So, do you have a flu? I don't know which country you're in, but when I'm sick with a painful flu with a fever, this is what I do.

Now you'll not only be relieved of pain, but you'll be on an opiate so AT LEAST you can have a mild high and have some fun while you're ill. Then you play something slow-faced but comfy, like a turn-based RPG.

Yeah, I only ask about antibiotics because it makes doctors less likely to assume that I'm just trying to get codeine. Just so you know, I'm no addict, I simply want a pain killer that actually fucking works when I'm dying from a flu. Why are you scared of doctors? If you hate going, you could call a locum doc to come to your house.

If you got some good painkillers your head wouldn't hurt and you could have a comfy time or at least half enjoy being sick, as much as someone can enjoy that, anyway.

I'm my own boss too, and I'm on the back-end of recovering from a broken collarbone :( It's been reaaallllyyyy shitty and since I work freelance, I don't get benefits like sick leave or anything. I would have starved/not been able to make rent if my friends didn't financially bail me out.
