck 150 hours of your life away before you realize what happened
Shakedown Hawaii.
Yes. Been playing CTR and not much else.
yes
>”Here’s your SMTV, bro.”
If a switch can enter RCM mode does that mean it can be hacked or is actually pushing the payload what's patched in newer models
Of course, i finished hollow knight last weekend and now I'm going through Trials of Mana and God Eater 3 when I have the time.
Backlog: octopath, xenowaifu 2 and TWEWY
Currently waiting:
>July: Kill La Kill IF
>August: Astral Chain
>September: River City Girls, Daemon X Machina and DQ11
>October: Digimon Cyber Sleuth and Luigi's Mansion 3
>November: Pokemon
I love this console.
Well, I've had Mario Maker and Astral Chain in mind. But I'm a poor nigger so I can only get one of them. Can't get the vouchers which end next week anyways.
I finished two games this week, Final Fantasy Adventures and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
Now I can start paying Fire Emblem guilt free because I don't have other games playing on my switch
I think Shakedown is like 20. And it gets free updates. The latest one just added tanks.
Because the devs have more experience now and can polish their games better
Which games have the best aim control when it come to shooters? (tps or fps).
Just want to use gyro control for aim, not for random shit like in 1-2 switch
>I'm a poor nigger so I can only get one of them
You have to post a pic of one of your switch games or your console with your black hand on it now
Splatoon 2 has gyro controls
That Disney switch is Ludo as fuck
Grinded the whole fucking day yesterday just for this skill, Cachexia. On 2 chars. Anyone familiar with The Last Remnant
know it was worth it. Superboss dead.
Hey Picrossbro, the new one came out today, no? Will try it when I get home.
Yes
>tfw Three Houses and Astral Chain the GOTY within a month of each other
Yeah, I'm thinking the switch is BASED
GIVE ME SOME GOOD SWITCH ACCEDORIES
Nice Wojak loser, where'd you get it? The Wojak store? Later, nerd!
The Hori PlayStand or the official adjustable charging stand from Nintendo. Either way both are kino as fuck and are what the built-in kickstand should've been. I use the latter and connect it through USB to my laptop for charging (I still charge it through the AC adapter, but that's used on the dock). Very comfy.
Why didn't anyone tell me Mario Odyssey was so great?
You played Mario Rabbids yet? It's not XCOM, but it's fun. Also 25 dollar on the eshop now for the gold edition
It ain't. Though it retroactively made 3D World less disappointing.
Any other games which aren't online? I didn't paid for nintendo online
Why does Yea Forums pretend that Pokemon Let's Go is bad?
>I use the latter and connect it through USB to my laptop for charging
Your switch will die
I heard Doom's got great motion controls. Might want to check that out.
>tfw waiting on J&L to get the Three Houses collector's edition in
deliver me
user, Kill la Kill if is out today
If you have Amazon Prime you can get a year of free NSO through Twitch.
What game is that? I don't recognize it
It's mobile hardware, so I figure it should be no different than charging a phone through USB. I haven't seen any side effects caused by this, and I've been doing it for more than a year. I'll look into it.
>buy hollow knight on PC
>don't really game on PC so never get into it
>rebuy it on switch
>have a blast while on vacation and get to radiance
>can't beat radiance because of the input lag from the tv to the controllers
>can't beat radiance on handheld because my hands are cramped from the uncomfortable design
>Hollow knight comes out on gamepass
>beat the game again
>rake in achievements
>beat the radiance
What a good fucking game
pic related is still haunting my dreams... I don't know if I can do it bros
The Last Remnant
The skull n co cover grip, it add a thin protection and grips which allow you to play in a much more comfy way your games in portable mode, as if you were handling a actual controller
I believe in you, user.
Octopath is surprisingly good
I don't really get why there is little to no exp buff for defeating a boss though
I don't have it sadly
Oh thanks, already played it on PC but I might give it a try for switch version, what about wolfeinstein on switch?
Haven't done any version of that game
Are these joy-con grips good?
Damacy
Splatoon, Arms, Sheepy, Dragon Quest X if you live in the USA.
oh it says here it comes out tomorrow
metacritic.com
Dosent last remnant have level scaling making grinding actively bad for you?
>Arms
Didn't the playerbase of Arms disappear approximately 2 days after it came out?
Sort of. Still easy to find a match. Otherwise if you grab a buddy it’s pretty fun.
Lacks content so maybe wait for a sale, but it’s pretty great
Can you guys recommend some games? Just bought my Switch, and it's hackeable. But other than BOTW and Mario Oddyssey I'm openly to play everything else. Do you guys have a Yea Forums recommended game list up to date? Indies/first parties/third parties/ports, I don't care.
Can you stop posting this retarded list?
is this art by fupoo?
Just finished Bloodstained, I do regret a bit not getting it for pc, but I still enjoyed it. Was going to get valkyria chronicles 4 for it, but for it pc instead. Also getting dragon quest builders 2 soon. Gotta get back into 1 and finish it, I'm on the last island
Higher BR means enemies have more HP and better stats. But BR goes up after every few battles (it depends on number of enemies you kill, actually). Grinding is not bad if you raised your stats along with it. What I mean is, if you keep fighting weaker enemies your BR will go up, but stats won't. But if you fight stronger enemies your BR will (of course) go up, but so will your stats.
And for this piece of shit skill I had to grind from BR 76 to fucking 103. (in Ancient Ruins, of course)
Without it, Demigod is basically impossible.
I think I killed everything in this game. All that's left is Absolute Conqueror. Unless remaster has some optional bosses not present in OG X360 version.
Excellent suggestion.
Should I start BOTW or Mario+Rabbids next, lads?
You know what user, yes I am.
It's a fantastic console (with its letdowns) and I love to sit down and play games with the pro controller.
I love the fact that I can take it with me and that games are beautiful made and with love.
I'm tired of negativity around this console, is a console that reminds me of the good times, being a child and carrying with my my gameboy color, so yes, I like my Switch.
I waited a lot, looking for an old model to hack, but I decided to just pay for games that I like and I'm having a blast.
Stay mad haters.
When are the new joycon colours getting released? I always play on pro and I HATE the joycon drift but that purple and orange is nice...
What tips would you advice me before I start playing this game?
Hopefully they're fixing the drift and then releasing them
I imagine the lawsuit has lead to a delay
Rabbids. Dish out for the donkey Kong dlc if you can, it’s the best part.
Can finish it in like 15 hours or so, botw takes ages to finish.
Same boat, if they announce the drift has been fixed and general build quality upgraded, I’ll get a p/o set
No
I'm planning on buying a Switch but I need to know something first, my monitor doesn't have speakers and I want to play docked on it, can I plug a headset on the Switch while it's docked?
Thanks user, I'll go with Rabbids. I have less than $100 in credit available to make purchases until I get paid again next Thursday, so I won't be able to grab the DK DLC until at least then, though.
