I literally beat this for the first time last night.
Amazing game for the time.

>razorbeard eats yellow lum
>counter goes down
i got chills

>That zoom in on the Prison Ship before the final battle which puts it into perspective that this arena which is the size of baseball field is the fucking crows nest on a ship the size of a city

what version should I play? heard dreamcast is the best but I don't know.

PC

N64 one has the most soul.

How can I play Rayman Revolution again?

PS2 or Dreamcast

I never touched those 3D Rayman games as a kid as I thought they looked like shit.

Either Dreamcast, PC or N64

Is this the one where you can choose to accept the gold, and retire to an island and grow fat with your riches?

Good to know, now fuck off

Yes

>PC or N64
Those two are literally the exact same version though. You should have listed the ps2 port instead of the n64.

PC has the CD soundtrack, 60fps and can be hacked to run in any resolution

best versions are Dreamcast and Revelutions (PS2)

Fuck you too buddy.
Rayman was never good.

>N64 one has the most soul.
unironically this
n64 version has a darker color palette and creepier soundtrack than the other versions

well Ubisoft seems to really want it to be, turns out making more "Tom Clancy's whatever" makes more profit

I have this on 3DS. Is it a good version?

Was this game really hard at points or was I just a retarded kid

I've owned the PC port of Rayman 2 since it came out and still haven't gotten past the flying segment near the end of the game, although the last time I seriously attempted it was nearly eight years ago.

I miss 3D raymans

what this user said and the changes on the PS2, even if I like them, aren't everyone's cup of tea

>See you in rayman 4!

>find the secret yellow lum in Tomb of the Ancients
>counter goes back up to 1000

is there any n64 that supports rgb?, i have pretty decent crt and after trying rgb with the gamecube i can't go back, composite is so shit

There's s video

would you want it completely remastered if you could have it, Yea Forums?

choose your destiny

Hell yeah. The whole trilogy if i'm being honest.

This

>The last 3D Rayman game came out 16 years ago.
>The last Rayman console game came out 6 years ago
>The last Rayman game in general came out 4 years ago.
Why does Ubisoft hate him now?

there were 8 years between 3 and origins, so there's s-still hope!

Ancel is busy and will come back to the series once he's done with his current projects and Ubisoft knows Rayman doesn't sell enough to warrant them making a new game yet

Attached: WaVKeDP.png (926x617, 817K)

Probably not, its been ported so many times already

more like incel

N64 can be modded for RGB and HDMI
S-Video is available out of the box for all but the very last console revision. But Nintendo region locked the cable.

Cope and dilate

If the first is remastered the final level should be accessible after beating skops. Finding all the cages should be rewarded with bonus level from Rayman Gold and 100 levels.

And 2 should be the PC/Dreamcast version but with new levels made from the hubs of Revolution.

I will never forget you, youre in my top 10 if not number 1

I only recently found out about the SECOND hidden room in the tomb of the ancients. The one near the fight with Clark where there’s a mini forest area and globox’s family dancing
Fucking almost 20 years and I still find new shit in this game

64 has the most soul
PS2 has the most content, including actual overworked, upgrades you buy with Lums and an actual fourth guardian among other extra bosses, and most Dreamcast minigames
Dreamcast has some exclusive mini games
PS1 is like shorter than the rest but has an entirely unique boss fight

This all sounds too enticing to actually happen.
Hence why it won't.

Attached: rayman_sad_by_rousemouse-d4gk3wg.png (500x527, 237K)

Oh shit PS1 version also like exclusively had the prototype of a get original 2D version

>The concept art for 4 implying it would have all the environments from Rayman 1 plus more, and wouldn’t be as dark and edgey as 3 was (which wasn’t much but still)

better than Mario 64 in every fucking way
great game, probably best in the series
>retarded mumble speech
>better
no

He’s with Goemon now...

No you are not.

3ds port fucking blows, unless you run it overclocked with a new 3ds, then it's passable

Fuck off u cheeky cunt

I grew up with the PS1 version, the lack of levels is a bit sad but the final boss is way better than the other version we got on the other consoles, and dodging the mumble voices is always a good thing

so, why do you hate rayman 3 so much, user?

I dont. I prefer it over 2 actually.

It's actually one of my favorite games of all time, so no, i don't hate it.

Attached: 1506621070248.png (1280x720, 354K)

I hate this project. Rayman 1 levels aren't made for 3d and the plot was a stupid 4th wall breaking. The introduction of Rayman 3 was already hated because of Murphy, now imagine having the whole game like that.

except its the best 3d platformer after nothing

i just now realized that literally every game in the rayman franchise is good/great
how did he do it?

The postmodern Rayman 4 would have completly blown my mind as a teenager.

Why is the first one so fucking hard?
It's the one game I still cannot for the life of me beat to this day.

It would have broke my hearth and I would hate it and probably trashtalk it on Yea Forums.

Rayman 3 is great. Not as great as 2, but the environments, music and dare I’ll even say gameplay is better. It just doesn’t feel as magical as 2, maybe what was accomplished with the technology limitations plays into it

Same here, I think I gave up at Blue Mountains
