This has only happened to me once in a long fuckin time, and he was fired within a month for being a needy cunt who didn't care about their clients.
For normal people, how is this not a great thing to happen? God knows you weren't going to bring up your interests in vidya beforehand. Even if you don't like JRPGS, it at least means they play video games at all. Most people at most job don't give a shit about vidya since they have jobs
>coworker asks which games you play
>former owner of an establishment talks about the good old days

CAREFUL user, CAREFUL NOW!
They are designed for people with stressful lives, to give them something easy, repetitive, and soothing to distract them. You wouldn't get it if you think games are meant to be exciting, because jrpgs are meant to calm you down.
JRPGs are hard as fuck. Most of them have enemies that level with you. "Grinding" hasnt been a viable strategy since PS1 and even then FF8. In addition to that hidden collectibles that all but require a trip to Gamefaqs and complex "fusion" systems. It's probably the least braindead genre their is really.
I hate them.