I just tested it with mine and it seems to work fine, but I can't guarantee that it works completely properly. I can't see any reason why it shouldn't work generally, though.
>I sure am enjoying Splatoon 2, I'll just put it on hold so I can play FFVII, just for a bit
>I sure am enjoying FFVII, I'll just put it on hold so I can play BOTW, just for a bit
>I sure am enjoying BOTW, I'll just put it on hold so I can play Odyssey, just for a bit
GUYS HELP
There are people on this board who are far better at SaGa games, because The Last Remnant is a SaGa game, but if you ask me... Few things:
>after the intro you will have only 3 units (party members), and after certain story parts your max team members will go up, every time by 3
What that means is
>make unions (groups) of 3 members, no more no less, until you reach Aqueducts
>slow down time (you will get this ability soon) and use it to ''mark'' more enemies' groups on screen and try to fight more enemies at the same time, as you will recieve better rewards. Look at this way, in this game you have something called morale. Look at my pic and see the line between words 'Allies' and 'Enemies'. If the line is mostly red or completely red at the beginning of the fight it means enemy has some sort f ''advantage'' over you but that is good, because you will get better rewards at the end. Remember, red line is good AT THE BEGINNING of the fight; if you reduce it during the fight, it won't affect the outcome
>do not ignore spell casters or Hex users (like I did)
>try to make a team of spell casters, team of healers, team of attackers etc.
>do side quests because some of them will unlock new party members (but you will have to recruit them aka ''buy'' them)
>use Mr. Dig as much as you can
Keep in mind that you can't change equipment of party members, except for main char. They will ask you to lend them a weapon or ring; that is how you give it to them.
Also, you can ''lock'' a certain abilities your characters have so they won't use them in the fight. This sounds like a stupid explanation. basically, you can't pick commands in fight manually, it's more like they're... based on luck. But if you lock weaker skills, then your chars will only use strong ones. Assuming they have enough AP
Saw some Redditfag who had an interesting system, he'd choose seven games and only play each game one day of the week. So like BOTW - Monday, Odyssey - Tuesday, etcetera. Then when he'd beat one, he'd replace that with another game.
Post a better one then
i have ultimate and odyssey, not sure what to buy next. don't want any indies that i can already play/pirate on my pc.. and botw is better emulated..
It'll work with any 3.5mm cable. I can plug my PC speakers into my switch just fine, I sometimes use my Sennheiser HD650's too with a 1/4" to 3.5mm converter and it works just fine.
Here you go
Took 5 seconds and its less retarded than yours
Just to add few more things to my post:
>in towns you can upgrade your weapons, but if you use them a lot in battles you will make them stronger, too (they will get +1 or +2 etc near their names)
>you learn abilitis during and after the fight; to learn phys arts you have to use phys arts, to learn Hexes you have to use Xexes, to learn Traps you have to use Traps etc
>you will learn new arts and level up current ones (this is why you can see V aka number 5 near Mighty Double Strike skill or II near Cachexia); max lv for every skill is 5 and no, they won't take more AP when you use them
Not the best explanation, but you know Final Fantasy 7? Imagine if Ice 2 replaces Ice 1. Better spell, but still same MP use.
reviews are up boys
first list that actually makes sense
How soon do you think MUA3 will drop in price?
>go on eshop
>Overlord Picross
what the fuck?
I told you.
Currently debating whether to pick up Resident Evil 4 again lads
Just plug the headphone in the Switch. I always do it when I play docked and I never had any problems with it
It's still fucking great, but I pirated the Switch version because making RE4 ten dollars more expensive for no added features is a shit thing to do.
Rabbids is like 20 bucks
I have no idea why this comment made me laugh as much as it did.
Yeah, but I wish more good exclusive games were on it. I’d rather play multiplats on my PC
>but portability!
The Switch is too big and fragile to be played portable. That and my joycons have drifted to death. So I just do console mode, I like it most this way, personal preference. I wish they’d done a switch upgrade instead of the lite, but Nintendo is only focused on games. Their hardware and online department is just a con job basically.
>3 Houses
As a longtime FE fan, I’m very nervous about 3H. Either this is the ascension of the series into something grand and first party worthy, or it’s the downfall as it’s turned into yet another Persona dating sim ripoff with shallow RPG mechanics. I’ve played every game in the series, and I don’t think any of them are “bad” per se, but Fates definitely felt like it sacrificed a lot just for the anime audience. I believe we can have the best of both worlds here, but Intsys probably doesn’t feel the same since they’re now a gachashit company.
>Anything else?
Finally playing BOTW master mode. I feel like I remember too much of this game to have that fun magic feeling, but the new challenge is pretty nice.
Of course I do, I’m playing the demo of Kill la Kill if, Lethal League Blaze and Just shapes & beats. In october I’m gonna buy Digimon Cyber Sleuth with my gold coins
Post underrated games
Is Hyrule Warriors worth picking up?
Yep, that's what I do.
Still haven't bought a switched because waiting for a special edition. I missed the Pokemon and Smash ones, will there be any special editions for Zelda or Animal crossing, or any other games in the future?
i imagine animal crossing will have one
I wish Nintendo would actually use some of the features of the switch. HD rumble would be amazing, or some more Labo VR stuff. Instead they released a switch lite that supports neither of this things.
Same with the Wii, Wii U, Xbox Kinect, PS4 touchpad/controller lights. If you have a feature but don't support it a week after release you might as well don't have the feature and lower the price.
Otherwise good console, especially now when PS4 is censoring everything. I still wish it had more power but I guess that's how Nintendo makes consoles.
where the fuck is SMT V
At TGS
Yeah. It’s the best warriors game.
>Tsum Tsum
>Soum Soum
>Zoom Zoom
Just sold my switch to buy a second ps4 for my bedroom. Honestly, why would you want games that are 480p and 25 fps like the switch has
wish the switch had more storage space, my 128gb stick is already nearly full.
I think I like the fact of playing a 3rd person shooter in bed but I'm already halfway through on the PS4 version
i've been enjoying tiny metal but i hate how every mission with the radar for hero drop ins has the "dont use hero drop ins" bonus objective
like what the fuck how am i supposed to level these guys up for the one mission where you allow me to use them
At least the switch HAS games, sweatie
;)
Is it still great even if you're not familiar with the warriors series?
>got a 64gb card
>install 2 digital games and some demos that should add up to 25 gigs
>it takes up 30
When is asphalt coming out for switch?
Will it have crossplay with android?
I haven't touched my switch in almost a year and I realized Nintendo games are boring and easy. Suggest me some games. And not indie shit, I already play those on my vita or pc.
>new picross
this?
>boring and easy
not nintendo's fault you don't like being comfy
Yes, that's the one. I bought it and preloaded it a few days ago. Apparently, it's coming out today. I'm not at home so I can't check, but around 11 AM it was still unavailable. (it's almost 5 PM here now)
Boring is comforting? Interesting.
