When Vinesauce started, everyone in the original shared it on the Vinesauce channel I think so I figure they had a furry streamer in the original team who added their furry friends and they probably continued to mod all the channels until eventually sticking around to his then adding their friends etc.
That's all just speculation though, I have no idea.

Joel does it for fun, Vinny does it as a routine.

If you go back and look at their old stuff there's a much higher percentage of "Yea Forums humour". Having humour beyond refrences is a good thing but it all feels a bit too clean and family friendly these days. I blame abandoning Chatango for twitch chat.
