Too many problems at launch made people leave and don't come back, then after the FE collab they had reruns and dead periods and made people leave again.

They aren’t. There’s only a small handful of good designs in the game and crossover characters are still more popular than 99% of the cast.

On a phone. ARPGs on a phone will always be shit. Once you actually understand the game DL actually offers less meaningful choices than a turn based game like GBF.

Most of the character designs are recycled from a shut down Akihiko Yoshida mobage. The actually original character designs range from passable to terrible. This includes the dragons.

Terrible launch where they took way, way too long to actually fix anything. For the first ~6 months the game was nothing but two recycled events all of which had bugs tied to them, and a painful grind of the dailies which took over an hour a day, I've never played any mobage that had a bigger time investment just for the daily rewards. Also the rates were actually worse than FGO with the rateup characters being 0.5% as opposed to FGO's 0.7%, and the pity rates were designed to be broken by wyrmprints which are fucking useless. And the weapon upgrade system was absolutely fucking insane.
A lot of that's fixed now but most people quit before then.

Honkai Impact 3rd has vastly better action gameplay and released years earlier. But it is still rather shallow.

I’m convinced the bad rates were Nintendo’s fault. Look at how insanely jewish FEH is, there isn’t a day that goes by that they aren’t finding some way to take away free orbs and introduce some powercrept whale bait.
GBF meanwhile is literally the most generous mobage in existence and I haven’t spent a cent in 2 years of playing outside of one suptix. You can easily save up sparks to literally choose what character you want from free crystals.

Dragons don’t make money. Puzzles & Dragons figured that out a very long time ago and it’s why they started pumping out gods/monster girls.

GBF needs to be generous or no one would put up with its godawful UI and Treehouse-tier localisation.

Relatively few of the non-story, non-fodder dragons are actually dragons. There's a handful of chubby chibi males a la Tera's Popori in a couple flavors, a couple humanoid girls, a unicorn, and even a bishounen with wings and horns. Floating humanoid models are way easier to animate, model, and market to the general public through attractiveness than huge reptilian beasts.

It's happening in NA Aug 3rd. Pre event bonuses on July 31st. Event is lasting a few weeks. Also, Whore bot and tiddies are locked behind the ingame currency unique to the event and you can't buy that currency with real money and have to earn it through playing. Ironically, you can't buy the whore bot with real money, though her special alt costume is unique in that it is. Also also, the JP version is confirmed to have voice acting for the va-11 ha11a girls. So they are going to have canon voices soon. JP is coming after NA though.

Gala has boosted rates, you should have waited.

The trick is to skip a banner or two to save up. Also waste your tickets first by the tens to boost up rate for 10 rolls incase you can luckshit a second 5 star

Big event ones are all in. The only t-dolls that would be forever lost to you would be the ones that get added as rewards for logging in 21 days in a month. 1 tdoll per month. The ones that were added as mini events as well, such as TAC-50, though those t-dolls are few and far between. And the two t-dolls from the fighting games crossover event they had last year.