I've been playing DQV DS since my joycon started drifting. If it still worked I'd be playing more MHGU or getting to Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon. Or buying more Metal Slug.
When do they reply to repair tickets?
Baba is You is exellent and works well on a portable system.
Yes, that's how I use mine.
>tfw undocking my switch to play Smash ulti at my computer and finding streamer lobbies to join
>chatting up everyone else and getting reactions and opinions about the fights going on
I say that, but it's not easy finding a good streamer.
Way too many of them are incredibly silent or basically afk hosting without even paying attention to the game they're streaming.
It's the best you can do without anyone to play with locally though.
it isn't.
I am playing Okami HD and it's so comfy.
Should I get a Switch for Splatoon 2, F.E Three Houses, Bayonetta 1&2 and BotW?
Did you play any of these games, if "yes" then what do you think of them?
Got one a month ago, it's been great for dragging the household out into the living room for comfy multiplayer times. Even got my mom playing 50cc mario kart. Can't bring myself to play anything but mario maker and BotW though since it seems autistic to practice kart and smash alone when no one else does.
And how's Xenoblade Chronicles 2?
I recommend BotW and Xenoblade 2 because I played them and I love them. If you're a completionist, Xeno2 will be your fucking nightmare. There is so much to do in this game.
I will tell you about Three Houses more in a few days.
Would you recommend Xeno for someone mainly plays western rpgs?
>Splatoon 2
Splatoon 2 is a nice time waster but I only played for like 30 or so hours
>Bayo 1&2
Both are really solid action games with an absurd amount of combos. I didn't like the story and characters of 2 that much, but the gameplay was better
>BotW
I personally didn't like it as much as seemingly everyone but it's worth playing. I respect a lot what it was trying to do, I just feel like it lost a bit of it's appeal some hours into it once the repetition sets in. But for some it's one of the greatest games of all time so who knows
>XB2
If you like JRPGs and don't mind anime stuff too much then this one is great. It's flawed in some aspects (like the gacha stuff), but to me the character interactions were enough to make me spend 100h on it
there's no Japanese audio for xbc2 right?
Err... No. That person will probably hate XB2 jokes and those less serious moments.
Any news about the revision Switch?
Are they seriously going to roll it out silently next month?
Splatoon 2 is a great 3rd person shooter with a presentation that puts other shooters to shame. Definitely worth it.
BotW is downright revolutionary in terms of open world games and should be played by everyone in any way possible.
Bayonetta 1&2 are great action games and a must have if like like Platinum games or just action games in general.
Haven't played FE yet but reviews seem really positive. If you want a massive game with tons of content, strategic combat and a focus on characters and story you'll like it
There is
>it isn't.
I know, that's why I'm wondering why Yea Forums pretends it is.
it has jp audio, I think you need to download it from the eshop (it's free)
It depends what is it you enjoy from western rpgs. If it's sidequests then no, it it's character progression, both in gameplay and story, then yes. The world is also really detailed and fun to explore, but it isn't your usual open world game, it's more like a bunch of pretty big maps you can freely explore
Anyone have one of these Hori Switch stands? How are you liking it?
I'm thinking of either getting it or the smaller official charging stand for a plane ride next month. Would prefer a little more height to the switch then having my head facing down towards it.
I wouldn't mind Dragalia on the switch.
I have one, it's pretty nice. The height is fine, I think if it was higher it wouldn't be too stable.
Playing xenoblade 2 right now, pretty damn comfy. Also playing sdb heroes. The switch is overall a pretty great console, loving it so far
>still no dragalia lost in europe
I want to pick up Cuphead because it's perfect for the Switch, I just know I'll be awful at it
Hahahaha. Try Ikaruga, you'll be even worse at that game.
its not a revision, just an updated model with better battery life. there are no other improvements besides that.
This. This is the first time I've actually lost sleep over a video game in like 5 years. I almost never play video games for more than 2 hours a session. Yesterday I literally played it for 7 hours straight and didnt even realize it. All I'm concerned about is this stupid fucking video game. My hygiene has taken a nose dive and I've showed up late for work at least 5 times since the game came out. (I'm usually always on time). When ever someone is speaking to me, I'm thinking of Dragon Quest Builders 2. I cant sleep. I cant think. I just need to build. Its literally Crack: The Video Game.
>playing Valkyria Chronicles 4
>mfw Vancey
Holy shit my sides
Yes. Been having a great time with Builders 2, and bought Immortal Redneck on sale. It's been hot as fuck out lately and I don't have AC, so I'm sitting in front of a fan and playing handheld. Pretty comfy all things considered.
I played Dragalia for months on mobile but the grind was just too much. I'll stick to Dokkan.
Buy this one, it has 4 usb ports and a usb-c port for charging
I feel you. Yesterday I meant to take a walk and eat dinner, but just didn't because Builders. I got home from work around 5 and it was 1am before I knew it and I needed to go to sleep.
I love it. But all I've really been doing with it is playing CTR until Fire Emblem comes out.
Wolfenstien Youngblood has a demo on the eShop
Neat, I'll give that a try later, thanks user
I've got so many games I want to finish.
I have to take my Smash Bros Kart out of the system because every time I boot it up, that's all I play.
joke works for monster's inc since mike is naturally short for a corner's barcode to cover him. that shit's just placed incorrectly.
>fire emblem 3 houses phyiscal is $69
>mua3 phyiscal is $68
>vouches are $134.95
>save a whooping $2.05 not including gold coins
Straya m8
I’m waiting for the switch with the better battery life to be released before buying it. I gotta play Three Houses.
>day-one reviews aggregated from shill blogs
Ummm like sweetie
That USB hub is double the price of the regular stands. The aeroplane I'm on will have the usb port built into the seat to charge the Switch. I dunno what I would use all those extra usb ports for if I'm just playing on tabletop mode with the joycons.
My phone is USB-C so it's convenient for that.
>Three Houses
>Mario Maker 2
>DQB2
>Astral Chain
I'm thinking of going full retard and buying 4 vouchers
>Full retard
>By saving 40 bucks
???
Has anyone attempted to get the rumored free joycon repair? I sent in a ticket the day of the news, got a shipping label last night and dropped it off today. There was no further information other than to drop it off. Not sure if that's standard procedure or not.
I want to do this but three houses comed out tomorrow so i need them
I'm buying a Switch when the revison comes out but I'm buying some games in advance because they're much cheaper on amazon. So far I'm getting
>Super Mario Maker 2
>Breath of the Wild
>Dark Souls
>Mario Kart 8
Any other must buys to add on my list? I kinda wanna get Splatoon but I don't want to pay full price for a dead or dying game
Quick, should I grab Saints Row III while it's on sale? Does it really run bad on Switch? And is it a fun game to just run around in, aimlessly if I wanna?
