I'm actually really enjoying prophecy of Pendor, not that I've got a decent band of 100 men that are all well trained enough to not be shit. Getting Donovan and Ser Jocelyn early really help since both are great trainers, and the elf guy is a powerhouse. Donovan also has a Arquebus if you want one to use.

The game of thrones mod is pretty comfy

Ia that going to be a thing? I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about it being your starting character and his descendants, especially if the lords and companions dont age, but shit like that would make up for it. I liked it just being that one particular characters rise to power.

Takes about a week in-game to train an army to veteran or higher status, attack sea raiders when starting your army up so you can get out of footman tier then just go for smaller lords to get higher and higher. You should always run away from a battle you can't win, even if u have to sacrifice some men to do it.[
