I want to fuck the Red Prince.

nah, i was a dumb ass and bought Pathfinder and Pillars of eternity, during the sale, but they are not the same at all. I am currently playing Pathfinder and while idk wtf i am doing, i am having a decent time. Not nearly as fun as Divinity though

>6/10 with tons of flaws
>masterpiece

No flaws that i found.

>great first act and gets progressively worse afterwards
>no classes, making every playthrough and build samey
>mmo tier combat (cooldown based skills, turn based)
>shitty equipment scaling
>dude fire covering the whole screen lmao
>all characters feel off and aren't written like actual humans
>Larian humour
>characters get killed and magically come back to life without explanation

Elmo's Toy Truck Adventure

turn based > diablo clone

Turn based is shit, rtwp is better in every way.

RTWP is shit. Tabletop games are turn based, zoomer.

I'm a fan of RTWP games but none of them have as fun combat as D:OS has. D:OS2 could've been better for reasons you mentioned but come on now.

>Tabletop games are turn based
Typical brainlet argument, they're turn based cause there's no other way to play them in real life, doesn't mean that rtwp isn't superior in video games.

>rtwp isn't superior in video games.
Correct, thanks for admitting it.

>let's make a gameplay type that lacks the steady-pace and control of turn-based, and the fast-paced and quick-thinking of RTS

Play it without pause then.

>he's never played a tabletop rpg

Retard

>tabletop RPGs are the same as videogames
>no arguments, yet again

pillars of eternity introduced turn base (in beta) and although the game isn't near the level of dos, I had fun and would recommend. the turn base mode increases game time significantly, so be patient if you're to try.

problem with this game is that once you play it all the other games in the same genre become unplayable

There is nothing like it because everyone else was too busy sucking cock of and imitating decade-old games instead if trying to make a modern one.

Only works for grand strategy as paradox proved.

Also worked in Pathfinder

How can I make the Red Prince betray the Red Princess without maining him?
I fucking hate it that he drops you like a sack of bricks whenever it involves that cunt.

No.

Yes

Some specs are OP.
Some parts are extremely boring, I enjoyed it till you get to Arkh, there's some good shit there yes but at that point the magic is gone. You have enough money to buy the entire city, you don't feel involved with the quests anymore (you just do shit without thinking about it). At that point the only thing remotely challenging are the boss battles if you don't cheat your way out of them by snuffing out candles or working together with the Divine and undead's at the final battle.

>what's the point of simulating city management mechanics in a city management videogame
>what's the point of simulating drafting mechanics in a sports video game
>what's the point of simulating tabletop mechanics in a dnd video game
I thought the point of Divinity was to be a tabletop but in a fully 3d realized world you can explore with a self-running campaign.

Funny how it misses everything else from tabletop like dice rolls.

Pathfinder Kingmaker

PoE is shitty game.

That's literally what RNG is though silly.

>implying DOSfags can play an actual crpg

Weird I just started playing this game. I have one question though. Im gonna assume that going it solo is mechanically extremely hard? Im early on and even weak enemies are taking a serious beating to kill from a party of 4.

Pick up at least one companion, find the one that you think you'd get along with the most for your trip, then get lone wolf talent for both of you.

Rtwp is for trannies to dumb for turnbased combat and to slow for real time combat. I guess its fine to be able to pause the game to dilate.