I'm kind of afraid Fire Emblem is gonna be too long. All these previews I heard about one path taking potentially 80 hours has me worried because I don't know that a Fire Emblem game needs to be Persona length. The gameplay can't possibly be shaken up enough that it's still fun for 80 hours. It makes me worried the story will be very bloated or something and it's going to feel like a drag after a while.
Dragon Quest Builders 2
Cuphead
Xenoblade 2
how likely is MHGU going on sale next month?
The game released in August of 2018 so maybe it'll go on flash sale soon right bros?
im so fucking poor and the switch just demands you to have a job to enjoy.
For what it's worth Splatoon is my favorite of the five games you mentioned, and although it's unfortunate it's not getting any more content, it's not dead and it won't be any time soon. You also shouldn't have to pay full price if you're not in a rush
Haven't preordered digital games in a very long time, will I be able to play FE at 00:00 tonight or is there some other logic to it?
Splatoon 2 is not dead at all. It just doesn't get any new updates anymore. Online is still alive and well.
I recommend Mario Odyssey but Splatoon 2 is also a great game. Make sure to buy the Octo expansion, it's amazing
yes
It's 50% off right now on the EU store and it was cheap on the US store not that long ago iirc.
Dark souls is a really bad port
Monster hunter
Bayonetta or xbc2 if you think they look interesting
I don't mind giving up a week or two of games if I can finally play without trying to beat the camera into submission.
I enjoy it, but haven’t touched it much since I went back to Xenoblade about 2 months ago.
I only recently got Splatoon and only had time to participate in two splatfests and I can tell you while they were fun, they were nowhere near the star of the game and people will continue to keep playing it for sure.
>Dark souls is a really bad port
Is it now? I read good reviews. I've already played the game a ton so I might skip it then. Also isnt MH a 3DS port?
Playing the fuck out of Splatoon grinding perfect gear and taking breaks on botw in between if I start raging from bullshit too hard and need to chill
Dark Souls is fine on Switch, it's just the audio is a bit compressed and the A and B buttons are swapped in menus.
Hey does anyone have that Chocobo mystery dungeon game from the e-shop? I played the shit out of the one on wii back in the day was wondering if it was any good or just a port of that game or what? Thanks switch bros
The audio is fucked
You're better off playing it on any other platform, aside from maybe ps3/360
>playing the garbage re-release versions
>better
No.
The switch version is the re-release dumbass
Without the shitty rerelease downgrades.
Yes, I'm playing Hyrule warriors and Mario Maker 2 until Astral Chain comes out
I don't care about FE
I already have it on every other platform. It just sounds comfy to play Dark Souls on the go. I'll probably just skip it and get another exclusive instead.
Why?
Smash Ultimate
For once, yes. Playing MM2 and Magicat.
I have buyers remorse about everything, I’m debating on getting a switch when the new model comes out which I really only want for Mario maker atm since none of the other games will ever go on sale.I’m way too cheap to buy 2 year old games for $50. Is it still worth it even if I just rent the games at gamestop?
Is there a guide on how to quickly unlock all the fighters in World of Light?
I feel like im wasting my time with these spirits when all I care about is unlocking fighters.
I miss Smash 64's unlock system.

I could go on but I think we’ve all seen enough to agree that owning a Nintendo Switch is undesirable.
no, go read book instead

Theyre alright, triggers are a bit rubbery and the dock is shit, but its pretty comfortable

if you have an xbox 360 or xbone or ps4 controller already then just buy an 8bitdo adapter or Mayflash (for wired controllers) so you can use that.

High end PC + Switch is the comfy life
Currently playing Persona 5
>all this
yet it's still the best console of the generation
If only RDR2 came out on PC, but it's just a BOTW rehash anyway so lol
This
Xenoblade 2 Torna the golden country
Zelda Botw dlc
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate
Mario+rabbids
Hollow Knight
Metroid
Golf Story
Disgaea 5 Complete
Kamiko
Shovel Knight
Specter Knight
And there are tons of games I want to play releasing in the coming months. Too many games
>Metroid
?
Seething
>samefagging your own shitty post because everyone ignored it
>comparing the sales of a console released in 2013 to a console released in 2016
Based brainlet. That graph is also outdated.
not really
>D-Doesn't count
Don't start a fight you can't win
>being this buttmad at Nintendo
Playstation is a nigger console for those too dumb or poor to build a proper pc
No arguments. RDR 2 is the best game of the decade, gaming journalists and game producers both in absolute awe. Well deserved best metascore of the decade.
Not everyone wants to beg for games like cuck. How's RDR2?
NES online. Super Metroid
DUDE
are you falseflagging right now?
>losing argument
>move goalposts to PC
Typical Nincel.
>he bought a playstation
oof yikes
It looks like trash so i wouldn't play it even it was on PC, which it will be eventually, remember the GTAV NEVER EVER shitposting?
Come to think of it, what will sony ponies post when RDR2 releases on PC?
Mario Odyssey and Zelda botw have the same score
I'm not even really arguing. I'm not poor and own all consoles and a high end pc. I havent used my PS4 since Bloodborne and I use my Switch all the time. It's a far superior console.
No they don't :) RDR 2 has the highest metascore of the decade, get over it shitter.
*if
When is the Switch port coming lads? The Ps4 is getting an upgrade of the best RPG of all time soon, it's not fucking fair..
>It literally has the same score
Dumb snoy
I'll play the game on PC anyway
It's great.
It doesn't though. Looks better than any PC game. You sound really asshurt and jealous.
How Switch is any better?
>N-No.. Metacritics is just lying!!
Keep seething you jealous shitter
are you really pretending that 90% of people got bored of RDR2 and didn't even finish it?
>97 != 97
Yikes
Are you really pretending that 90% of PC cucks doesn't shit on every PS4 game they can't play? You guys have a mentality of Asperger toddlers.
>Metacritics is lying!!!!
Get over it.
I recently bought a Switch and have BOTW, Odyssey and MK8. I intend to get Smash, Mario Maker, Bayo 1+2, Fire Emblem and Tropical Freeze, just going off first party stuff alone (I also intend to get the two Crash games and Dark Souls since I need to catch up on them).
What else is worth buying? Is Splatoon worth picking up post Splatfests?
but I own it on PS4 and I never finished it.
The game isn't interesting at all, and further more I don't want to buy a 2nd PS4 just to get a stable framerate.
>It looks like trash
Oh god, I wonder like PC games released last years looks like.
MONSTER
HUNTER
actually I was the second guy, I did it facetiously to make the first guy feel bad about his low effort post
Sure PC cuck, keep seething.
>The game isn't interesting at all
Nobody gives a shit about your personal opinion. Literally the highest metascore of the decade, keep seething.
Splatoon 2 is still a great game, splatfests aren't the best part of the game. Make sure to buy the octo expansion with it
Nintendo likes cinematic framerate it seems.
imagine being this upset over platform war shit.
the drought hit you hard, huh?
>he plays games just to beat the story mode
lol pleb.
