bandai namco helped develop the game and they didn't get anything new in the base game. They need a way for their mii costumes to return alongside a fighter. Plus Heihachi was even planned for 4. I don't even want him but I think it's almost inevitable.

I don't want this, but one of the DLC slots is most likely going to be a hunter from Monster Hunter.

He was planned for Smash 4 but wasn't included because Sakurai couldn't figure out how to transfer Tekken's limb based system to Smash. That's not to say that he can't figure it out in the future, but there's at least a concrete possibly as to why he could be ruled out.

Dragonborn wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, if you take advantage of some of the more unique shouts for specials, and give him more than sword and board for melee hits. There was dual wielding in Skyrim, so that could make for a fun moveset. I'd much rather get Doomguy though, if we're talking stuff developed *or* published by bethesda.

Heihachi is better than Soulsmeme at least and unlike it is a actual Namco character that has appeared in their numerous crossovers unlike Souls

Legit would be still be happy if either the LDB got in over Doomguy. They're both great concepts that would work well for smash