Splatoon 2 and the octo expansion are some of the best shootan of this gen
all consoles are good and if you argue over which plastic box is better, then you are a virgin
try doing her squad story
what drought?
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS BING BING WAHOOOOOOOOOOO
>fortnite
Guys I made a JP account and now all my News are in Japanese, is there any way to go back to all English?
I only made the JP account for games not available in the US, but all the news being in Japanese is terrible.
Fuck.. I wish I could play Neogeo Neo Turf Masters
talking about the PS4 drought, Switch isn't doing as bad but still pretty dry.
>Switch isn't doing as bad but still pretty dry.
Not even close.
>dry
Mario Maker 2, MUA3 and Fire Emblem Three Houses just released and in the coming months Astral Chain and Daemon X Machina release. There is no dryness
Nah but it is nice
MUA3 and FE Three Houses are both absolute trash though, especially MUA3
That Sega Ages port of Phantasy Star is the true chad's gaming choice, nice touch.
Nah.
Friendly reminder that if you're considering getting a switch, you should wait until the updated version comes out with the more efficient cpu + longer battery life.
Look out for (MOD. HAC-001-01) instead of (MOD. HAC-001) as well as the new packaging.
Will be out everywhere by early September but will vary by individual stores.
except in her pussy when she sees your switch collection
That's your opinion. Don't pretend as if there's a drought just because there are games that you don't like
no
>snoy banter
Yikes that's bad
I’m a PROUD Switch owner. I’m 38 years old have a part time job and I’m working on a GF. I love my life and I love playing Nintendo games. Umad? I see a lot of haters saying Nintendo is for kids but guess what? I’m a grown man and Nintendo games are the best! Everyone can enjoy them! Even little kids and adults! I’m sorry some of you are so insecure that you can’t enjoy comfy and fun video games anymore. I PROUDLY play my switch in public and I’m not worried what anybody thinks of me because I know in my heart that I’m a hero like link and that someday a girl that isn’t fake will notice me and know I value women when I’m spending hours to rescue virtual princesses! This is my life, these are my games, this is my manifesto! HATERS GONNA HATE AND ILL KEEP GAMING!
prove me wrong
After 120 hours in 20 days I just finished the last G rank key quest of MHGU, what a ride. I realize I've only scratched the surface of monster hunter and could dump another 2000 hours into 100%ing this game but I think I'm done. Absolutely phenomenal game, and online is very active in case anyone's considering picking it up.
Currently having a blast with Nintendo LABO
Nintendo will never publish a console game with gacha or lootboxs. Especially with the worldwide bans likely coming in the next year or so.
>I’m 38 years old and I’m working on a GF.
this unironically except 33 full-time job and don't want a girlfriend
Does anything on switch even support a keyboard?
At least that man's having fun. You're stuck here seething over a toy with people you'll never meet
MHGU
Warframe is better on the Switch than the other consoles because of the gyro controls
P5 never ever... maybe.
I still have slight hope.
At least joker is in smash, and we get scramble.
PQ2 is also good, but that's 3ds.
Yeah but Warframe is shit
Why the fuck do you not have a pro controller to play with in the meantime.
Do you ever share your vidya power level with co workers?
On New Year’s Eve I went out with all my co workers after our shift, we went to a bar and I brought my switch cause I thought it would be fun for them to watch me play and I could maybe teach them the basics and then they could get their own switches and we could all play together sometime but nobody seemed interested they all wanted to drink and dance and flirt or whatever I even took the switch on the dance floor and did a little dance while playing smash to show them they could still play smash and do other things because the switch is portable! One girl was actually mean about it and said “put away your game boy and try to act like an adult” and then when I explained to her how the game boy was a very different and much older system and while it has some good old games it would never be able to run smash she just ignored me for the rest of the night until they all went home. Fricken normies right?
>mom I posted it again!
Those gyro controls RE4 are great!
I’m a nincel manchild with a large collection of amiibos and Nintendo paraphernalia. How do I fix my life?
Fucking kek
>tfw too shy to join the #games channel on Slack
well the jerk store called, and they're running out of you!
Would you be willing to sell me your Lucina amiibo?
>Guys I made a JP account and now all my News are in Japanese
This has to be bait.
Will selling them get me a gf and self respect?
Has anyone here played TWEWY and F.E Warriors on the Switch?
How are they (fun, decent, shit, etc)?
Sell it all
Guess I'll have to pay for the online after all. Feels a bit dumb to do it for just one game but it seems like there's a decent amount of multiplayer only content.
SEGA AGES Phantasy Star.
Truly a chad.
you can buy discounted eShops cards and save more. I bought 4 pairs of vouchers for $300
The majority of the content is meant for multiplayer. G rank, deviants, two player arena quests, etc. Some absolute mad men solo this stuff but it's insanity, all the mons are scaled for teams so each one will take forever to kill unless you're an autistic speedrunner.
Don't forget you can use a keyboard for chat. Enjoy!
Pros: Doesn't have the awful lighting of the remaster
Cons: Audio is fucked up
i also have an English account so why can't it show English as priority?
30fps with drops needs to be in cons as well
Dark Souls Remastered on switch is great, looks much better than the other remasters. Yeah compressed audio, but I'll take that over ugly visuals any day
Selling your Lucina will be a step closer to that yes.
[email protected]
We can discuss the shipping and prices here if you're interested in parting with Lucina.
Waiting for this until I get a Switch, maybe a special edition one
I've never played a Dragon Quest game before. Is the one they're rereleasing akin to other JRPGs with lots of textboxes and piles of story? I don't mind grinding but story heavy games have always been a turn off for me.
I've heard Hyrule Warriors is great
I'm pretty excited for it but they really hid it behind something you wouldn't normally find until late game unless you knew about it, huh?
You have to have 1,000,000 credits in cash readily available, not just accrued total, then you get one of the chars needed to do Vancey's squad story.
I like her enough that I'm going out my way to grind that money up before I carry on with the story, I want it ASAP.
Waiting for mine too. Glad these controllers can be used with other systems.
I still can't get my SNES 8bitdo controller to work, I need my nostalgia kino!!!
On a related note what the FUCK is taking nintendo SO FUCKING LONG to put out SNES games on the switch
Oh, that much? I treated World like a single player game 99% of the time, guess I'll have to get used to hunts being ruined by others carting. At least when I play alone it's my own damn fault.
The solo and multi "campaigns" are about equally long, but the vast majority of content is on the multi side. It's actually really nice when you find hunters you click with and hunt together for hours. It's the most community driven game I've played on switch, you have chat and can join friends' lobbies etc. But like I said, if you're a lone wolf you can play that way too but with the caveat that it will be much harder. I saw a (reddit) post where a guy 100%d the game solo, it took 1500 hours. So it can be done.
>a major release every month now
RIP my wallet and free time
Playing Dragons Dogma.
Anyone got any tips?
I fucking love the Switch.
Isn't the Dark Souls Remaster not the actual remaster and just a port of the PS3 version?
Thinking about getting it but the fact we don't get DaS2 or 3 bothers me.
>Actually playing Switch in public
Bingbing wahoos should be exclusive to the home
Yes, it's the OG Dark Souls but with modern performance and slightly compressed audio. I will buy 2 and 3 if they release them, but not counting on it.
What point do you start going online? I still only have 2* quests unlocked.
You can go at any point, just make or join lobbies with people around your HR. I finished G rank while still 4* on solo. High level players will usually drop in to help as well.
>Astral Chain
>Daemon X Machina
>MUA3
>???
I'm debating buying a second pair of vouchers before the deal expires, but I don't know if there's a fourth game incoming within a year's time that I'd want. I don't care about Luigi's Mansion and Fire Emblem, I'm still iffy on Animal Crossing and Pokémon looks like shit.
Contrary to what AAA publishers would have you believe, sequels are SUPPOSED to improve upon their predecessors.
Hows God Eater?
MH just doesn't do it for me anymore after playing a lot of it on Switch and DS.
Is Warframe any good on the Switch?
I'm waiting until it's pirated before I jump in. So far only unreleased games looks worth it.
Anyone here think MUA3 is kinda unbalanced in Superior and Ultimate? There is definitely characters that don’t do well here (like Ironfist)and then we have Scarlet Witch which can just spam heals and most boss fights can be won with full HP.
well there's also zelda and there's the possibility that DQ XI S will also be voucher valid, since Builders 2 was and it seems like DQ XI S is being published by Nintendo aswell
No but I really, really want one now because I'm bored as fuck of my xbox and ps4. The only reason I even play the xbox is because of friends I have on it which is only fun for a few hours a day. I literally haven't turned on my ps4 since in finished spiderman like 6 months ago and even though I own a bunch of games on it i actually hate this cinematic bullshit they keep throwing out like god of war and TLOU remastered. The switch looks to have games I would really enjoy with a lot of gameplay like mario odyssey, astral chain, pokemon, animal crossing etc. I'm just waiting for the new switch lite and the refresh switch to release to see if I can get a good deal on any of them and to see which one is best to have for the next few years.
Any good games for handheld mode? I'm mainly using the Switch docked, kinda want to start playing handheld.
katamari
Pretty much everything except Splatoon or Hyrule Warriors
Botw
None of my coworkers play games, but they know that I do. I order my games to work since I'm not home most of the times.
They also know that I mainly play Japanese games, they are pretty chill about it. Don't be a sperg.
Nope! This 2 year drought is really getting to me
DQ 11 has been available for voucher purchase for a while
Answer my question you FUCKS
>digimon sleuth and survive are coming to switch
Stop making me thinking to buy Switch. ARGGGHHH
Depending on the type of games you play the first thing I would recommend is getting the dpad joycon. The Hori one doesn't have a battery so it can't be used if it's not connected to the tablet, but it's such a massive quality of life improvement when playing anything where you need a dpad for movement.
Rotate your extra pawns, explore the map a bit to make finding quest destinations easier, try different vocations to gain different skills, upgrade your gear, and playing in online mode will let other players rent your pawn when you rest at an inn, which will help you gain more rift credits to rent higher level pawns and sometimes will gift you some decent gear.
I don't need detachable joycons. I have a pro controller for docked. Is it really worth it? How's the quality? Does it drift ?
Post Yea Forumss
Don't know about the drift, but the stick, the 2 buttons and the ZL feel identical to the default joycon (and they probably are), the L is slightly larger, enough to mess with some grip cases, and the dpad is pretty solid, it's definitely better than the pro controller one. In fact the only handheld dpad I enjoyed more was the vita one. I got it for playing shit like Hollow Knight and Dead Cells, couldnt stand playing without a dpad.
>has to make a thread asking of people are enjoying their switch over 2 years in
Reeks of desperation. Why do you need further validation? Just enjoy your console and have your own opinions.
Are you stil there pls respond to me
>tfw trying to beat Ultimate in MUA3 before FE3H comes out
Looks like its not going to happen...
;-;
Tried online and the randos dies more than the fucking NPCs.
Suddenly really excited for Dragon Quest XI S
Any decent games on sale atm? EU.
Mutant Mudds Collection is only £1.09 on the eShop
Post your most played game
Pic related, 430 hours.
So how does Diablo 3 play on the Switch? Really need a grindan looter game right now
It's a shining example of how to actually port a game, 10/10. Sadly I always get bored soon in D3, I miss deeper build crafting found in similar ARPGs.
>Buy for mario, splatoon and zelda
>Finished those and it sits there gathering dust now
>Tried smash but wasn't my thing
Animal crossing waiting room at this point since pokemon isn't looking good
I'm enjoying the games yes.
HOwever teh console is very much a steaming pile of shit and the Joycons are made of fucking paper mache.
Just replaced my joycon sticks. Was surprisingly easy and only ~$15 for a pair of sticks and screwdrivers (they're even cheaper on eBay but I wanted it quicker). Sucks that they have the drifting issue, but I'm just glad to be able to use my switch in handheld without dropping $80 on a replacement pair.
Strangely enough replacement buttons are way pricier than the sticks :(
the port is solid, but if you want a looter game I would get GenU instead. It has a ton of content and lots of gameplay variety
Started playing Stardew Valley. I’m lost but liking it
Do I get Breath of the Wild or Super Mario Odyssey first?
MHGU
I hope the dumb fucks splatoon developers take the time to play COD, BF, and every other fucking shooter game and learn how to create QOL UI and Loadout. Why the fuck can't i even quit out in the waiting room? They got fucking four to five years to do so! Lazy fucks with their piss poor updates, with their halfass game.
Very disappointed with Oninaki switch demo version. Hopefully this isn't the final version for the main release.
>got terraria few days ago
fuck this is fun
BotW in my opinion but you really can't go wrong with either of the two.
>Salmon Run is open when they say so
>can't form a friend lobby to play turf war with randos
>can't play League alone
>two map rotation
>could have two more voice commands on the d-pad but don't
>can't skip Off the Hook announcements
>make new subs and specials and barely put them on any weapons
>region-locked exclusive gear
Only downside is having to pay for online. I mean really, for what reason?
Get Mario first. You can combo the fuck out Breath of the Wild and the sequel, make it the long ass greatest Zelda game you ever play!
T.Rosalinafag
Smash, 160 hours. 400 hours in youtube wew lad.
really enjoying the game I just started not too long ago and this is the exact list I would've written about what I hate about it plus that it's also very bad at explaining how builds and snails and food truck stuff work. I have to google how to do most things the first time
How easy is it to replace the sticks?
Will the new sticks not have the drifting issue eventually also?
They most likely will wear out again eventually, although I mostly use my pro controller now so I'm hoping they'll last a while. I got my switch release date and my original sticks were good for over a year (Probably 500+ hrs usage).
Replacing them was really easy, there are plenty of guides on YouTube, it took about 20 minutes for both sticks, and I imagine doing it a second time would be even quicker. The left and right controller layouts are slightly different, most of the videos just show the left controller, but one you've done one it's fairly obvious how to do the other, but I'd check a video for each just to be safe. I don't have very steady hands and I still managed without any trouble.
My pro controller has started to drift down, Nintendo better include this as part of the free drift fixing and not say joy cons only.
It's fucking great, audio aside, but it's not even a big deal.
Failing that it probably is repairable, but it's a bit more involved than joycons. Good luck user.
docs.google.com
This is exactly what I’m worried about
Enjoying L.A Noire right now
Based black hand poster
Mario Maker 2 is pretty great. Been playing it with my bro.
Other than that I just really, REALLY want new Animal Crossing.
Is it worthy to pirate Mario maker 2? Since I can't play online. Apparently the levels from Nintendo are great.
Anyone know of decent switch decals? Debrand barely has any choice and they all suck.
I'm really excited for Fire Emblem and I've been playing lots of Mario Maker and finally played The Messenger. Messenger was really good for the first half and then got pretty meh if anyone's curious
Single player is good, it's like a new 2D mario game by itself. Obviously the player levels are the big draw but SP is worth it.
How is Dandy Dungeon?
Nope, at least not with refunds.
I have no idea what I'm doing too but it's fun to play while listening to podcasts. I started just doing one thing each day until I max that skill. First it was fishing, then exploring the mine, foraging, etc. Bought some animals and fruit trees and started romancing Penny. Very relaxing (except combat, not fun)
Mario, much shorter game.
There's a Picross DS game at my local pawn shop for $5, do I dare delve further?
500 hours of Xenoblade 2 (across 2 NG and 1 NG+ playthroughs), + 40 hours with Torna.
Son of a
I bought one for BotW. The climbing made it the best exploration game I have ever played. Such a simple mechanic, but actually doing it is so fucking fun. The slippery rain and the brittle as fuck weapons are some of the most annoying game mechanics I've ever experienced, though. Lazy boss fights and puzzles. Some people trash the combat, I've never understood why. It doesn't have much depth, but its fun and that is really all I ask from a game.
All in all 8/10.
Yeah.
Getting Fire Emblem tomorrow, the Cyber Sleuth when that comes out. Not too interested in anything else at the moment.
I bought one for BotW, it was worth it. I went on to pick up a bunch of other fantastic games and it has become one of my favorite consoles ever.
I already have Zelda on Wii U and I doubt BOTW2 is coming before the vouchers expire. I'll keep DQ in mind but I still have Tales of Vesperia and Romancing SaGa 2 in my backlog so I'm hesitant to add more JRPGs.
probably. waiting on the new switch
I am having a blast. Will be comfy momfy when animal crossing and Pokemon comes out
t. Master race
It went on sale for 20% off today.
I have a day 1 switch console, but it's got all the software updates. Is it still hackable? How much effort is it? Any risk of getting banned from Nintendo online services?
test
My only problem with the combat is that explosion, fire, lightning, and physics damage don't scale with enemy health.
Yeah.
Can't wait for Etrian Odyssey, Rhythm Heaven and Panel de Pon.
how do amiibos work on the switch?
There's going to be a switch panel de pon? Source?
You tap them on the right analog stick
Wouldn't be surprised if they integrate it in Animal Crossing again.
Dunno if order the black or the snes edition
Gameboy looks cheap
Yeah, replaying Super Mario Odyssey
thats pretty neat, anybody selling a Lucina amiibo?
Should I pay for NSO? I love splatoon but god damn there's no reason for it to be locked behind Nintendo's PS+.
Just finished Little Nightmares. Nice game although a little short but for 11 bucks it was good. How's the DLC? I still have that one to play
Resident Evil ports are finally on sale to $20. What the fuck is up with Capcom really? When the 2 Revelations games came out launch year they were only $20 and had the loading screen games and gyro added.
No, this drought until September has caused me to get a cheap wiiU to hack and play the few exclusives not ported and emulate gamecube games. It does make a great emulation machine I must admit
Do Revelations 1 and 2 have gyro aiming now? I'll buy those again to replay raid mode with gyro.
Some shrines are a nightmare in handheld mode
Got CFW on my switch a few days ago, played Fire Emblem for 11 hours straight yesterday. It's so good bros. My Seasons of War edition comes in the mail tomorrow but I'm gonna keep it sealed.
After 11 hours of gameplay I feel like I've barely gotten anywhere, in a good way. I've played maybe 5 or 6 maps in that amount of time. Running around the monastery and talking to everyone and doing activities is very comfy. I enjoy teaching all my students and helping them grow into capable warriors. Blue Lions all the way.
The Revelations games alwasy had gyro and even make use of the camera on the right Joy Con to reload. They are great ports.
Now the mainline Resident Evil games are where they massively fucked up
capcom is the most jewish and lazy of all the jap devs. just look at Sf2
Not really. It's not that the games are bad but playing the switch and video games in general makes me feel like a manchild flushing valuable time away. I'm free bros.. I'll finally start getting things done and investing my time in bettering myself.
Konami is worse by far. Look at they’ve treated their IPs
What are your new hobbies? I’m thinking about dropping visual myself
>They are great ports.
Nice.
Do you know if REmake or 0 ever got a patch for the load times? I just watched the digital foundry video and everything I could deal with but those ridiculous load times.
>now
They've always been there and you can use them in addition to the analog controls. Once you tweak the sensitivity you can get some really precise shit.
The wait for Fire Emblem is killing me. Doesn't help that today is my only day off from work and I'l probably only have 3 hours to play once it releases tonight.
," he said as he continues to shitpost on 4channel created by Hiroyuki
I just don't understand why they put so much effort into the Revelations ports to begin with.
I'm seriously considering selling my consoles and moving on from gaming. They're simultaneously addictive and not very fun at this point. Quitting cold turkey seems like the only sane move. It's about time to start grinding towards real life achievements.
what do they need me for? you're their top seller!
You can have multiple hobbies.
Unless of course you're a woman, in which case you can't have hobbies.
Yes. I almost never undock it, but I’m very much enjoying the strong library and surprising amount of retro gaming love.
Currently playing R-Type Dimensions. Never gave it much of a shot on 360, but I’m really getting into it now.
Thanks. Don't have a switch yet so all I had to go off of was a digital foundry video and they didn't even mention the gyro aiming so I didn't know it had it.
You know a game is good when Yea Forums doesn't talk about it. Mario Odyssey is one of those games. Also RDR2.
How old are you two?
No problem. They also get pretty cheap, I think they're on sale right now for like $14. That said, while the ports are technically competent, the games themselves have design issues.
autismal pirates downloaded tons of stages and compiled them into packs.
Alright boys, got into the emuMMC tools, tapped create emuMMC then selected "Sd partition", and now I'm getting a bunch of errors. What do I need to do boys?
Bouncing between Three Fates and Wizards Symphony.
Damn good times.
I think you can manually remove the Japanese news from your feed except for certain ones. Check your subscribed channel list or whatever it's called.
Pushing the payload. Any switch can enter RCM but ipatched switches won't accept payloads.
Are there any third party controllers worth getting?
I got a mayflash adapter to play with my WiiU pro controller but I don't like losing the screenshot button.
What are your favorite couch co-op games for Switch?
pretty sure you can screenshot by pressing the Home +Select button on the xbone controller with mayflash
This is my specialty, I'm all about couch co-op and vs.
Overcooked 2
Towerfall
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
One Strike
Mario Maker 2
Smash
Street Fighter 30th Anniversary
Ultra Street Fighter 2
Dragon Ball Fighterz
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Horizon Chase Turbo
Capcom Beat Em Up Bundle
ACA classics (samsho, KOF, metal slug, etc.)
Pokemon LGP
Mario Party
The biggest hits when people come over are usually One Strike and Towerfall.
when does we get our replacement joy cons or free fixes or whatever?
Also forgot the co-op mode for Mario Rabbids Kingdom Battle, it's great
>no Diablo 3
one of the best couch games imo
I am considering selling my Switch and buying a WiiU. Convince me not to
post this question in like two weeks and ill tell you if the beboncool controller is any good
Follow your heart
If it's RCM then sell your switch and then just buy another switch and a WiiU with the profits.
RCM?
for what game? Anything other than XCX and I disown you
I'm gonna check out those first four games.
Agree with SMM2. Incredibly fun downloading other people's levels and trying them out with a friend.
MK8D gets boring really quick imo, even when playing with friends.
Not really big on fighting games but I'll play and have fun with Smash occasionally.
..
My favorite couch co-op games are probably Cuphead and SMM2 I'd say. Snipperclips can be fun in spurts.
You guessed it user. I am still your best son
also for hacking
I just finished Sega Ages Phantasy Star. What should I play next?
Played about an hour of FE3H. So far so good, but it's time to sleep.
>One right joycon has fucked up drifting stick
>Another right joycon has fucked up gyro and button inputs
Man seriously fuck these controllers.
Golf Story. How'd you like PS? I beat 4 (excellent game) but never played the others.
>friend offering $200 for my switch
Might sell it. I've beaten everything I want to, the only game I'll miss will be BotW 2 but oh well. Great console but it might be time to move on.
Sell it and buy the upgrade
With a Platinum game coming out next month?
Yeah user, I've been playing a lot of Splatoon, especially with the final Splatfest that happened. ARMS is something I should go back to, but if I were to do that it'd just be a horde of Party matches, since I'm not that great right now.
Wolf II's got motion controls.
Played Golf Story was back when it released. PS1 was awesome. I never played the series before. I used a guide about halfway through the game but still enjoyed it. The updates make it pretty easy though once you get a full party. Still satisfying to grind exp and money and stomp everything.
In a way thanks to this I consider Splatoon one of the most anti-consumer games Nintendo has put out.
>could have two more voice commands on the d-pad but don't
Yep. Communication in this game is terrible because sometimes teammates will have no idea what to do. Voice chat is instrumental for a game like this, but since Nintendo is thinking of the children then just add two more D-Pad commands. It's not hard.
>can't skip Off the Hook announcements
Agreed. Nogami said you can't because "you need to experience the lore!" or some bullshit like that. It's stupid. If you can skip Sheldon Cooper's fucking weapon autismo, why can't you with this?
It's a decent system beyond the faggotry that is having to pay for online. I like how versatile it can be. That's something that definitely sets it apart from the Wii U, and I love the Wii U to begin with.
Got Fire Emblem today and did the first stage. Now I have to go wagecuck for 9 hours.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I miss being NEET
Christ that RE4 icon is fucking horrible. Remember the Snake Pass one? Sonic Mania? Even the icon guideline documents from the devkit tell developers it's not recommended to do that.
thinking about buying a switch on offer up tomorrow for 270, its super clean
what should my first game be that't not zelda?
Mario Odyssey
If you can wait until next month there's going to be a slight revision to the base switch with 2 hours more battery life that also runs cooler.
wait, you're not talking about switch lite right? you mean a new revision with the dock?
Ok thanks, is the switch version of Wolf's 2 good? Wanna play it just for Gyro's control.
I don't care about the story
And I'm not as sensitive as /pol/ too
Yes
Yes he mean that, though I would advice you to buy a used switch which can be hacked, a hackable switch is miles better than a switch with more battery, the new switch and the version can't be hacked
user is talking about the new batch of of Switches with more efficient chips. Thus making both the old Switch and Switch lite somewhat sub-par in comparison.
Switch has made me finish games once again, i always sit on my desk while at home and shitpost while playing.
meh
Guess this is the thread proper.
Was playing about half hour ago. Played Guilty Gear XX.
Had fun messing around with training and Team VS CPU. Think I'll mess with Story and MOM mode next.
The story's timeline is different from Xrd right?
It's a slight revision but if you haven't bought a switch yet and are planning on paying 270 for a used one, might as well wait a month to get a better one at 300 that at least will come with a warranty and be new instead.
I think beyond the decrease in resolution you should be fine. It's a bit blurry in TV mode and even more so in handheld, but it should be workable.
I just put new shells on em... waitin till next check to get a new back cover
I need to get back into playing MHGU.
Yep. Been working on my MC world, I have over 450 hours on the current save (fuck W10 version). Also playing through Dark Souls for the first time. I'm about to kill Seathe. Haven't touched Mario Maker 2 much at all, but I'll get around to it. It's one of those games you don't really need to play immediately. Excited for Three Houses tomorrow!
Playinlg Labyrinth of Refrain and i don't want it to end.
I'm interested in a Metal Slug or Samurai Showdown game but there's too many to know which is the most essential entry
Not really, I don’t care about most games, and BotW was pretty mediocre
I am super hyped for HM friends of Mineral Town
and here's my physical collection so far
Metal slug X is considered the most essential game in the series. SamSho 2, 4 and V special are probably the best games in the series. I'd say get V special since it's the most polished but I prefer 4 as it has better graphics IMO.
>nerd
I love this shit!
this is so much funnier than it should be, can this be the default response to wojaks now?
It’s a “new” switch that has 2 more hours of battery and faster load times
What are some good co-op games besides Travis Strikes Again and Marvel UA3?
when does fire emblem download release? midnight for every time zone or unified release??
midnight pst
midnight. I checked Australian eshop at midnight since I get home from work late, and it changed from preorder to purchase at midnight.
Does it get updates at the same time as the other consoles?
thanks friend
I think it caught up. Their website has it on the home page.
How shit or not shit is this game on Switch? I'm tempted because the story and detective aspect really appeals to me but I've heard the draw distance is so bad you fail a certain mission because you can't see far enough ahead
